  1. Servers: - You could be right about my end. The internet is a finicky thing and differs from location and population. Got it. Thanks. I acknowledge that. Combat: - I understand you may not have to use the abilities. The idea is that if they are there to use, than they are a core component of that class. Refining the ability page to that specific proficiency would be ideal, even if it means scrubbing away some of the moves. - When i mention that classes arent unique, i am referring to Jugg/Mara. - I am talking about the stun chains, knock backs, kicked off your speader type of cc's. It is all unnecessary. Stats: - What do you mean we don't need to dumb it down any more? They added one stat and removed one stat since launch. When did they dumb down stats? I feel as if the remarks i made towards starts were more than reasonable and made complete sense. Combat Proficiency: - Why would i want to re-level the same exact character twice? They wouldn't share achievements, command rank, professions (i.e. Synthweaving) and more. In turn, meaning i would have to grind double hard. No one has the time or patience for that. Now you turned what would be 16 total characters into 30 characters. I am trying to be as constructive as possible with this comment you made, but that is such backwards thinking (no offense). The purpose of switching specs is to fill a role in a group. Flashpoints: - Key point you made is that is reliant on the entire group to hit Spacebar. They have already cut down drastically on cut scenes in the open world. It is time to do the same for FPs. There are a few later FPs that can be rather difficult, especially with lowbies, but it's good to have at least some challenge occasionally. - Some challenge, got it. That is ok, but not make something impossible because the lower level character doesn't have access to most of his moves. Group Finder: - I am trying to wrap my head around what you are saying here. The purpose of options is so that i have the choose to run them. But i cant run them if no one queues for them. Makes sense? - I made my statement above about switching specs.
  2. I am not sure where to place this post since i do not see a feedback section. And what i will be covering encompasses a lot of various Quality of Life changes that i believe needs to be implemented. Without further ad due... Servers: - Constant Lag. servers in general need upgraded. -Stuck in objects constantly and can't move until the game figures out where to place you. This gets many people killed from enemies in certain situations. Combat: - Ability bloat. Combat flow feels awful with certain classes. Using Marauder as an example for a minute, they have too many abilities that do not flow correctly. Will go more in detail about this below. Also, there are abilities not used most frequently. - Give classes a unique feel. They are not unique since they share so many abilities. Like Jugg and Mara. Give each their own unique abilities that relate to the feel of that class. - NPCs. My god do they need to have that many cc's?! They don't need to cc period. It's extremely infuriating, get rid of it! They don't need to cc. Stats: - There are too many stats currently in the game. Reduce the amount of stats to the following: Endurance (of course), Power, Critical, Alacrity, and Mastery (and i believe this stat needs to have a special effect for each class). - Defense stat needs removed and made baseline for all Tanks. This will help reduce the amount of gear we need to switch combat proficiency seamlessly. - Accuracy definitely needs removed. 100% hit will not break the game and needs to also be baseline for all classes. Combat Proficiency: - When switching specs, the places where i had my abilities should be remembered so i don't spend time moving a bunch of abilities around or go back through my ability page to ensure i got them all. - Utilities... (ugh, *shaking head*) What a mess! The choices are all over the place and have no synergy. This sections needs revamped badly. If we have eight choices, break it down to eight sections of three choices that are meaningful. All choices should be related to pve as well. Give pvp a different talent system if need be. Although i don't think it needs one. Flash Points (FP): - Cutscenes are too much and have zero impact on the outcome of the instance. They need removed completely. If a story has to be told, do a voice overlay so we understand what's going on as we run through the enemies. - FP layouts are too big. Groups will do all in their power to avoid many groups of enemies. To speed this process along, either remove the enemies that are skipped the most or find a way to shorten the route from point A to point B. - Certain bosses are still difficult to kill even on VET mode when you have lower level characters on your team due to dps checks. Either reduce the health pool of those certain bosses or/and reduce their damage output. Group Finder: - VET FP is the most ran group finder. If you want other options to be ran, there needs to be better incentives. - In addition with the overhaul of the combat proficiency that i have stated above, maybe more people will be incline to run multi-spec toons. For example, Assassins would be able to switch from DPS to Tank without having to switch gear with the removal of Defense (since it would be a baseline stat for tanks). In conclusion, i hope that a DEV reads this and finds a way to implement these changes. I am always looking for more feedback or criticism on my takes of what QoL improvements are needed.   4. My friend, it's not a connection thing at all. It is a lag in their servers that causes it. Theirs servers they are using are outdated and more than likely not well maintained similar to their website.
