  1. Fully agree. Pointless atm till/if a whole new expansion with BC amount content is released..which shouldnt be for a few years/year
  2. Simply put. If you spend time gathering a community, learning tactics, achieving things that others can't. You should get the best items in the game, this system is in every rpg, mmo, fps you name it. If you don't want to raid/dungeon/ranked pvp grind at 50...i find it weird that you want the equivilant gear from what is essentialy a timesink..not a progression of skill. ...what do you do in an mmo at endgame that isnt strive to get best gear and achieve as much as possible? make an alt? go do that then..give the raiders the gear they want because they keep communities going. Don't change a system that is common sense Care bear mmos dont last because everyone walks around with a sense of achievement of the same thing..so the competitive edge disapears.swtor is great but it needs to stick to some core principles and not try to please the care bears.. What i dont understand is what people who don't raid would use the gear for at 50? that sounds much more epeen (ooh look at me mincing about the fleet with my new shiny armor) instead of using that gear to kill bosses and unlock content....gg bioware
  3. Theres really no excuse for not fixing this in a weekly patch. I was Q&A tester for SCEE (Sony) for some years and if i submitted a bug for a class B statistics error in a build; the next few days the new build would have the statistics bug fixed. What is your excuse as to why 1.1.1 won't have this change? seriously that is either just stubborness or sheer laziness. It could be fixed in 1.1.0c and I could come round and do it myself!! Its a simple simple change that effects everyone in a positive way(the way you wanted it to be originally). You've given the community a few new bosses in KP, which is great..but the rewards that can be obtained from said KP are surely under the same catagory in an update. Stop pretending that this isnt a priority. Loot is really the only reason people raid the same instance over and over. Loot Errors for Endgame = Priority If you cant handle simple errors weekly either get a bigger staff or focus on the weekly patchs atm rather than the monthly until its sorted out. For the Illum exploit you did an emergency patch (oh noes exploits) so don't tell me you couldnt quickly add this to your to do list for a weekly maint NO EXCUSE BIOWARE
  4. Something i noticed in OPs. We're so short cooldown heavy to make the big hit ( proc charge, aim, trick, speedshot opener etc) that having to get out of cover and run then set up again our short cooldowns have reset so we can do big hits in that time consitantly. Now granted if we were stationary we could do a lot more consistant dmg, but I dont feel like we're sapping the group if i dont have to move I will out dps most of group. If i do have to move like i said before, we can at least consitantly hit our opener over and over which helps. Defensive, Cover screen and dodge have really paid off for me too. If you feel like you're dragging the group down (which is an honorable trait to even consider that) then over prepare for ops more then you would. Biochem helps ofc, but I have made an alt to craft me the blue tier Skill stim and Adrenals, its really not that expensive compared to buying pots in wow at ah (I'm sure you know all this but just adding info to thread) The most useless i have felt is not in OPs but in Hardmode Esseles Vokk fight. Get in cover..LIGHTING..get out of cover..set up for cover LIGHTNING..garrrgh
  5. I disagree. I prefer it being the current way. All im missing is some jukebox music in the rep fleet most of the tim anyway. and i wouldnt start browsing the web while watcing a cutscene. BW please keep this the same
  6. I didnt mean the Rakata Tokens i meant the Columni ones. yes Currently the tier 3 are a joke. but you can get random Columni tokens in hard mode. which is where i saw the main hand token

He drops the Chrome Plated Killer Kneecapper is Purchased (imo the best purchase for value) in Tionese Vendor I have both the guns you mention and they are great until i get pve tier 2 weapons You can get your main Token in Hardmode EV but I assume can (dont quote me on it) drop in EV Normal not seen it yet Battle of Illum will get you your Offhand Tier 2 Token

