I'm confused, I thought a level cap was supposed to come with 1.7. I don't see anything in the patch notes. Did this get scrapped?

I leveled up a Sent to 50 a week or two ago and definitely enjoyed it. There were a few times I was engaged by Group Chat, but that was rare. There was less chat all around; less good chat, less bad chat. I'm up to level 20 on my Sin and most nights I find my in the group chat. Granted, the conversation does go a little extreme at times, but at least people are talking. Also, I have not found the cookies that everyone is talking about. Is there a vendor on Dromund Kaas or fleet I'm missing somewhere?

JK was my first character and I'd read about needing to gear up T7. I'd gotten lazy on class missions and only bothered to interupt if I was getting killed. Once I got insta-killed by his force push or whatever that was the only time I lost. After beating the "final boss" in that 60-75 second range on my second life I was kind of bummed too. Since I played most of the story with Kira and Doc I would have liked to have had them with me in the final fight, or at least HK-51 because he's so fun. I still thought the story was good, but the end fight was blah.

Not true at all. I did it within my first week of hitting 50 on my first toon and only 3ish months in game with a PuG. I told everyone at the start it was my first time, and followed the groups lead. My first death was because the group was not real clear on what to do when the platforms started falling, and my second death was because I followed an experienced player in the wrong direction the next time they started falling. The next two attempts our group had other folks die on the way down. Once we made it down to the bottom with 8 we beat the boss just fine. I explicitly asked the group if the first two wipes were my fault and they didn't blame me at all. Those two deaths also wouldn't have matter if I'd been 50 for months instead of a week, they were due to inexperience with the Op itself. Bottom line is, as long as a new player is up front about it, asks for strategy tips and plays conservatively enough/follows the lead of others then they won't hold the team back. Several newbies at once is a different story though. No worse than someone who's experienced, plays sloppy and won't listen to others in the group.

When I hear people say it took them 3 or 4 hours to download I wonder how many months ago it was that they downloaded it. Since the initial game was released there have been several large updates and many other patches. You have to download that all at once, while others have been able to get small bits here and there. I installed about 3 months ago and it took in excess of 12 hours. As with all other large downloads you have to take into account what time of day/what day you're downloading on due to other high traffic potentially downloading at the same time. If you download on a Wednesday at 2 a.m. I would assume it would be much faster than Saturday at 5 p.m. No need for your mom to be concerned, tell her to take a valium and go back to her 50 Shades of Grey.

Did you change anything through the interface editor previously?

My extent of MMO knowledge has come in the last 3 or 4 months while getting my Sent up to level 50. We'll ignore the 2 or 3 months I spent on GW 5 years ago. Now that I've got HK as a comp and will unlock him with CC on my alts I'm never going to do HM fps. That being said I'm trying to figure out to be the most efficient tank possible and not mess stuff up for groupmates on heroics or the occassional SM fp. I've heard many people say that the assassin is arguably the best tank in the game. So far I'm level 13/14 and have Khem, but I don't understand how to tank at this point. I haven't gotten my advanced training yet, but I don't get how a toon in light armor can be a beast of a tank. I feel like a DPS using force instead of lightsaber at this point. Hmmm. Mid-post it hits me. I suppose all my tanking abilities will come from my advanced training won't it? I still don't get the light armor aspect of it though. Any advice on abilities, gear and strat would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You have these issues in Hardmode? Hardmode is "hardmode" for a reason, when I hit 50 and wanted to get my HK stuff I just followed the groups lead. I don't remember what my HP is, but I never had any problems with the three hardmodes I ran through. I've run into these problems just in story mode regarding spacebar and trying to skip all the bonus/trash mobs.

Did you even read the post or thread? Maybe it was a Smuggler who had hot merchandise and had to make a quick sell!

For me, sentinal works just fine for soloing and does massive DPS. Once I unlocked Kara (DPS comp) I was still able to solo just fine, even though she was somewhat undergeared (only half orange armor). Once I unlocked Doc (healer comp) I geared him properly and things have still been easy-peasy for soloing for the most part. I can solo most Heroic 2's and at least half of the Area's. If I truly understood the skill tree I'm sure it would be even easier. I topped out whatever the middle skill tree is for Sent.

My main toon is level 50 over in the Republic, and I do probably 95%+ of heroics and try to do each Flashpoint as I unlock it at least once. With that being said, I'm only Social II. I know that Esseless, or however you spell it, grants a lot of social points. Does Black Talon work the same way in that regard? I'd like to get some of the social gear with my Imp alt, and I'm hoping Black Talon spacebar runs can help achieve that.

I've looked at a few HK threads and it looks like each time you unlock HK you get a gear pack. By the time I go through all my alts I'm sure I'll earn more than enough CC to purchase the cartel unlock for each alt. My question is, each time I unlock him with CC, will I get a fully geared HK, or at least a gear pack to fully gear him? On a secondary note, any official word on scalable equipment for HK?
