  1. Err weeklies currently aren't pinned. And the Black Hole PO looks to be daily repeatable, so it is probably meant to be a daily PO and not a weekly PO. As such it showing you as having completed a daily PO sounds right.
  2. As I mentioned in my last post, the bar does seem to be working...it just looks like it is for something different than it actually is (the bar is for progress towards level 100 when it looks like like it should be for progress on the individual levels). Don't think the exp bar in the social menu is working at all though.
  3. I got the 12 point login bonus today. No issues that I noticed other than the previous mentioned lack of indication of rewards. Really should probably be a pop up message or something. The login reward number was showing 5 for the 4 daily rewards and the login reward when I first logged in though. As a general bug report, after I zoned the number changed to zero (despite me not claiming any of the four rewards) and I think when I first hit level 1 yesterday I was having the same bug as I recall having seeing zero when I was looking for any indication I leveled up. Now that I have hit level 2 and level 3, I see a major UI failure. The level bar on the Galactic Seasons menu. I see now that it is supposed to be tracking your total progress towards level 100. And I am not opposed to that idea for the level bar, and arguably that makes more sense than a repeating bar with only 8 XP...the problem is the location. It is right below the level indicators of 1-6 (or w/e levels you are currently displaying). The visual implication is that the XP in the bar corresponds with the levels right above it (not helped by the fact that the XP bar has markers at the edges of each level section of the chart). Thus the XP bar makes it look like I am less than 1/4 of the way to reaching level 1 despite the fact that I have hit level 3. If the plan is to keep the bar as a progress to level 100 bar then it needs to be moved or adjusted because its current location is just going to confuse people. Possible solutions would include moving it to the bottom of the menu below the page numbers or adding an icon for level 100 at the end of the bar (although depending on the icon that could make people think that it is progress towards 100 XP). Point is needs to be tweaked unless you want a lot of bug reports about it not working and/or people thinking they are leveling up slower than they are.
  4. I remember something to that effect as well. I can't recall where that conversation takes place though. Well there was the whole Feast of Prosperity, during which Duuba refers to "things haven't been good for the Cartel lately," without going into specifics. The advertising for the event described that, "[t]he once powerful organization no longer instills respect and fear."
  5. It probably would cause a lot of clipping with his customization from the paid track where he gets helmet as part of the customization.
  6. Dang it I knew something was wrong there, but I couldn't put my finger on it. Thank you for pointing it out. Fixing it right now. Edit: And fixed. So glad I set myself up so I could quickly fix errors people found. XD
  7. I just got 9 points. Some feedback specific to today's testing: There was no indication that I saw that there were any Galactic Seasons rewards to claim. Only reason I knew to claim them is because I was specifically keeping track of my points. As someone else mentioned previously, when you claim the items, the button doesn't update from claim to claimed unless you exit the menu first Altuur's Alliance Alert did not unlock when I used the Ornate Kubazian Box. I'm not sure if this is intentional and is supposed to be hiding th e recruitment mission in the same way that the lack of solo-story on the FP is hiding the story, but if we are supposed to get it, it did not work on my character (who is currently just before Echoes of Eternity. Additionally, I once again got the same two daily (and no weekly) POs. I wonder if it is just that the daily POs are being rolled for weekly by mistake. XD I claimed him on a character who was past Onslaught and did not get the Alliance Alert. Either he requires you to have fully completed the story so far, the mission is disabled for PTS, or it is bugged. I think the no right click thing is intentional. Weird about the summon/dismiss though though because he did make rubber ducky noises when I did both of those. Each person gets random POs, so there will not be swarms of locusts descending upon a single local to consume all the mobs there.
  8. It is mentioned on the PTS forum that that functionality wasn't going to be available in the first week of PTS.
  9. Well if the weeklies were pinned, then you would in theory be able to, but since they are bugged such that they either are not selected or not pinned atm, 6 is the most you can get in a day at the moment from POs in a reasonable time frame. So it will take at least 2 days to get to level 1 of Galactic Seasons atm.
  10. You need 8 to get to level 1. So two more dailies to hit 9 points which will put you at level 1.
  11. I have no idea why they decided to that, and they absolutely should hide any that aren't active because the inactive ones being shown is clearly confusing a lot of people. But still, you only get points from the ones that are pinned. If you did some that are not pinned and did not get points, then that is working as intended even though it is confusing people. Honestly, what I think they should do is hide all of the PO tasks and instead pin the missions corresponding to your selected missions at the top ideally adding the Galactic Seasons symbol to the objectives to make clear that they are your current objective. I have no idea if that is practical with the Conquest Objectives menu backend though.
  12. Are you doing the two that are pinned at the top of your list? Those are the only two daily ones that give points each day. (There should also probably be two weeklies pinned up there as well, but well beta).
  13. Just logged in to take a look at the GS system today and have some additional feedback from what I had yesterday. The level bar both in the social bar and the Galactic Seasons menu does not show any status. According to the to the Galactic Seasons menu, I have 3/800, but the bars in both locations are showing empty The POs did not change from yesterday. While I suppose it is possible that I got Maintaining Standards and War Efforts two days in a row for my daily POs, the odds seem low. Just checked and Maintaining Standards gave me 3 points, so it is registered as my active daily and it is not just a visual bug Not new to today, but I do not have my weekly POs pinned at the top of my conquest objectives. I do not know if that means they are not assigned or if they are just not pinned.
  14. I mean the game automatically gives you purple quests that tell you the exact next step for the critical path starting from your class quest all the way up to 6.2 already...
  15. GS objectives are randomized so while there may be some increased interest in an area, it won't be everyone trying to complete their daily GS goals. Two goals I had today were kill enemies on Coruscant and win at PVP.
