  1. It's looking like Keith is a straight shooter, got to respect that.
  2. How do they reward the loyal subscribers? Give us HK crap that I immediately trash. Thanks for making me really feel valued.
  3. Are they trying to alienate us and push us away?
  4. Still broken. What a super promotion. Stay subscribed for an item you won't be able to receive.
  5. I am so disappointed with how disconnected leadership is with the community on this decision. This is just disheartening for them to be so off on something. The message I am receiving is my time doesn't matter. Affection changes, fine, do whatever...but penalize my achievement score and erase all of the work I did? Achievements should not be erased, bottom line. I have major trust issues with this game right now. Please make me feel confident that whatever I do going forward won't be erased. I am truly sitting here evaluating if I am going to waste another minute's investment into an achievement system that lacks merit.
  6. Hey Eric Musco, do you foresee you guys taking anything else away from me that I've spent multiple hours of energy, effort, passion and credits on? This has clearly sent a message that achievements are subject to change and ultimately not worth doing. This really cheapens the experience and discredits much of the work we have done.
  7. Just wanted to say thanks for putting that together. That was my 1st OWPVP event and I had a blast. I was able to get 1/3 of the Oricon Scare Bear Achievement done and I was able to get the 100 PvP kills on Yavin achievement. Dirtyratz was our group leader and I thought he did a great job. I'm looking forward to the next event.
  8. This is encouraging news. I think we are trending in the right direction. I would've loved to do some new ops, but the truth is I haven't done 80% of the current ops, so they will be just like new to me and many others. There is so much existing content that can be refined and improved. It makes more sense to take what you have and improve it. That said, I do look forward to the New Ops when they come out. I am assuming sometime around early 1st quarter 2016.
  9. Honestly, thanks for the laughs. To think the "culture" on The Shadowlands has been taken hostage by the POT5. That is good stuff.
  10. You're a good guy Tux. I've been reading and following your posts and I really appreciate all of the time, energy and passion you put into the game. Thanks for being a leader and a voice of reason, I'll be looking for you on The Harbs.
  11. Tux, I emailed my referral link to my buddy. He clicked it and it said he already has an account. He has a SWTOR user account and profile, but he hasn't played in a couple years. He said it looked like he had to download the game so he didn't do it because his computer doesn't have the available memory space. After reading your post it sounds like all I have to do is click anyone's link and I get the transfer? I thought I had to refer someone to the game. Any help is appreciated as I am slowly dying on POT5. Thanks for your assistance.
  12. I am also on POT5 and I am in the same situation. The Harbinger, The Shadowlands and Jedi Covenant. Those are the 3 servers I am wrestling with. The Harbinger would be the obvious choice because it has the highest population, but the lag is what concerns me. The server goes down from time to time, maybe once or twice a month if what I've been reading is true. The Shadowlands appears to be slightly more populated than Jedi Covenant. What I've read suggests that JC has a better GTN and possibly more structure with guilds and groups. Its all from different points of view, not my own. I've already created a test toon on The Harbs and its population blew me away. 6-7 times greater than POT5, at the very least. Next will be Shaddowlands. I'm checking for population, server lag and activity. If I am disappointed with SL, next is JC. I will continue to read Reddit and these forums as road maps to help me get to my destination. There's a good experience out there somewhere fellow POT5'ers, we just have to find it.
  13. Great idea. You could look out the windows and see some crazy sea creatures. Could even make it multi level above and below water.
  14. Just wanted to communicate the findings from my experience last night. I logged on to POT5 at 8pm EDT on Thursday June 4th. There were about 87 people on the Imperial side of the Fleet. I created an Agent on The Harbinger, leveled him up to get to the Fleet so I could see the Imperial population comparison. At 11pm EDT on the Harbinger there were 2 instances. 1st instance had 175 people on it and the other had consistently over 160 people on it. Logged off The Harbinger at 1am EDT and the numbers were still 2 instances with over 350 total people on the Imperial side. Logged on to POT5 at 1am EDT. 1 instance with 52 total Imperials on the Fleet. Friend went over to Republic side and found there were a total of 26 Republic characters logged in. Needless to say, The Harbinger has about 6 times the population of POT5. Hope this helps anyone who is looking to breath life back into their experience.
  15. Thanks for the insight, any feedback is appreciated. I did a great deal of reading today and have been trying to keep my finger on the pulse. TUX's, The Harbinger would be my first choice because of the high population, but I'm scared of the server lag issues I hear of. Living out East won't make my lag on a West coast server any better. I'm really wrestling with Jedi Covenant & The Shadowlands and which is better. They seem very similar. The Shadowlands appears to have a slight increase in server population during the times I prefer to play (6pm EST -2am EST all week), but the Jedi Covenant seems to have a better economy and possibly more guild activity. I'm sure either is a good choice, but I want to make the perfect choice...lol. As for PvP hate...try not to stereotype. I am a gamer and enjoy all the facets of the game. When I feel like changing gears that exactly what I do. It doesn't mean PvP is better than PvE or vice versa.
  16. I would love to go to a server with The Harbinger's population, but I am hesitant. I've heard the talk of the Harbinger Hamster and the connectivity/ server lag issues so that is a concern. Add in the fact that it is a West Coast Server and I live in the East and it probably makes the lag greater. I haven't heard any talk of The Harbinger being elitist or rude, but that doesn't mean it isn't true. (I'd be willing to bet its common everywhere, unfortunately) The more I read in regards to servers the more I'm leaning towards Jedi Covenant and The Shadowlands, but I'm still shopping.
  17. POT5 here. Our server population is in a steady decline and I just don't see it making a comeback. Why would any new player invest in a dying server? I believe a few other servers are in the same shape. The time to merge is now, not later. Later is inevitable, so why not be proactive and do it now? Preserve the existing population you have by merging them into an active server. The fact that people can't see that this merge will eventually happen is just being naive. You are only delaying the inevitable. (Eventually it won't be cost effective to keep a dead server open) THAT SAID, I am currently server shopping. I have it narrowed down to Jedi Covenant, The Shadowlands and The Harbinger. I love to PvE, PvP, craft and even achievement hunt. To me, all of that is what makes the game. Not having access to raid groups, pug groups, consistent wz/ ranked pop's affects my experience. Bioware has made it clear they are reactive, not proactive in their business philosophy. This won't cause me to quit this game yet, but it will make me cautious of investing in their products in the future. (see relationship marketing) The bottom line is: I am not enjoying my experience as much as I could/ should and I need to make a change.
  18. Your patience? Hahaha, couldn't resist bud...sorry.
  19. I think you are right. I am still convinced the movie release and all of its marketing will breathe new life back into this game. Add the 12xp and the energy it has created in that equation as well. Closing a server could create the perception that the game is trending in the wrong direction. I think the powers at be are waiting to see how many more "fish" the increased campaign nets and they will make a decision once they "cross that bridge."
  20. I feel like we are being held hostage. Who has the control here? We play these games to have an enjoyable experience and this is something that is affecting all of our experiences. This needs to stop.
  21. I've been reading on Reddit and that seems to be standard procedure on these boards. However, I do not think BW has control over the boards on Reddit. The discussion is thriving over there as well.
