  1. I battled him as a Sith Juggernaut, Tank speced and brought Quinn so he can heal me. In the first round, Baras will be in Soresu form. He can use a Backhand that pushes you back like a Force Push, then he'll use Obliterate to jump to you and attack. So when he does this rotation, be sure to counter with something more powerful than that (ie: Force Push --> Saber Throw --> Force Charge, etc.). Once he's done with that combo, Baras will primarily use his strong lightsaber attacks. Once Baras is in pale-face mode, he'll switch to Shien Form and become more powerful. He also has a few other abilities to try and kill you. He has Crushing Field (basically Smash except extended, it'll slow you down and damage you over time), then he'll use Force Pull to interrupt you and pull you in. Furthermore, Darth Baras has Emperor's Voice, which is basically his 1-hit KO. When he does Crushing Field, back up quickly and use a long-range move like Saber Throw and Force Scream. But once he uses Force Pull, Force Push him then charge right at him. But if you get hit by the Crushing Field, use Unleash immediately. Other than that just attack him as fast and as strong as you can.
  2. I also wanna see some more dramatic landscapes (ie: battle-scarred, charred battlefield, covered in fire and explosions and corpses, with a black, smoky sky.)
  3. Need I also suggest that for the 2nd trilogy of our own SWTOR saga, there should be: 1) More interaction with your companions' class stories and romances 2) Extended levels 3) More flashpoints involving primarily the open warfare between the Republic and Sith Empire 4) More PVP Warzones 5) Gameplay needs to be MORE intense 6) Story needs to be MORE intense and heart-provoking
  4. Well, overall, with the new trilogy coming up, I can expect a more epic, deadly, heart-provoking trilogy than the one we all just played. The Second Galactic War is gonna be more deadly since the Treaty of Coruscant is broken
  5. Yeah, the Desolator weapon. There was also a Planet Prison... "They're making doomsday weapons. Missiles that darken suns, shields that envelop planets. Republic and Empire are planning to raze planets, annihilate civilizations." -- The General before he dies on the Brentaal Star --
  6. Well, I mean to say that the Prologue isn't exactly an official Chapter as much as prologue in a book isn't really an official chapter. Prologue =/= Chapter 1. Well, anyways yes, there should be 3 more chapters for the Second Great Galactic War. I hope I get to see those "doomsday weapons" (meantioned in Black Talon Flashpoint)
  7. Well, all we know at this point is that after the classes finish up the 3 chapters, the Treaty of Coruscant is broken and open warfare between the Sith Empire and Republic has occurred (this primarily happens evidently in the Sith Warrior and Jedi Knight stories). So we basically go from one trilogy in fragile peace (Cold War) to a 2nd trilogy with chaotic galaxywide warfare (Second Great Galactic War).
  8. If the characters' personal storylines are gonna be expanded, how will they follow up from each ending of their Chapter 3 stories? For example, say the Sith Warrior, what's to come for Sith Warriors now that they're the Emperor's Wrath and they've killed Darth Baras?
  9. Okay, Vette: She is sassy, talks back and likes joking around even in life-threatening situations when unnecessary, but really inside, Vette has a heart of gold. She cares about family and really is looking for a person who understands her and cares for her (in this case the Sith Warrior). Now Jaesa: If you make her become an apprentice of the dark side, the former Padawan will become a sociopathic mass murderer, then later a lustful woman. So personally I'd pick Vette if you're looking for the more innocent and pure romance... unless if you're the type of dude who loves it when women get lustful and psycho.
  10. It's official!! Since the Treaty of Coruscant is broken, there is now a Second Great Galactic War. Factors for the start of the war: : The Jedi Knight killed Tarnis : Darth Baras sent his apprentice to start Plan Zero Now since there is open warfare between the Republic and Sith Empire, what possibilities of battles will there be? Who could possibly show up in this War? Will people defect to the other side? What we do know is: 1) Revan's supposed "death" is ambiguous 2) The Sith Emperor is gone, not dead 3) The Sith Empire is now more dangerous and in chaos because of the Emperor's "death" 4) The Treaty of Coruscant was broken
  11. It more or less will. It's basically like an interpretation of what would've happened if WWIII was initiated during the Cold War. Anyhow, more or less, there will be another devastating war between the Republic and Sith Empire. The Republic and Sith Empire have already built doomsday weapons ("missiles that darken suns, shields that envelop planets")(ie: Hammer Station, Desolator, more or less more doomsday weapons) Hopefully, 1) Revan will return to aid the Republic war effort against the Sith Empire and 2) the class stories expand with Chapter Four, Five and Six.