  16. Were you able to find the Galactic Seasons page? Yes, although I already knew where it was before logging in. Were you able to locate your Galactic Seasons Priority Objectives in the Galactic Seasons screen? Yes. In the Conquest screen there is a list of tentative Daily and Weekly Priority Objectives. These are all denoted as "PO: Name". What feedback do you have regarding the current list of objectives? Are the weekly ones live? I only saw two on my list. Defeat enemies 2 on Coruscant and I think win a PVP match. I guess they are fine? I didn't mind doing the defeat enemies one. I'm never going to bother with PVP, but it is fine to miss one occasionally I guess. Side note, you should probably change it to "Galactic Seasons PO" to make clear they are part of the Galactic Seasons system as it isn't necessarily clear with just PO. How do you feel about the cadence and points offered in GS? I'm really not sure how to answer this. What other general feedback would you would like to tell us? My biggest piece of feedback is that you need to better clarify the point total. I did not find it intuitive that the x/800 counter at the top of the screen was for the Season. I thought it was for the level. So when I saw 3/800 after completing a single task, I was fully ready to go just post about how ridiculously pointless the dailies were. Now that I've read David's post I have a better understanding of the system, but without reading that post it would just look ridiculous. For other feedback, I am kind of iffy on the prices. If I wanted to grab the two mount variants and Altuur's customization that basically eats up all my tokens for the season. And I would be completely unable to get anything else. It makes a little more sense knowing that you intend to repeat seasons, but I still would like a little more budget, especially with the two station apartments both costing 7. It doesn't have to be a lot, but maybe increase the number of tokens over the hundred levels by 2 or reduce the cost of the big items (e.g., companions and the apartments) by 1. Did the math, assuming you are a subscriber and login 4 days of the week for the 12 point bonus, you need about 26 points on average to get to level 100 in 21 weeks (150/7 rounded down). If you were to do that with just daily objectives, you would need to do 9 daily objectives (out of 14) each week. If you are not a subscriber, the math does not work out without doing at least some weeklies. Edit: Actually thinking about it, I should probably round up on the weeks instead of down. So that would be 22 weeks. So that would be 36.36 points per week. Rounding down 36-12, means 24 for subscribers (so 8 daily objectives with an occasional 9th one to address the rounding). 36-8, means 28 for non-subscribers. So doing all 14 every week would put them REALLY close, but probably not put them over the finish line. I think they would end at 792.
  17. Hey I wanted to share a project I have been working on for a while, the Unified Playthrough Project. The basic idea of this project is that I am editing together footage from all 8 of my characters to make a single timeline in which all of my characters are active from the beginning of 1.0 to whatever update the game ends on. The plan is for the project to cover all FPs, Ops, Chapters, and events plus various miscellaneous quests. Additionally, I will be occasionally doing videos I am calling 'Excerpts from the Black Codex,' which will cover stuff that I don't have in-game footage for (aka a lot of text). A lot of them will basically just be head canon to explain some things (like why all 8 of my characters are called Commander XD), but I will also use the format for single run story events that occurred before I started recording for the project. Current Status of the Project: (3/22/21) Initial posting, all 1.0 content is in the playlist
  18. Should be noted that the Galactic Seasons Token Vendor was described as having a rotating inventory like Kai Zykken, so I would assume that the way it will work is that all the old rewards will be split among several possible inventories for the Vendor (like Kai's 52 different inventories) and the Vendor will rotate through the various inventories. I'm thinking probably 5 inventories with the vendor changing items every month, so that the vendor goes through all the items every season? Point is, I don't think the vendor will have different items in season 2, just the vendor will be rotating through different sets of items all the time. Well unless they add items from the season 1 tracks to the Vendor after season 1 is over, then I guess technically the vendor will get new items in season 2. Edit: According to the PTS post, it seems the vendor is changing weekly, so my monthly guess was horribly off. Although I could have sworn they said the vendor was going to change less frequently than Kai during the stream...
  19. It is an extension of the login rewards. You'll still be getting the current rewards, they will be two tabs in the same window. I don't think you can "opt out of it." I suppose you could not collect the rewards, but you would still be earning them since you get experience on the tracks for just logging in. I assume that like the daily rewards calendar change, you would get everything you earned in a mail if you left them unclaimed when a season changed.
  20. It is stated in the article that the tentative plan is for each season to last 5 months.
  21. Kira establishes before you enter the mindscape that two of the students are dead. During the fight in the temple, we see four of the students get up while two (including the red head) remain on the ground. Vaylin looks at the red head who is on the ground. Fast forward to the final scene where we see the red head walking away from Satele clearly having gotten better from her terminal case of death. Later on you even get a mail from Satele where she establishes that Syl, one of the two students mentioned by Kira as being dead, has miraculous been returned to them by the Force while the other, Trad, is still dead. Thus, the red head is Syl and the game is trying very hard to make clear that she was revived from the dead somehow as it has established her death three times and her being alive twice. The fact that Vaylin was the only person giving any attention to Syl in the mindscape is clearly supposed to establish that she was involved in the resurrection. And well Vaylin is not the sort of person to heal someone out of the kindness of her heart.
  22. From context, I believe that the "companion weapon" and "companion armor set" is referring to a unique weapon and armor set for Adon. You'll note that later in the article, they mention that subscribers will get a more complete version of Adon with a unique weapon, armor, and customization. The companion weapon and companion armor are both listed under subscriber rewards.
  23. I think they used to need it for Boltstorm a long time ago, but it was changed at some point prior to when I came back to the game, which was before Onslaught.
