I see this a lot in Novare Coast. Fighting at South and we cap East. Oh look, we have West, too! Wait, no one is guarding East now.

For all the problems with the merc/mando class, I still love playing it. It is very dependent on group support, but the burst it can pour out from range is pretty sweet. Stealth scan works for covering VS doors and nodes without standing right on top of them although you still don't want to defend alone. I use Jet Boost/Concussion Charge quite often to knock people away from those, too. Having a good healer with you makes a lot of difference, but winning those 1v1 match ups against classes that should defeat you is pretty satisfying.

I get 12-15K hits often enough with my merc/mando. It's even better when your rail shot/high impact bolt is fully juiced and crits for 10K immediately after.

Happy to report things have been better for the last 3 hours or so. We saw new instances open on Yavin and the sustained cheers could be heard across the galaxy.

I can't recall getting a 5K crit on a single target. But Chain Lightning hits 1-3 people and can crit for a decent amount, and I have received the 5K medal. The op probably crit on a CL attack and hit three people for a total of 5K+. You can crit two people for 2500 and get that medal. It's really not a big deal.

The funniest thing I've seen happened a few nights ago. It was a good Huttball match and the score was tied 2-2 heading into the final minute. The fight for control of the ball went back and forth inside that minute but the opposing team had possession as the final seconds were about to tick down. The guy with the ball may have thought he needed to score because he tried to run through the blazing fire pit to reach our end zone. He died as he crossed through, the ball popped out and landed in the hands of our team with two seconds on the clock. Game over. Those of us in vent were just sitting there saying, "Did that just happen?"
