  1. Good that ive spent the last few weeks learning a recipe for +81 surge and it gets nerfed the day after, well worth the time and effort :/
  2. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=297666 my thoughts and proposals
  3. I have been a obsessive synthweaving crafter since launch. I have been infuriated at the % drop rate from RE. After spending millions learning recipes, i have come to the conclusion that i really like the way the system works. You might say why? Well it means that if you want to be a well known crafter and put considerable effort into it, you will get the rewards from having recipes nobody else will have. IF you and pick items people will want to buy and keep RE them they "should" sell well and be worth it. My problem with this is that the crafting is unbalanced. PVP gear is still overrated maybe OP even when PVE'ing esp since people are now collecting battlemaster PVP sets. mods/ Enhancements est purchaced by dailies are better when placing into open items The only possible way to make any decent credits is by Critting and adding a augment slot onto the top tier crafted item. On some items this might well sell for 500,000 which can be as good as rekata which i already have an order for. Bearing in mind i might craft 10 items and not crit once. I can not sell the none critted items because they are not good enough as columi and PVP items are way better. I do not want the crafting to get any easier or harder, the balance is quite right but the way to make the recipes more valuable is needed. And not just release more recipe drops because then as i go back to my original point there is no effort involved or exclusively The only way to help 3 professions as i see it is to BUFF Augments. This would help Slicing and the issues with it not being a money maker. and also Synthweaving because critted items at all levels would have more value when comparing to PVP, Columi, maybe even Rekata gear. The augment level could be raised from +28 to something like +38. The 3rd profession is for the crafting material sellers as that in itself can be a profession. This can be replicated to Armormech. This would not take alot of work just some balancing to make sure that the Augments are not WAAAAYYYY OP. Its a fine balance and this is the only way i can see giving the GTN a boost in activity and other crafting professions viable
  4. I think you need to try getting the level 49-50 purples. Ive got 3 Top 49 recipies for boots, gloves and a helm. so far and ive pumped every credit into my crafting, ive even spent well in excess of 7 million credits into learning a better "Overkill Arch Savent Boots" and nothing yet, thats over 80 RE's. Only way to sustain this is to sell items ive learned already to supply the cost of the mats to learn the boots one. If my other recpies start to fail to sell i would never be able to afford to craft. which would mean i would stop crafting all togeather and just sell the matts instead. Can anyone who has crafted the T2 Overkill Arch savent boots like Vehemence Arch-Savant Boots for instance please let me know that they exist and not bugged.
  5. You know that with a primary stat you get +crit with it? more willpower/basestat give you the extra dps/Hps and extra crit, any other crit will stack with that. So more primary stat is a win/win with regards to wanting crit, so for me the rekata gear is better, if you manage and can get a augment slot whack a surge or crit buff in there as well!! I'm synthweaving and ive spent millions and millions on just trying to learn one recipe and nothing, it is hard work. The only way i have sustained this is the fact i have 3 other recipes which i got lucky on and have been selling well. My augmented boots are better than Tionese gear and they are still T1, when and I'm hoping they do soon improve on the recipe I'm pretty sure they will be closer to columi gear. helping me sell to people who want to gear up for raids buy them. Crafting isn't pointless, they have always been a stopgap for people gearing up for raiding and there is your market. The BOP are extra's which gives you a perk nobody else can get unless they roll synthweaving.
  6. 5 million credits now and counting to learn one recipe and still waiting. Don't know how you guys are wanting T2 lists creating in your recipe book I've only ever managed to create 3 level 49-50 T2 recipes all on different items andi got them within 20 RE. I've spent every credit working on my crafting. Surely its taking you 1000's of attempts to get all T2 in a certain item or you are just extremely lucky. There isn't many T2 light armor force wearing crafters on chuunder server with only about 5 T2 recipies learned that I've seen in the whole of light armor crafters.even to do 1000's of RE there just isn't a way to secure the artifact mats you need to craft them in our server, it just seems strange people are rocking all 5 from one item. I have also noticed that when you loot a Token for Rakata gear the healing gear is called force mystics with dps using stalker, and force masters and another item called survivors but you can't craft a rakata belt or bracers force mystics you can only craft survivors, force masters and stalkers, which are the other prefixes from the vendor. Has this just been over looked? Also there are no force mystics implants only the other prefixes again when I checked the vendor out.
  7. I have currently crafted about 55 Overkill-Arch-savent boots at a cost of over 2.5million credits and nothing, its got 4 stats, end, will, power and alacrity. Does anyone know for sure that this can go into a Vehemence for say or is that it? i cant justify spending any more on this as im already going to be at a loss selling crafted items esp when pvp items will almost be as good if not better.. For what its worth they should have a RE cap so people cant spend 10 million credits on getting a recipe but it not drop and someone else doing it on their first go.
