Welcome back, glad you have trust in the game again, but always be prepared in case EA pulls a fast one on you.
-
Yes in Star Wars, Dark Side is always bad, and Light Side is always good.
-
This is a hilarious and unique gameplay.
Personally I would just not do that one PvP mission, because I'm sure you can still cap the weekly by missing one out of 6 Gree missions.
-
In the end the good guys always win.
-
Do you need to do the 2 PvP dailies to cap for the week?

The rewards for the Gree Event are no different to the rewards for the Rakghoul Event. Cosmetic armor and pets. But people were very happy with what the Rakghoul Event had to offer.
The problem here is that we are too ingrained to the reputation system from the "other mmo", where if you grind your reputation to exalted, you get access to epics.
Which is why some people find the rewards for this reputation system underwhelming because we associated reputation system to powerful gear. The rewards are not a problem because if it were, people would be unhappy with the Rakghoul event. The problem is that the rewards do not meet people's expectations of reputation systems. What the devs want to do to rectify this "problem" is up to them.
What I'm disappointed at is there is no cutscene or story similar to what section X had to offer. Even a brief explanation of what you're doing on Section X when you first step foot on it would be a nice touch.
What I really want, is something to this effect:
*Grinds reputation to Outsider*
Gree: Thank you for your help. Although small, it will surely aid us in our research.
*Grinds reputation to Newcomer*
Gree: Many thanks again for your continued help. I hereby knight you Gree Research Assistant.
*Grinds reputation to Friend*
Since we know you are trustworthy, we will tell you the real reason why we are here... (opens up new missions).
*Grinds reputation to Legend*
You are a champion to us. We are eternally grateful to you. Thanks to you, we have gathered the necessary data for [spoilers of incoming apocalypse]. Please, accept this as a token of our appreciation. Let us hope that the apocalypse will not come to pass. Farewell Conrad...
Give us nice juicy cutscenes to keep us grinding.

I'm in favor of weekly caps, as opposed to daily caps.
I'm waiting for them to change the current daily hardmode FPs for black hole commendations, to weekly.
So instead of having to do hardmode FPs every single day in the week for 5 comms a day, giving a total of 35 comms, they can change it where you can do those 7 hardmode FPs any time before the week ends for 35 comms. This way the player does not need to feel pressured into logging in every day, and can choose to do the bulk of the FPs on weekends.
The weekly cap will also solve the problem of missing out on comms on maintenance day that happens on prime time for people in the APAC region.
So I am in favor of weekly caps because it reduces the pressure to log in everyday in order to remain competitive with the other players.

This is merely a symptom of an underlying problem.
There are 2 sets of numbers to describe those gear.
First is the item level. I believe tionese are 59s, columi are 60s, rakata are 61s, black hole are 62s, and the best one are 63s.
Then there is the name number. The mods for tionese level are named as 23s, and the best ones are named as 27s.
So you have 2 sets of numbers. 59 to 63, and 23 to 27.
Why such a confusing numbering method?
The OP just wants to be able to filter to get the best mods, which are named 27s. Why can't the GTN just let us retrieve items based on item level, instead of the class level? Right now it retrieves all 5 levels of level 50 mods.
With a filter that lets us retrieve the differing levels of mods, then we wouldn't need to type in 27 in the textfield to get the best one.
But the confusing number system needs to go. There needs to be a better way to classify gear.
-
You may want to check your commendations instead.
Credits are not lost, but if your current commendations are over the limit of Preferred Status, those are lost forever.

If the majority of their income is from microtransactions, then they should re-do the 3 tiers of subscription and make it more attractive for their previous players who used to make up 1.7 million subscribers to come back.

SW:TOR owe its life to the people who keep buying Cartel stuff.
-
I think we need a new mechanic. The trinity system is painfully rigid and I don't enjoy being in a queue for groupfinder, even as a tank!
Queues are not fun.
-
We get cartel coins every month, we are gettign a discount by using them....
You know, if they gave subscribers a 20% discount on all items as long as they are subscribed, it would be a very nice gesture...
-
It's a cool idea if neutral classes could work for either republic or empire at whim. But I'm not sure if it can work for SW:TOR.
-
You could gear up your companions.
-
If it was obtainable from in-game, less people would want to buy it.
But, I am in favor of making it possible to sell all cartel exclusive stuff on the GTN.

How can the hilt of a lightsaber do more damage than the blade part of the lightsaber?
Edit: I got this from someone's quote, which blew my mind.
-
Rift doesn't have as many subs as SW:TOR, seeing as sub numbers are often the measuring stick, so I don't think other MMOs will follow suit.
-
There are single character unlocks, and account wide unlocks.
I don't see why they can't sell an account-wide mount that just costs a bit more.
-
Non-subscribers should be able to at least post questions in the new help or bugs forums.
-
Yup I decided to make Focus my off-spec. Thanks.
-
They can create a no-cutscene checkbox for a HM, where players can pre-determine what choices they want to make.
-
I think if it dropped more rakata pieces, where people can gear up in more rakata pieces, it would be nice.
-
I wish the gear was better for hm li. More potential for Rakata pieces other than the chest.
I miss the days when MMOs were wonderous...

I once felt like you do, but for WoW because WoW was my first MMO.
Yes I think it was because we were new and noobs that made it a great experience. We didn't know what to expect, we just accepted this MMO world for what it is. And it was this magical place that kept wowing you.
And no, I don't think we can ever go back to those days, because back then we were like children experiencing new things.
Now, we are grown up adults living in the adult world with consequences. We cannot see MMOs with a child's eyes anymore.
However, I am amazed that so far, no company can make an MMO that wows us like how it wowed us the first time.
Just because I was wowed by Baldur's Gate 2, doesn't mean I will never be wowed by another RPG.
I have recently been wowed by games like Assassin's Creed, Dead Space, Crusader Kings, even Faster Than Light.
Why is there no new MMO that can wow me the way other games have in other genres? Why is the MMO market so stagnant?
