So people are starting to leak pictures of the CE vendor contents. And I have to say, it's kind of looking like the CE owners got screwed over.
The vendor's been the big "sell" for alot of people, as noone knew what was in it, and a number of unique cosmetic sets were implied to have been in there.
What we have now is a single set revealed on the Imperial side of things, Imperial Trooper armor. A bunch of customization items that are shared with the $6.50 Authenticator vendor, and maybe, a pet. So really, not much of anything unique at all.
This seems kind of...Unfinished, for what was talked about, don't you think? And if not that, misleading. I can guarantee you that most people didn't buy the CE for the Malgus statue, which can actually already be purchased independent of the collection, thanks to it not being that exclusive. So it's not much of a "collectors" item.
Do the vendors cycle? Or is this just not a finished feature yet? It'd be interesting to figure out what's going on.
Also, people with massive entitlement issues ("YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR LOL", "Why are you complaining about that thing with the feature that they kept discussing at the cons, grow up!".) need not bother posting. That sort of immaturity isn't why this topic is here. The point is to figure out what the CE vendors contain for certain, and why.
Quick Edit: Here's some pics of the Imperial side CE vendor.

UPDATE!: I just got my CE, and checked the CE vendor. And I have to say that i've gone from curious about this, to ticked, having seen what's there. These are the only items there:
One Corso Riggs Customization item (7)
Hutt Observer Pet
Republic Officer social armor set
One T7 Customization Item (7)
To say that that's horrible is an understatement. What happened to every class getting a unique look? What happened to, well, not needing to not needing to read the future to get items that other classes would want to use?
This had seriously better not be the finished product.
