  1. of course it can happen shadow strike and the imps equivalent can hit up to 3.5k crit so yeah early level they're a pain.
  2. Wow you blow your charge before any class used their knockback... And you think you can come over here and tell people what mara are worth and all when you cleary dont know how to play them geez... Ok ill make it easy for you: never ever use charge to get a jump on a class with knockback run to them use invisibility but never charge then once they knockback bam charge and you win nothing they can do now.
  3. She might be the best shadow but stangely i saw those number on my side also with my commando full BM with chest WH and my scoundrel mix of recruit and BM. Yet none of those guys are as skilled as her just wearing the dps gear in tank spec and bam you win. And for your idea of best possible situation thing well strange when the same thing happen with Grav round/tracer missile hitting hard only on clothies undergeared everyone went crazy but here we should shut up because its wearing one of those glowstick right? See thats the thing when one of the jedi/sith do something crazy its all good and working as intended but when a smuggler/trooper do it then its nerf in the next patch. Even on a low pop server like mine every WZ is 7 jedi(of mix AC) and 1 random AC. Also name me one of the non jedi class you would take seriously for an 8 man team that a jedi/sith couldn't do as good or better.

  7. How is a bonus to xp to the underdog faction when you reached a certain level of Legacy makes you feel cheated or even worst make you feel one faction is "better"? Never said anything about ability hitting harder or healing for more i said bonus to XP which encourage rerolling but does not encourage new player to join one faction and only this one.
  8. Seriosuly you'll level a trooper for a sticky grenade on a 20 min CD which works only when leveling? Yeah...no.. Thats another problem also Imps ability: Warrior: Force choke, comon who doesn't want to choke a B$#%* BH: Flame thrower, A freaking flame thrower comon whats cooler than that Inq: Force Storm, one of the most powerfull AoE in the game yes please Op: Orbital strike, again one of the best AoE in the game Reps ability: Knight: Sweep, the smallest AoE in the game but with a stun so not too bad Trooper: Sticky grande, yeah... lets not start on that Consular: Project, throw a R2 at your foe! cool look, poor utility Smug: Orbital strike, also really?? So yeah imps are all going to reroll for those crazy perks...

So Bioware, when checking back into an interview from some time ago you said that legacy will help with faction balance and at the same time it should help dying server to get back some people but where are those change? What is the problem: Currently i dont see how these legacy perk are going to help with server population and balance. The only thing that i see is the race perk but then again it can be bought. Right now with PVP vs same faction on 3 different WZ (and the last remaining one incoming) i dont see the point on continuing to fight on the rep side with the incredible ratio favoring the imps on my server. Even if some fanatic of a race wants to have it for all of his class and dont want to pay, the imps race are still the better looking IMO so i dont see many people switching reps for this anytime soon. Also as soon as they get that toon to 50 guess what time to head back to imps side! What is happening: Many people on my server are discussing switching all to imps to try to make it a one faction server to show bioware how the current design is not working. on the fleet currently we have about 30 reps at peak times and about 90-100 imps side. When we PVP there is about only 2 or 3 premade and they fight each other back to back every game. I love my commando and scoundrel but since its quite easy to level to 50, is the level grind going to be all that terrible compare to the hours of frustration that is the current end game PVP on dying server? What can be done: Legacy perk that give bonus XP when switching to unbalanced faction: With the ability to mail money to the other faction soon this would make people switch faction more often. It might not be the best solution but the only other way related to that would be an increase in XP no matter the faction you take but this could kill server even faster. Server merge / Character transfer: Many people are agaisnt that, true it would kill some server to create more populated server but its better to have more populated server and having a small portion of people piss about their MISTERKICKURASS legacy name that they have to switch. Having people quit cause they dont have fun waiting 20 min+ for a WZ pops and that its always the same 10-12 people every WZ is really starting to affect the enjoyment of the game for many. Until now BW you've been quite forward with your changes and manage to put in everything you said you were going to do so when and what are those suppose change with legacy to help these server in need??

  13. Well i dont want to do any PVE and the dev said i could level entirely in PVP so what do i do then? Sorry that i dont like bashing on dumb AI all day and prefer facing enemy that (sometime) are'nt total idiot. So if cant enjoy the game as much as you do then i should get a discount on my 15$ a month right? but no i dont get it so again we're ****ed for no reason... Like if that money was too easy to get and it was the only way to make good money then i would have understand the nerf but the time you spen in a WZ you can complete 1-2 daily and get 5x the money you get from the WZ.
  14. First there is no way right now in the PTS while not doing any crew skill to have enough money to train your ability if you level only by PVP so that point is not valid. Also why is my playstyle not suppose to be supported? The devs said that you would be able to level exclusively in PVP but right now it impossible unless you want to hit 50 with a couple of millions in ability training cost which mean you cant PVP once you hit 50 hell you cant even PVE and do daily since you'll be totally gimped.

Scoundrel: Shoot first--back blast--blaster whip--sucker punch = LOL UR ALREADY DEAD?? Sorc: Big lightning--Continous lightning--some more lightning--... lightning again? = UMAD BRAH?? Vanguard: Flame burst--HiB--stock strike--HiB = I DOT, YOU BURN!! NVM BACK TO BACK HIB PROC 6K x2 IN YOUR FACE! Only sentinel and sniper have a more complex rotation but nothing too fancy so again why only the grav hate?
  16. grav/full auto/explosive round/HiB? if you want to add a couple of hammer shot which i dont consider an ability per say then okay then 5. Or if you want to add the plasma grenade when we have our free cast and cost then 6 what else? all the other ability dont do enough damage for the ammo cost compare to these.