  5. Everyone is hung up on the word maintenance I'm concerned more about what you said in the end, "maintain". Is that all we care about, is maintaining the game? Do we not want to make a difference? Do we not want to make change? And most importantly, do we not want to IMPROVE?! Dear Eric, I have posted a new thread under General Discussion.   6. SWTOR I was going to give a back story but I'm going to get down to it... I'm a returning player, and occasionally I'll return here and there to see how the game is doing as I have been a long time Star Wars fan. But, returning this time has really got me upset at the current state of the game. Below I will list items that I feel to be a problem. I also want to state that this was ranked in the top 10 most grossing MMOs today (just information to keep in the back of your mind as we go through some concerns) even though I believe it wasn't stated how much they make exactly. Let's begin: - [ ] Game performance overall. Starts with the high latency while in the game world. (Definitely not my internet) - [ ] Rubber banding. This is a huge issue especially when it comes to pvp. This causes a very poor game experience in which it makes it difficult to enjoy. When doing pve, I don't believe it to be too bad but still exists. - [ ] SWTOR website updates. I scrolled through the website just checking things out and it is has not been kept up with in a very long time. This shows a lack of concern and laziness. Terrible business marketing. What would people think if they want to check out the game but go to the website first and see what the game is like but only outdated content is posted? - [ ] Lack of content. You want people to pay 15 a month for a level 60-70 story line on something that should have been released to a console due to it's only solo play? And the fact that you can't queue for anything while doing the story line. In addition, when you do leave and return, it causes bugs and errors. You took the MMO completely out of the game. - [ ] The Roadmap. I seen your most current one and although people praise it and you get kudos for actually trying to talk to the gamers, it is poor. It does not address serious concerns on fixing this game. It needs a new engine to run this game properly. - [ ] Button clutter. There has been many concerns over too many moves and redundant moves. Class actions need overhauled badly! - [ ] Class balancing. Where to start with this one??? I'll just leave this one as it speaks for itself. And if you truly play this game as you say you do, than you already know. Actually I'll throw cc's in this category. The stop bar is a crap system and outdated. There are way too many slows, roots, stuns, mesmerize, and fears in this game. Follow what WoW did, time to remove a majority of them! In the end, I want this game to excel, really I do. Everything I have stated is true and I posted in hopes that the devs or Keith or not whoever can make a difference with the game, sees it and says "he's right, it's time to make changes!" To get more and more people to return to the game, unfortunately you have to spend money. Please if you guys know of anything I missed, let me know or post it below. If I'm wrong about anything, also please let me know. High hopes and high praises. Let's see some of this come to fruition. Thanks!
  7. This is a very well constructed post and hit on a lot of good points. One thing i wil say is that i know what BW will say and why they wont touch on this is that it would lead to a total game overhaul. Very well thought out but i highly doubt they would redo the game. Although, they really do need to address the forums issue and the burying of all the threads that are important or duplicates. GOOD JOB!
  8. One more note to make... The deadline for the titles is in 6 days and doesnt one of the titles require you to do so many FP's in a week? Not sure of the requirements. Running short on time and still no character copy is frustrating.
  9. I agree completely Metinsith. This whole experience with character copying to the PTS has been completely UNSAT. And, as stated from me before...The community continues to speak and we are not recieving a response. It makes me wonder if and how often they read these forums. The forums are not only just for customers to speak out but also for us to recieve answers. I'm asking one more time for answers on this matter. I filled out the survey enough to where i dont need to continue filling it out because BW makes us believe that we must of made a mistake on it somewhere. I also hear that they stopped with the character copy for now, but they are still promoting on the website...So which is it? Are you still doing it or not? We need answers BW. I will be standing by.
