  1. Plasma brand ignore armor, so its just the catalyst Us Vig Gaurdians must stand true! we are viable and possibly the best dps in the game. to all you haters I refer you to Mr. Ice T in which he would say "don't hate the player hate the game"
  2. You can start doing hardmodes at anytime once you're 50, however getting a grp as a Vig guardian is kinda rough. Some people won't grp with you if gear isn't up to "standard". There are 4 lvl 50 instances that can be done for some 50 gear as well
  3. Force Stasis needs to be instant and the damage should be lowered
  4. So I was just in a warzone where my Dispatch ability hit and killed an enemy player for 3200, but at the end of the match it says my biggest hit was 2200. and thus not awarded the 2.5k hit award. So my question is since Dispatch is a "finishing move" is it not classified as an ability eligible for award? Thanks
  5. Discipline and efficient enhancements have the same stats of 10power and 28surge rating. This has to be a bug right? I skimmed through the forums and couldn't find a thread about it.. What are some thoughts on this? Also currently there is no Enhancement for Power and Accuracy.
  6. Vigilance Guardian here specced for pure dps lvl 45, and I am not having problems in pvp. Continually top 5 in Damage and kills. Vigilance looks like a pve tree but it hits like a truck in pvp. Force push is amazing, and if you use master strike wisely it pwns. Can't wait till I get dispatch.
  7. I used T7 as Vigilance spec and rolled through content, never died more than once on a boss fight. So yea I'm pretty sure you're doing it wrong
  8. Ranged>melee so playing a guardian would take more skill, you have an enormous amount of abilities and a lot of situational skills.
  9. Vigilance spec here and I continually top dmg and kill charts in PVP I don't even have unremitting specced for full damage. (I also don't die that much at least compared to the other players in the match). By looking at each tree its easy so see Focus as the pvp spec with Force Exhaustion but Vigilance has some pvp utility as well, curious to see if someones got a hybrid build they're willing to share.
  10. I don't have to be a software designer, engineer, developer or "parrot" to see the delay in my attacks and the stuttering animation. I would like to see if fixed because I feel at a huge disadvantage for being melee.
  11. would much rather have improved space combat, guild ships, and world events before a political system....did you just watch the guild wars 2 trailer?
  12. Great post, I suspect hard facts won't stray to far from what you've stated.
  13. I say that Vig is more PVE and Focus is PVP specifically because there last ability, which gives clues as to what Bioware intended them to be. This doesn't mean they can't be used for the latter. I personally believe in the player behind the character. When Bioware gives us damage meters I'm putting my money on VIG being the higher dps output for PVE
  14. There iss no factual data that either spec does more damage. Bioware has stated they mean for all classes to be between 5% of each other until I see other wise I will take their word for it.
  15. the extra focus per Sundering strike is great as well even though i dont have it, I do have the 100% bladestorm on leap which I love
