  1. waiting....................................................................
  2. Whether WoW is 7 years old or not is immaterial. Gaming in MMOs has been around alot longer than 7 years. Everquest, remember that one? There really is NO comparison when it comes down to performance and availability. What BW had, was wisdom based on over 10 years of experience of other gaming companies that did it wrong and paid the price. BW is like a 5 year old child, they had the chance to do it right the first time by taking the experience of older wiser (wiser by virtue of experience) adults. But like the proverbial 5 year old, they stamped their feet, huffed and shouted "I'll do it MY way". Ok, this is "their" way.
  3. Incorrect translation: Servicing company too prideful to admit they fouled up and tries to cover up by giving it's customers, useless pointless responses and then tries to make them like it. Bioware controls the servers. Bioware failed to take into account the popularity of this game. Bioware failed to open up sufficient servers to take the overflow Bioware did not have a plan in place to allow for free transfers of guilds or characters to alleviate the overcrowding.
  4. I think it's casual friendly, but if you think it's keeping out a large potential userbase, then you have some good stuff you're smoking.
  5. Unfortunately, to answer your question, the only thing about the game that is warrantied is the media it's provided on. If you read the TOS and the disclaimers that come with 99.9% of all software packages, there is no warranty in fact or implied. The only real thing you can do is deny them anymore funds. Someone in BW needs to remember that the customers aren't an inconvenience. They ARE the reason they are in business.
  6. Another stroke of brilliance from another fanboi.
  7. Better yet, don't even List the servers that are full, that way the newcomers can join the light to medium servers and fill them up. A little bit of coding can do that just fine and it's NOT rocket science.
  8. Then I suggest YOU people starting pooping Free Transfers as of yesterday. WE as a Guild did not choose this server, YOU as a company PUT us there.
  9. lol, boy you can tell this is an EA games undertaking, that much is for sure and for certain.
  10. People are demanding service that they paid for. Here's an idea for you, go buy a product that you want to use right now, that costs about 60.00. Let's see how long it will take you to return it when it does not perform as expected. Now before you start throwing out accusations about how "childish" others are acting, perhaps you should look in the mirror. Only those who are losing arguments based on logic are the ones that begin degrading others.
  11. Let's try to lighten this up a bit, I know folks are frustrated about this, I am too, but while waiting in a queue last night, inspiration hit me. It's nothing that will take me to Nashville, but it gave me a bit of an outlet for said frustration, and it's even a wee bit funny. I hope this helps some of you laugh a bit. Enjoy --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- QUEUES (sung to the Tune Goober Peas, an old Civil War era song) Queues queues, queues queues waitin in the queues goodness how annoying waitin in the queues Bioware ignores it as if it don't exist, the customers are pissed off and shake their balled up fist there isn't a thing annoying quite so much as to, spend your hard earned money waitin in a queue Queues queues, queues queues waitin in the queue goodness how annoying waitin in the queue got the guild arriving for a day of play, in the flashpoint esseles now we're on our way halfway through the session disconnect or crash back in line awaitin they can kiss my *** Queues queues, queues queues waitin in the queue goodness how annoying waitin in the queue I wish these queues were over and that we could play never have I experienced waitin in queues all day must be something special about this silly game we spend our time awaitin cussin EA's name! Queues queues, queues queues waitin in the queue goodness how annoying waitin in the queue
  12. No, you're wrong, the 60.00 was for a product to play, when you cannot use the product as it was designed to be used, you are not getting what you paid for in the contract. Charging for access hasn't started yet, but that has no bearing on the original contract. Once the subscription time starts, that starts a NEW contract. If BW wants to open their servers for people to play early, that is THEIR choice, not the customers. But if they do that, then they are bound by the original contract to provide the service that was their duty to provide on said original contract.
  13. Stop QQing the QQuers and choose a different thread.
  14. This one cannot be repeated often enough. Well said.
  15. Who died and made you forum monitor?
  16. With the sole exception that when they set the guilds into the game, Bioware, not the Guild Leaders or Guild members as a whole decided what server they were going to be on. So your statement that "you aren't forced to queue for a full server" is incorrect. Sure, the guild could split up and go to different servers and start over again. But more like as not the guilds will just start to leave instead of putting up with that. Several already have.
  17. Come time to pay if there's a queue 30 seconds long, it will be too long. That's not what we will be paying for.
  18. Your entire statement here is badly flawed. You billed your entire "play early" campaign on the promise that spending our hard earned dollars (marks, dinero whatever), on your product would gaurantee us the ability to "play the game early". I don't recall anything in your advertisement that even hinted at having to wait in line to get into the playground. If this situation remains when you begin to ask for a monthly subscription, then you can bet your bippy skippy, that there will be folks that won't buy into it.