  12. Yeah, that's more likely. Rebellion is the only way for the Sith Empire to fall apart from within. There were a couple key moments in SWTOR in which members of the Sith Empire don't conform to the Emperor's will. 1) Scourge and Darth Nyriss. Nyriss was branded a traitor, therefore leaving the rest of the Dark Council from the Revan novel executed. Scourge still had the knowledge from Nyriss, and betrayed Revan and Meetra Surik in order to protect his cover. He then saw the vision of the Jedi Knight killing him and aided him. 2) Jaesa Willsaam. In the dark-sided version of Jaesa Willsaam's companion story, she says there were some light-sided Sith that broke away from the Sith Empire she wanted to kill. More likely, once the Emperor's true plan has come to light, the Sith Empire will be fearful before rebelling. As much as those loyal to the Emperor respect him, they also fear him. The Sith Emperor is the most powerful being in the Sith Empire; without his people, he's nothing. Scourge was the first spark of rebellion in the Sith Empire. PS: Hopefully Revan and the Sith Emperor battle it out again, this time Revan more powerful than he was when he fought the Sith Emperor.
  13. For expansion, I'd like to see Umbara, Eriadu, Dantooine, and Mandalore (Mandalore primarily to 1) recap on the timelines about the Mandalorians and 2) to understand more of the Sith-Mandalorian alliance)
  14. I've always got the feeling that SWTOR was in essence an entire Star Wars saga based on our class story. We only got three chapters to play our stories from, but don't you agree there should be chapter four, five, and six? It expands the story of each players' character class story and it goes deeper into the war between the Sith Empire and the Republic. I mean after all there was a quote by Ryan Denning in "The Art and Making of Star Wars: The Old Republic" where he said, "In essence, SWTOR is KOTOR III, IV, V, VI, VII, and VIII."
  15. No. The Sith Emperor wasn't truly defeated by the Jedi Knight. The Sith Emperor performed the darkest of all Sith rituals on Nathema, draining the whole planet's life force and its connection to the Force, making him immortal. And yet, even after the Emperor's Wrath dealt the killing blow to the Emperor in that Voss avatar, the Sith Emperor lived on. I think that the Emperor will disappear for a time, trying to live in a new body and regain his full potential. Plus, Scourge's vision wasn't specific in how the Jedi Knight killed the Emperor: location? Dialogue? Specific acts? I think Scourge's vision was very ambiguous. But here's what we do know: 1) The Jedi Knight killed the host body of the Sith Emperor. 2) The Sith Empire is now in chaos and more dangerous. 3) The Republic will savor that victory. And here's my theory on how the story will expand in the Cold War: The Republic and Jedi Order will be convinced that the Sith Emperor is long dead. They will fight factions of the Sith Empire for a time, distracted. Then, similar to how Voldemort from "Harry Potter" remained hidden from existence for a time until he reached his power, the Sith Emperor will do the same, then reorganize the Sith Empire and unify it. Then they will attack again and attempt to recoup their losses. This time, the Sith Emperor will be determined to revisit his mistakes and ensure he will succeed. The Sith Empire will wage a more brutal war, more intense than the Great Galactic War. This time, the Republic and Sith Empire will resort to using doomsday weapons (mentioned in Black Talon FP) and planets will be ravaged. Possibilties will have to be: 1) Revan will have to return to aid the Republic like he did in the Mandalorian Wars and Jedi Civil War (I dont think hes dead) 2) There must some way to end the Sith Emperor's immortality so that way he CAN die. 3) "This isn't clarity and it isn't your responsibility. There's another path." "Listen to yourself: If you use the Foundry to exterminate billions, how are you any better?" These quotes from the Foundry also kinda hint that a certain portion of the Sith Empire will turn away from the Empire and join the Republic, regardless of past crimes to the Republic (in addition to Jaesa dark-sided saying there were "light-sided Sith")
  16. I don't think Revan intentionally wanted to commit genocide against the Sith. Do remember that at the end of "Star Wars: The Old Republic: Revan," when Revan was in stasis for over 300 years by the Emperor, Revan felt the Sith Emperor draining off his power and knowledge and giving him influence, but Revan was also able to do that. Revan's influence on the Sith Emperor: The Treaty of Coruscant The Sith Emperor's influence on Revan: The destruction of all life Lord Vitiate said that Revan can still be of use to him. That's why he kept him in stasis: to drain knowledge of the Republic and Jedi Order, to drain Revan's power for sustenance, and to corrupt him again (since Revan resisted him). Remember, Revan was being influenced by the Emperor for over 300 years and that idea of mass destruction was in his mind. This develops another similar irony to what Revan did during the Mandalorian Wars: mass destruction to destroy the Sith Empire. Revan came outta that stasis half-insane and confused. He ended up mixing his principle to protect the Republic with the mass destruction of all life.
