  1. It would be nice if, when loot drops, instead of showing what everyone picks in the chat window, there was a table for that particular item, and that table is what is linked to in chat. So, for example, [item A] drops. Instead of seeing: [item A] Drops Player1 selects need on [item A] Player2 selects greed on [item A] (...so on through Player 8) Player1 rolls 45 on [item A] Player4 rolls 64 on [item A] (...so on for every player that rolls) Player4 wins the roll for [item A] Player4 loots [item A] We see in chat: [item A] Drops Player4 wins [item A] But also a table pops up with who selected need/greed/pass, and of those who selected the highest, what they each rolled. After closing the window, clicking the item pops the table back up if you want to see it again. This way, people could actually use chat while loot rolls are happening.
  2. I agree. -Darkening abilities on GCD and flashing abilities when GCD is up hurts my ability to see what will be ready. -Highlighting abilities that are on CD makes it harder to see what is up, and only highlights those that are on CD. -Cyan is my favorite color and you took it away from CDs.
  3. It was especially odd because when I bought two of the same mission (because I wasn't sure if it would be like inscription books in *that other game* where you learn random missions), it said "you already know this mission." Well, that's good to know. I'd rather just buy the mats off the trade system than buy the mission again. I think they should stay once you've learned them...otherwise what is the point?
  4. I got some BoE missions off the trade market, and haven't seen them pop back into the queue for my companions to use. Are these missions only available once, and I have to use the item again to unlock them, or is it just that the RNG isn't bringing these missions up, and I have to wait for them to come back into the queue?
  5. I think the point is that pretty much everything else costs to level, and you get your money back through the economy. On the other hand, slicing is simply send pet - get money. That's the issue I see.
  6. It wasn't bad when I started out, but now my missions are quite a bit longer than what I had expected them to be. I'm trying to figure out if it is because: -I need affection with my companions. But I don't believe this to be the case, because I have 2599 affection with one companion and 0 with the other, and they both have the same mission times. (Or is it once I get to 10k affection, I start over at Level 2 or something)? -I'm level 29 and these missions are level 33-40. -Could it be that the more I do the missions, the longer they take? I'm just wondering, because it doesn't seem like it should take 35 minutes for my companion to run my crew skills. It's not so bad when it's my droid, but it means I can't just send my tank companion out when I go to the city, unless I'm planning on logging to an alt for a bit.
  7. I just have a few questions regarding the space missions: 1. Are ray-shielded targets (blue pulse) immune to blaster fire, or just highly resistant? 2. I see in a lot of the tips that you're supposed to "avoid fire from turrets" or "avoid ion fire". How does one actually avoid incoming fire? I thought it hit you no matter what (similar to how your blasters lead the target automatically). 3. Does anyone know where there's list of the hidden bonus missions? 4. How much does the Power Conversion Module actually affect your blasters/shields in each state (I know that in the blaster mode, shield regen is cut by half, but all of the other descriptions are vague). Thanks in advance!
  8. I would like to pick a crafting skill that will benefit my ship. Which skill should I choose?
  9. That's dumb, I've never had a game do that before. Honestly, I shouldn't have to change my button that I use for my VOIP program (which runs fine with every other game I play) just because TOR doesn't know how to make a modifier optional.
  10. I tried unbinding everything that had "ctrl" bound to it, but some things are still bound (i.e. "ctrl+a") which I cannot find in the preferences menu.
  11. I have two simple questions: 1. I run games with 2 monitors, in Full Screen (Windowed) mode if possible. When I am working on programs on my other monitor, the sound turns off. How can I set it so that the sound plays while TOR is in the background? 2. My push to talk key in ventrilo is Ctrl, and has been for years. When I push Ctrl while in-game, a lot of my options seem to go away. Is there a way I can turn Ctrl as a modifier off? Or will I have to bind everything with Ctrl+(button) as my second option?
