I have a question on the Saber Marshal set (the orange set). I have the chestpiece, and the legs (trying to figure out where the heck to get the other pieces.. please chime in if you have ideas of where to grind for them) I found the headpiece off the AH. Not at level yet (its a level 27 headpiece) so its in the bank. My understanding is the Inquisitor mask we get off the storyline takes off the hood on hooded chest pieces when work. Does the Saber Marshal headpiece do the same? Thanks

Is there some sort of penalty for lower level players if a higher level player groups with them?

Thanks. For gear (for leveling up) - I am working on the Saber Marshal set (so far have the chest and legs, and bought the head off the AH and can use that when I hit lvl 27). To make sure I understand, what you are recommending is I get the formal set for everything else until I can find better alternatives - and then for all the stuff if I find mod/enhacements with the tanky stuff (absorb, shield, or defense) throw that into as many pieces that have slot as I can (assuming also on the lightsaber?), and then for the others do the endurance/willpower thing. Then the other items (implants, ear, etc) use the same thought? (tanky stuff if available, and otherwise endurance/wisdom) and for offhand shield and not force focus? Thanks (dumb question - people say when leveling solo 'fights are longer than with a dps build'... and given I do have less DPS that makes snese.. but is the difference really all that significant? for trash mobs we are probably talking a few seconds and for bosses probably a little more?)

I'm a total newb when it comes to tanking.. so pardon the dumb questions. Regarding gear, what is it that I should be looking for to have as I level up? what about for end game? Thanks

How much higher (for my level) than the quest level does it make the quest go gray?

I am a PvE player but was looking at the PvP commendation vendors, and some of the stuff looked real interesting for PvE. Is there any specific PvP gear you recommend to get as level up for a PvE build? I'm thinking some of the relics, or even some of the armor (or perhaps the armor to pull mods off)?

This would be for PvE mostly. Do some limited PvP just for a break here and there.

Hi - I've always played straight up DPS builds on past games, but considering doing a tank here for some flavor (on SWTOR end game, are tanks something groups always are looking for?). Leveling up (mostly doing the class/side quests and a bit of soloing), do you recommend leveling up as one of these builds, or leveling up more of a DPS build and then switching over? Is the leveling up really that much slower (as some have indicated in some of the threads I've read) if I take a tanking route, or is the difference really negligible? Thanks

I've been very undecided whether to go Deception or Madness. Is there some sort of Deception/Madness hybrid spec any of you folks have found effective/fun? (and if so, could you give me some info as well as tips on in what order to allocate the points?)

I am currently level 19 and didnt think through point allocation very well up to now. After beating my head against the wall many many days trying to decide what spec to use, I think I am going to give the Deception 'Chain Shock' spec a try. I am currently undecided between leveling up as deception or madness. (originally was thinking deception but reading through the forums it seems a lot of folks are having a lot of fun with madness). I was wondering what builds you folks recommend, as well as any other options or variations from the ones listed on the stickied assasin's codex. If deception iwas thinking the chain shock build (for those of you that tried it, what did you think?), if madness it only lists one so I was wondering if there were more variations or that's really the best.
