  1. BW has a ways to go to optimize the code and likely plug a memory leak or two. Your FPS is not bad as is, especially since you are running the game via bootcamp.
  2. Utilizing muti core processors requires a multi-thread program. This isn't one of those programs and it's only 32 bit so won't utilize all the RAM mentioned by you all. BW and all other MMO designers are wanting to include as many computers as possible. Doing that means a lot of compromise in the specs of the game itself. You will not see cutting edge graphics, DX10 or DX11 utilization, Shader 4.0, 64 bit compiling or multi processor support. I like many of you have a pretty top notch gaming rig and most of the games out there simply do not take advantage of that power. It's a bummer but also a economic reality.
  3. I had no clue there was such a thing as an exhaustion zone till I hit one on Tat. It wasn't that far outside of town. I'm sure there's a compelling design reason for such a silly mechanic and I'm too dense to see it........
  4. Perhaps you should go out and get some fresh air buddy? I'm fairly certain as was stated you can have five (or six) slots per server with a max of 40 friggin toons. That's plenty for you. If for some reason that is inadequate, please roll a different game and come back when the next expansion comes out. /peace
  5. Which video card? All drivers up to date? Attempt repair of your TOR installation? Experiment with graphics settings and restart game and/or computer? I understand you mad bro but take a breath and go through some basic troubleshooting before you jump your toon off a cliff in game somewhere and ragequit.
  6. EU daytime does NOT equal EU "primetime." Look up the definition of prime time kiddies and it will always refer to the evening. For Europe, that is generally 1900-2200 local time. No matter when they patch, someone will whine. Deal with it or get out.
  7. The best "interim" solution is to block new character creation (by incoming accounts) on these queued servers until the caps are raised. Oh and add Warriors of the Shadow to the list
  8. For those of you who aren't yet part of the launch (including me), what do you think the starting areas would look like if everyone started at once? I know many of you must look at it like a competition (zomg, I'm the first on the server to do....). Staggering the start will help control the crap that usually happens in the starting area. Relax peeps.
  9. Which would be better, throw open servers and have jammed up cueues, massive lag and pissed off folks or a rolling start based on who bought in first and bringing servers up as needed to avoid ghost towns? I'm not in the game yet but I'll wait. Better to have a stable game than a jacked up one.
  10. Dear BioWare: I came running over from EvE Online expecting to be able to bring in my <insert ship> to SWTOR if I paid you all enough credits. Then you tell me NO, you must start from the beginning - that Titans and SuperCarriers are still OP and no DEATHSTAR for jooo! Now I'm upset and I shall emorage on the formez until my pleas are heard and I get to be OP in both games.... Sincerely, Pandemic Legion (a goes out to the Legion and apologies to all of you who've never tried EvE)