If Rage is the Endurance +Accuracy +Power thats the one I use (cant remember as offline because of server down) that is what I have used for my GS SS Build Im currently 9000 Ranged Max dmg unbuffed with nearly full Columni Field Tech Gear Also looking at Field Tech Columni Gear you can see it uses the same Secondary Stats on its Enhancments I would say Focus on Acc+Power
  9. Its the Percentage chance of it occuring after you leave Cover 1 = 50% 2 = 100% I've found Cover Screen pretty useful in Hardmodes where you need to get in and out of cover effectively
  10. huttball for spam dmg and cc fire kills (ha) but voidstar for challenge and using your skills not a fan of alderaan, find the republic on our server just racking up kills rather than tactics. so we lose a lot.obviously there are exceptions but generally
  11. no because it interupts capturing or planting bomb. its very useful if you stop 1 player and their mates jump you. that tick will still keep them from being able to capture while your fighting. i wouldnt use it in huttball though, except on stealthies.
  12. no. would only consider using it if i spent my last 2 points in the second row of sab to get the 15% increase..but couldnt max it anyway unless you skip df crit 6&. waste of energy for sharp imo.
  13. yes but i was referring to sab before level 35 (the level i switched) after lvl 40 with incin grenade im sure its great but it wont out do single target marksman for goldies. I found you could outlast better though with Sab like the quest something czserka found on tat, easy to solo with sab but im glad i switched, fights are very quick now. i suppose the great thing is that bioware have allowed preference over musts. although we'll see how that lasts in ops
  14. when you start to get the hang of your dps rotations and managing cooldowns. at endgame you are wasting golds on your own while the rest of group are zerging another. the sheer speed that you can clear groups is amazing if played right. my jedi guardian starts strong but eventually its just a low dps sustain till i build enough rage. GS can sustain high dps consitantly if played right speedshot with flourish shot is just amazing when specced properly. it doesnt look like much but it cuts though mobs like butter and when you hit it 3 times with Rapid fire! its brilliant. yeah cover is bugged..but most ppl have found a very effective work around. the rolling into cover i find dangerous anyway in flashpoints and pve so crouch works much behind the natural cover anyway. i love it im became a gunslinger fan boy Maybe not everyones cup of tea. but the less of you there are the more lootage for me. thanks
  15. All i know is it keeps me alive for a bit long and combined with dogde is fantastic! love using it to frustrate shadows
  16. I would suggest Accuracy as priority to get past to 100 at least. then crit and surge. so crit over power
  17. Yeah i level with Sab up to 35 then switched to Marksman and gold elites were a trouble of the past. Ppl might disagree but i would say for endgame pve Marksman seems the best build for sustained dps in my experience. ofc without combat dummys i will never know...

Hello I was wondering if there are any online well laid out guides or information (suggested order) or any listed information about Level 50 Normal/Hard ModeFlashpoints Not really sure what to focus on at 50. although did BOI and FE on normal. which im guessing was the right order for story. but i want to boost my gear and experience everything. So any walkthroughs or order listings etc Cheers
  20. Considering im level 50 and have only managed to get into group for 2 noraml lvl50 fp's i would say that a Dungeon finder for PUG is better than nothing. Why do people say no to Dungeon finders? i bet if you used play wow you would look back and realise that progress for gear was a lot quicker (ok a few douchbags here and there) but at least you had the opportunity to be able to actually run the dungeon in the first place. which is not happening right now and im sitting like a mug in general. and if you dont like pugs then sit like a mug in general till you eventually find someone who could be just as big a tool. All a dfinder does is improve your chances to actually get a go at a dungeon. the best thing about wows dungeon finder was the loot threshold. so when you were doing heroics you know you werent getting complete green set tanks etc. Which had some credibility just based on what loot they wore (ie they understood what they needed to do to get in) I did heroic esseles the other day the first time we wiped on first boss a few times. The 2nd time we ran it, we completed it. Now was that the first groups gear/lack of understanding of tactics? maybe but the second group and myself were all in lvl 120min gear and did enough dps to beat the enrage timers. you cant do that in a pug not knowing what loot ppl have got etc and tbh you cant afford to be picky considering the rarity. don't see the problem tbh other than a few ppl having tainted experiences with it.

  22. Although you make some good points. I think there are a lot of new to mmo players this time round purely because of the franchise..who wanted swish swish rather than pew pew...their loss:cool:
  23. i've been using Risha. She does the most damage, which means you can both just spank an elite. not very good against two silvers though.
