  1. Actually anyone in business knows that manipulating Fiscal financial result reports is a criminal offense. Ergo. You're not in business. You may want to get used to the idea that this game is a success.
  2. yeah 1,700,000 players after the first month is SUCH a flop. Sorry mate. It's called "biggest success in the history of the MMORPG market"
  3. You're the one trying to spin it. He's talking about ACTIVE subscibers. And it says clearly that the game sold more than two million copies. Unless you somewhat assume that 300000 people bought the game but didn't activate it (which is absolutely ludicrous), your theory sinks. They retained 1,700,000 copies. And you're mad.
  4. Wouldn't he be even more out of touch if he just got granted an automatic level 50 and didn't have to level up with everyone else? There isn't only endgame in the game.
  5. I don't think it's to be excluded to have smaller ships in addition to our main one. No one says we can have only one no?
  6. I don't know many games in which devs are given automatic 50s in the live servers. It's considered bad form and unfair to the customers. he plays on the dev servers as well, and in there I'm quite sure he can have all the 50s he want.
  7. Oh yeah. I don't think there's even one soul that disagrees with this.
  8. It's an obvious troll. The class played by *one* bioware dev is hardly of consequence.
  9. because of course ONE bioware devs playing a sith sorcerer is a determining factor in class balance, RIGHT? Lol
  10. Better than "yes, we know, and we won't do crap" I guess.
  11. Yeah, because ONE bioware Dev playing a sith sorc obviously creates a biased advantage for the class. Because the team isn't formed by hundred of people Now you'll tell me that you know for a fact that they ALL play sith sorcerers
  12. First expansion: "SWTOR: Jump to Lightspeed" You heard it here first
  13. Some people need a good dictionary. The ability delay is not game breaking (the game works) doesn't make the game unplayable (you can play the game fully). Hyperbole is the worst enemy of civilized conversation.
  14. No to a threat meter. It's a crutch that removes any kind of challenge. I don't know about you, but when I play a game I don't just want to follow the on-screen instructions. Sometimes a bit of mental involvement isn't that bad.
  15. So basically let's remove an element of challenge to avoid group wipes? Group wipes are part of a MMORPG's gameplay. I don't really see a reason to give players a further crutch to avoid them. It's not like this is a difficult game to begin with.
  16. Then they should die, and learn from their mistakes, instead of getting a crutch that allows them to just follow the on screen instructions for impunity
  17. Not sure about this one. While it's nice to be able to queue with guilds and friends, keeping the queue to the 4 people party size ensures a level of randomness that levels the playing field a little bit. Being able to go in with 8 people all on vent/mumble every single time is basically a 99% ensured victory, and a frustrating massacre for everyone on the other side. While PUGing is not preferable, it should't be made completely not viable, and this would probably achieve exactly that.
  18. You, sir, are gonna be flamed by the WASD lovers/Eastern MMORPG haters. I, on the other hand, support this proposal. The more control methods the better.
  19. Combat log, yes. Aggro meter, no. it's just a crutch and removes any real skill from tanking. It goes from a matter of perception and experience to simply following the on-screen instructions.
  20. Just thought of another. I love how my sith warrior looks at Dark Side corruption 2, but past that (when the skin starts to become dirty/veiny) i just hate it. I don't like too much to have to revert to "vanilla" conditions too. IMHO a good way would be giving us a slider to set our maximum threshold of visualized corruption. For instance if i set it to 2, even if my character goes past 2, it would still show 2 on his face. It would work much better than the current yes/no toggle. An alternative would be to split the toggle between eyes and skin. IE: Show skin corruption yes/no and Show eyes corruption yes/no. This would allow us to make our eyes glow without getting our face look like we have the plague and the other way around
  21. Too bad that Bioware isn't doing most voice overs. Lucas Arts is providing them. /thread
  22. Can I have your stuff? I promise I'll share it with the vast majority that will remain and the many that will come.
  23. I have them, and they do have a relaxing effect to me. They take a bit to get used to, though.
  24. And what exactly do you know about how much they spent in the endgame content? Writing hot air isn't exactly conducive to discussion.
