  1. Completely non-viable as both trees are so top-loaded, unfortunately. Would have liked for more options for hybridization as snipers, sorcs get some cool ones but oh well. As for the guy who says he does it and "does fine in pve and pvp"... he doesn't.
  2. Not sure that I would like to see 1 stun trigger immunity, although I would much rather it work such that any left-over resolve removes from the timer of the CC instead of make you immune longer (currently, if you're 800/1000 resolve, and get stunned for 4 seconds, you'll eat the full stun but end up being 1600/1000 resolve, thus immune for longer). Basically that would make it more like what we're used to from past games, i.e. after eating a 4 second stun, the next stun would only last for 1 second max (as you'd have 200 resolve "left"), and then you'd be immune after that second short stun. I think this is also a contributing factor to the "resolve rage", because you'll eat full stuns with your resolve bar full the entire time, so it appears to be non-working/broken.
  3. Leaps that stun add 200 resolve per second of stun, it would only be fair for roots to add resolve as well were this to be implemented IMO, part of the strategy of huttball is not using CC at the wrong time and triggering the opponents immunity. If they walk across the goal line immune that should be your teams fault, at least that's how I look at it. Now that I understand how resolve works I actually think it's a pretty good system, but roots are the missing component that kind of breaks the whole thing right now to me
  4. Title pretty much says it all. Currently, roots both add no resolve, and work even on people with white/"full" resolve bars (i.e. immune to CC). I think this is probably the biggest reason people think resolve is broken, a terrible mechanic, etc., and is the source of most of the anguish involving CC in PVP currently. Roots are very powerful, arguably the second most powerful form of CC in the game, and in my opinion really need to be included in the games resolve mechanic. I'd say adding 100 resolve per second (on par with mez) would be fair, or 50 per second for roots that break on damage.
  5. it's fine, not as good as operative but fine. the biggest problem is the spammable rapid shots heal via support cylinder is a dead giveaway and will have the enemies on you in no time, so it's probably advisable to not even use it even though it actually is pretty decent later on
  6. Crit seems to have a hard cap of 50% with harsh DR after 45%ish, which makes the adrenal less useful imo. with IA buff I'm already getting close to 40% so the amount the crit adrenal gives doesn't seem to be as much as the power one. Same story for surge only surge seems hard capped at 100%
  7. I'm kind of thinking Blizz as he's the only one who can straight up use all of your old gear as it becomes available, Torian/Skadge are a pain in the *** as they have these weapons that ONLY they use so you have to go do dailies to get them rating 112 (or 116?) weapons and aside from craftable hilts that's as good as they'll ever get. Whereas my Blizz already has a spare 136 mainhand and a ton of other 126/136 spare parts. Gault/Mako use medium armor and again that causes issues, have to either get the welfare epics from flashpoints/operations or craft or stuff. Not sure if Gault could still do more damage than Blizz or what though really, haven't tested.
  8. no thanks, fusion missile is the same as every other skill, totally boring. reroll.
  9. skill obviously matters but saying it's 0% or 100% is about as much of a blanket statement as saying gear either doesn't matter at all or is everything. Class balance is class balance, go tell marauders that it's just them being bad at their class and see what kind of responses you get.
  10. juke interrupt with fusion or concussion missile is the big one if you're arsenal, as tracer missle lockouts are very bad. aside that pretty much try and get your rotation in as much as possible, whenever you're using instant casts be sure to be running away (aside some specific situations like against sorc/sage where you want to be close for knockback interrupts and distance doesn't matter)
  11. pointless to not use pyrotech for leveling up, at least to 30-40. the other trees (arsenal included) basically do noting for you up until then anyway
  12. vocal minority go go go. the tracer missile is one of the only interesting animations we have, I'll be severely pissed if they change it. spec pyro if you dont like it.
