I have this bug, with Kira. I would say from my experience and what I have read in the 70+page thread in the customer service forum that it is not affection outstripping class progression. The only times I was able to talk to her was after each act, or her missions like the Nar Shaddaa one. And each time it would catch up to relevent affection/class level. It was impossible to talk to her between those times. So the only solution to this really is to maximise your affection and this way you can catch up with a flood of conversations after each act.

I have a Razer Naga otherwise this would not work very well...Also I don't really pvp much. Merciless Slash and Dispatch replace Strike and Slash's position in the top row of the center quickbar to be on top of their cooldowns. 1. Strike 2. Slash 3. Force Leap 4. Force Sweep 5. I'm a sentinel watchman and it works for me. I watched the video and that is not what I am getting. I often use master strike on weak/standard enemies primarily because it does stun and prevent them from healing themselves, and this way I can finish them off in one move while they stand there wobbling.

As sentinel watchman I used Kira most of the game, though toward the end it became more challenging/more healing downtime so I started to use Doc more, though always Kira for main storyline missions and most dialogue option, and even the boss fights Kira was fine to use. Rusk I never used, T7 was forced to use him for the doomsday quest which was really annoying, Lord Scourge i hate, the worst character Bioware have ever created to go with the worst voice acting in the game.

Also got this bug. And have the Kira bug (not the d/s flirt option bug but bugged nonetheless).

Artifice goes with Archeology and Treasure Hunting. The blues require gemstones from treasure hunting and purples also require the rare purple quality gemstones from treasure hunting (which are typically way overpriced on the GTN in my experience). So you really need that set of 3.

I'm using a razer naga. I use the 1-9 buttons for regular abilities, shift 1-9 for special abilities like master strike, dots, interrupts, slows etc and control 1-9 for buffs.

I did not pick the DS flirt and Kira is still bugged. As evidenced by this thread, this can happen to any and all companions http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=82470 So we may be talking about 2 bugs here. The people in the linked thread generally experiencing bugged companions and an appearing/disappearing chat indicator with an inability to initiate chat on ship or in a cantina. This problem was also in the beta, really poor of Bioware not to address these issues before release.

My situation as well word for word.

Well it isn't the DS flirt that causes the bug for me. It was blocked before the DS flirt and after avoiding it. It worked temporarily after avoiding the DS flirt I believe because I was on the ship when the mission finished, and the conversation indicator that appears and disappears never survives an area transition. So it is impossible to get to the ship for a conversation.

Well it appears to be still broken post defector quest after having avoided the darkside flirt, I got a few conversations with her immediately after, now getting the wanting to talk sign coupled with the inability to talk to her on the ship.

Well I finished the defector quest, avoided the dark side flirt, and then finally could talk to her. Several conversations in a row.

Intercom doesn't work

I gave Kira a ridiculous looking helmet, it's rather annoying, though not nearly annoying as the fact she is broken and won't chat when she requests it.

Kira wants to talk to me on ship. Won't talk to me on ship. ***.

Can't talk to her. It said on her portrait she would like to talk, for a few seconds. I went to my ship/cantina a while later and can't talk.

So how do I get from might hilt 2 to might hilt 3? Can you get different schematics from RE the same item?

Amazon just shipped my order (to Australia). It is expected to arrive on the 21st. So maybe don't rush to cancel as of yet