  17. Well, we'll see if Revan is still alive in TOR once Bioware and LucasArts give some sort of update on Revan
  18. Well if there's anything additional that I want to see added to the game that is: 1) Level capacity expanded (WoW's lvl cap. is close to like 80) 2) Trainable abilities not required by money (except the Speeder license) 3) Additional flashpoints pertaining to the warfare between the Sith Empire and Republic - Black Talon mentioned from the General: "They're building doomsday weapons. Republic and Empire are planning to raze worlds, annihilate civilizations." - Plus if the class storylines were all combined, the Treaty of Coruscant was already broken and there should be open warfare.
  19. I defeated Revan at the Foundry, but I didn't think his death would've ended the Cold War (SWTOR). Revan was determined to defeat the Sith Empire, and he's delved deeper into the Force in the Old Republic than any other Jedi or Sith (except the Sith Emperor). And besides, before killing blow, he jumped in the Foundry and disappeared. I don't think he's dead. Or is he? Bioware and LucasArts, will there be more of Revan? I would hate to hear that our Old Republic era hero Revan is dead. He's too awesome to die.
  20. I'm so glad my affection with Jaesa is not ready for romance. She's such a sociopath mass murderer, talking about blood all the time and so emo... -__-
  21. Look I don't agree with the idea of mixing species in each faction or the idae of mixing Force/non-Force abilities with the Force/non-Force user classes either, but I think the Force and non-Force abilities should be mixed between each other, Force abilities between force users and non-Force abilities with non-Force users. I mean, I was even beginning to wonder when my Sith Juggernaut would learn Force Lightning like Sith Inquisitors. Or if I'm gonna have a smuggler be a Force user, he should at least be able to equip himself with a lightsaber and jedi clothes.
  22. I romanced Kira primarily for the reason that sure, we're both Jedi and everything, but still, Jedi not romancing because of the Jedi Code? "There is no emotion, there is peace." Yeah right... -__- Seriously, Jolee Bindo in KOTOR was right. Romancing someone doesn't cause you to fall to the dark side, but love leads to passion, which cause rage and fear, which all 3 can be controlled. Why can't the Jedi ever, ever teach us that to begin with? Instead, the Order goes all radical on us and decree to NEVER fall in love. Anyhow, the romance with Kira seemed so realistic. Bioware and LucasArts did a remarkable job on making her seem like a real person. She's jocular, cautious and brave. I kinda figured in our first talk on the ship, she liked me.
  23. I also enjoyed romancing Kira Carsen. Though it seemed weird that a teacher (me) would romance her as a student, it seemed realistic at first to romance with her. It was like "Avatar": the teacher and student would become something more. I liked how flirtatious and rebellious she is, 'cause we always like rebelling against certain customs of the Jedi Order. Plus, it seemed realistic since we were both Jedi and we were determining whether we should end it or not, but I'm always "No way. I'd rather be expelled from the Jedi Order instead of being away from the girl I love."
  24. One of my favorite romances with the Sith Warrior story (currently a Lvl 44 Juggernaut) was Vette so far. I mean it seemed realistic from the the moment she became a companion. First she was a Twi'lek slave, until I took off her shock collar. Then I help her out on finding her family and preserving it. I mean, I emphathized with her when she was separated from her family and now her family is currently on the Fury. Plus, I'm currently married with her. I was like "Awesome" when I said... "Vette, will you be my wife?" "Yes. Yes and yes!" It was so realistic... *sigh* how does Bioware do such a good job on creating the story for the romances...?
