I disagree, personally. I think they've tried to do a cool thing with the Legacy system, but the implementation has been sketchy at best. The fact is, I have toons on 2 servers, both servers have legacies, and if I can't consolidate them for free somehow, I'm out. Plain and simple. While there are parts of the game I enjoy, and some I have issue with, I had fully intended to play this game for far longer- before launch, I was assuming that meant years. Years of recurring revenue for BW. My subscription is finished in a week or so now. And this is the primary reason. We all know it's possible, and possible to do for free. If they don't do so, it's going to be based on a financially driven business decision. I want them to succeed with this game, but they need to understand that even happy customers have limits, and that they should respect that, and not overreach. tldr; IMO, while I generally prefer the sci-fi setting and specifically the Star Wars IP this game offers, it simply has too much competition to pull this cash grab, if that is indeed their intention regarding transfers, long term. Consolidate legacies for free, kkthx.

Until I get the ability to merge characters and legacies from the 2 servers I have characters on for free, I'll remain unsubscribed. I hope it works out well for the people who stick it with the game, but I feel like this whole thing has been handled so poorly, I can't bring myself to reward EA/BW with my money any longer. Legacy is a pretty neat concept, but it clearly wasn't ready to launch when it did. This is not satisfactory support for such a system.