Strange i've picked up commando as soon has i saw the first video of swtor with some devs running esseles with a commando and his big *** gun without knowing anything about the entire rotation at that time cause you know this was the first ever video from the game. So i must be a casual aka bad for liking the feel of the class and then when i got to the end and noticed that it was the best dps spec and rotation god forbid that i use it since its only a 4 ability rotation i should totally delete my toon who was server first 50 commando, cleared all content and got bm before ilum crap because its just too easy to play...
  18. Well you dont need to be in a premade to do it. It can be done when Qing solo i've done some fraps and made some post in the CS with a link to it for the devs to show how easy it is but of course it got deleted. The only difference while doing it solo is that only 1 extra get added instead of not counting your full group so if multiple people do it even if they are solo it will do the same thing. The problem right now is those who know how to do it are telling eveyone in general how to and now there is not a single game on my server in the last 2 days which has been a 8v8.
  19. Wait what??? 1v1 you cant survive??? sorry but its a serious case of L2P or trolling. Strongest single target heal, the best CD in the game with supercharge cell, trauma probe, knockback, stun, shield that make you immune to interrupt what more do you need? BTW for Kolto please wake up and realise that the aoe part of it is just gravy the real purpose of it is the extra healing buff and the shield when paired with supercharge cell. And when you see a dps coming 1v1 its simple use supercharge cell and chain cast charged bolt which cost 0 ammo during that time (if your spec like you should be if not first learn to reseach your class)and those should hit for 2.5k to 3k if you're equaly gear like you said. Seriously most of the time i can go with 2 dps hitting on me and keeping eveyrone alive and even 3 if they're melee which are a joke for us so if you get owned its that you are cleary getting out geared by your opponent or the problem is in front of the keyboard.
  20. Breaking news!! MMO existed before WoW!! How shocking!!! Seriously lots of people here are giving dumb reason for pvp gear and i bet that most of them who call themselve long time MMO player for playing wow think they're the real deal... here to break it to you MMO babies: 1. WoW putted the first gear for pvp system and it ruined any pvp that followed it because people wants only shinny loots now. A system like this reward time and not skill its useless and it just show that someone is more no life than you gratz! 2. People that say well then hardcore PVE player would destroy the other... If they take out pvp gear you dont let pve player with an advantage you make like DAoC and have each stats a cap (so like aim/cunning cap at 1000) and make the pve item like the pvp item are now which would turn like more damage, resistance and heal in PVE situation problem solved!! ZOMG so hard to do!
  21. you named the 2 guild with the biggest population on the server awaken being 500 and starfleet had at one point 3 different guild. Of course there is going to be wide range of skill between the best and the worst. For Awaken we have alot of people who never played an mmo before while at the same time we have the #1 progression team on the server. Try to go against Excessive's group then if you manage to even get a door or even a positive K/D ratio and post pic i would love to see that.

This Make sure to do this also, get 30 stack of CSC pre-pull pop supercharge cell throw KB on your tanks (or CCer and the like) just before the pull and you get a free 10% reduce damage for 15 seconds on them. Some will say but you lose the 3% heal buff ZOMG... yeah its 3% and you prevent during that time 10% damage of 1-3 people guess which one if more efficent. Also remember to pop supercharge cell often some people forget that its an incredible CD and that it has 1.5 SECONDS CD!! The ramp up time for 30 CSC is so quick you can nearly chain pop it if needed. For real hard aoe situation just warn your group that instead of having them use defensive CD on random high single target hit, they should use them in aoe phase since we have a harder time healing aoe. Also make sure to tell them to bunch up if possible then pop supercharge cell put kolto bomb before the aoe occurs then enjoy the damage reduction and the no CD on AMP which should cover the damage of any aoe phase. We dont have the easy aoe that sages have but we have way more different tool just gotta learn to use them.

Seriously people have trouble with healing in this game? you do know that we are the only spec who has any advantage with expertise since at same gear level lets say 10% expertise the DPS will do 10% more damage but you'll reduce 10% inc damage which makes you on par BUT YOU STILL heal for 10% extra! I know i play commado and i wear heavy and all but seriously when poping every CD i have, im able to last a good 30sec against 5 dps in pvp gear on me which is way more than enough to call for backup also remember that the point of many Wz is to prevent cap/planting so even if you die but manage to hold them off the cap long enough then you did your job. It also quite easy to have 1 or 2 dps constanly on me unless they have both interrupt and timed themselve well. Another thing why i think healer are far better than what people think is the fact that you dont need to stun, do a big hit or knockback to interrupt a bomb planting/tower capping you only need an "auto attack" and it does the trick which i think is wrong since a team with 3-4 healer with some sage/sorc can speed boost to a tower, cap it before you arrive and they might not kill you but will prevent you from capping anything so easily by healing each other. The only healer that would need a bit of help in pvp is smug/op since their heal are a bit weak and more complicated to work with than the 2 other class. Commando/mercs heal are less powerfull than sage/sorc but we can survive better on our own. Running a sage heal, smug dps, sentinel dps (for healer debuff) and me commando heal we never have any problem keeping us alive if one gets focus the other him up and so on its just not a game when you can solo heal and entire team to victory unless the other team suck at focusing ont he same target.
  24. This would be a bit much if all those are put in but some of them could work like stated before. Just need to make sure its properly balanced.
