  1. There are wookiee NPC's in game with dialogue and they just go "arrrgh blarrrgh uggg" with English subtitles. Not sure what the issue is here. They should be in the game as a playable race and it's not a hard thing to get around.
  2. Is there a plan to make sorting work, or is this going to stay broken forever?
  3. This game had 2 million subs on day one. Logic: 2 million in subs in one day means 2 million subs per day. We're three months in, what's that....180 million subs now? This has to be the most successful MMO, nay most successful business venture, of all time. And all this without combat logs or lfd!
  4. How is this even a subject for debate? Dozens of other games have addressed and fixed this issue.
  5. There are pros and cons, but I'd have to say no. I can break it down into three areas. 1. Weird/unfinished design features. The item filters on vendors don't work. That's a small thing but it shows a great deal of carelessness. There's no way to filter and organize your crafting list. The GTN is frustrating to say the least. How about I just type "Chanlon" and get the results for chanlon? NO YOU MUST FOLLOW MULTIPLE STEPS AND THEN FIND CHANLON AMONG ALL SCAVENGED MATERIALS. 2. The TV commercials show a different game. I'm looking for some meaningful large scale battles. Why is it that each TV commercial for SWTOR shows a hundred lightsabers appear and a massive battle follows? Is this happening while the rest of us are questing in a mostly solo game? Please don't tell me it's Ilum. 3. It's the same old grind. Not everyone wants to go through the slog of dealing with guild drama and scheduling their lives around a game (again) just to access the content. Warzones are 10-49, but flashpoints are restricted by level...why not let flashpoints scale like warzones? Sure, give the raiders their exclusive endgame, but give the rest of us something to do with our higher or lower level friends. GW2 is going to address this...take heed Bioware. This isn't 2004 and not everyone wants to repeat the last 10 years of gaming. Innovate at least a tiny bit to survive. I'm not going to keep subbing because everything takes forever, I'm going to keep subbing because the game is fun. For balance, here are some pros: I do love the companion and crew skill systems. I love that it's a Star Wars game. Warzones can be fun when they're not a complete steamroll. The classes are interesting and fun to play.
  6. Fans don't see Fans blow air do you see what I did there
  7. Once upon a time an mmo stopped matching premades against pugs. Many years later, another mmo came out and acted like this never happened. The end.
  8. Can a map just be a map? I'm sitting here bouncing around taxi points like a ping pong ball trying to figure out where my quest actually is. Does there have to be multiple map pages? It's not like these zones are big. If I want to play spirograph I'll play spirograph.
  9. I don't mind arenas, and I don't mind if you get amazing gear from it, as long as you can't take that arena gear into warzones. You guys are cool with that, right?
  10. I guess we'll find out the real story when Tiggs blogs about it. Oh wait........
  11. But MMOs aren't new. Would you hire an architect whose last building fell down because he didn't pay attention to any of the precedents set in the long history of construction? "Maybe I should've used some mortar with those bricks...and that wood frame, maybe it should've been nailed together"
  12. You're into bears ey? That Hutt icon gives it away
  13. This. SWG had a spectacular space combat/pilot/ship crafting system.
  14. The folks who designed this system thank you for not mentioning them in this important debate.
  15. Science

Not really interested in that. Just want to get the dailies done. But they don't work anyway so there ya go.
