Love how this thread has more views then Stickys about the devs thanking us for playing! Ive read 200 and some odd pages from the previous thread and most of this one. I support the thread 100%, played all the mmos yadda yadda. All the money they spent created a subpar game in this aspect, imo. And its almost guaranteed that due to the popularity of this thread, something should be done. Which most likely wont happen, but in the evolution of online gaming, there will be better games on less budget that will provide a more than subpar experience in character response and this game will go under Biowares Write Off taxes.

@ OP - Here is some constructive information for you and anyone else who needs a little guidance. If a melee jumps you, you need to get away from it ASAP. That doesnt mean stand there and force lightning or any ability that doesn't knockback, snare, or stun. Keep in mind, the RESOLVE BAR! If he has full resolve from others stunning or knockback, your only choice is to SNARE with your insta cast 6 second ability. You need to save your Sprint for <50% hp getaways. When your specced madness - You have to keep distance on people. You have limited defensive ability and this spec DOES the most overall dmg in battlegrounds at higher lvls. As many people claim this spec is based on DOTS, they are wrong. You need to use your chanelling lightning to provide a WRATH proc. Once you have that proc you should burst with your ground AoE, insta dd, and your hardest hitting DD (which will be instant from wrath proc). Above all, keep distance from any enemy player in this spec! Lightning - You have abilities like Blind from Static barrier, and root on your knockback, but your main BURST should be done after you proc your chain lightning instant. I like to burst in order of Affliction - thunderblast - shock - chain lightning instant (just a start) In bolster BGs, Thunder crits from 2500, shock 1400, chain lighting 2k... 40% hp ish from a 2.5s burst. hope it gets you in the right direction of creating your playstyle that you prefer

TBH, the bolster and non bracketed pvp is the only thing that really can help you. Based on what your saying, smuggler in your opinion is not an early bloomer for pvp. As a sorc I would probably destroy you if we were bracketed since this class shines early game. Instead of complaining about what you think should be changed about brackets wzs etc, access where your class receives its best potential chance to win and work with that. Another option (which most players come from hand-fed games dont do) is to record your gameplay. Back in DAOC I would record most of my fights and watch the video to see where you can improve, where mistakes are made, and where you did really good. Do you think a football team goes and drinks beer and plays poker on its non practice days? They are hitting the films 24/7. Football is a game, SWTOR is a game. To be better you need to fix what you do, not the game.

get on vent, and have 1 leader count down 3 2 1 que , and the leader of each group need to group que at the same time. thats your only chance. TBH if your rebel, it should be quite easy to obtain success. As for empire.... another story.

I preordered the 12th, because I waited till last moment making sure this is what my group was doing. 5 others did the same. So yes I think december is going to have alot of preorders.
