  1. Well I can add this to the list of things that blow about this game now. Just lost my t7 today on a veteran chapter. He was my only comp with max rep too.
  2. I actually really enjoy TOR and will stay as long as it's fun. I think the 5.0 story was great and adding veteran mode was a great idea. I like that they are focusing on content for both solo players and for those who prefer group content. However, if there is another Star Wars based MMO released I will give it a try. If it is fun to play then I will be on board long term and will sadly cancel my sub to this game.
  3. I am having the same issue. Chapters 1&2 kicked me to the character selection screen but completed. Chapter 3 however did not give me credit. I have finished it twice. It is a shame because I am enjoying the difficulty increase. It actually requires me to pay attention and know my rotation now. Much better than normal mode wack-a-mole. Nicely done Bioware, now could you kindly fix it so I can get credit for completing the chapters in veteran? Thanks.
  4. So I just started chapter 1 of the 4.0 content on my merc, and all of his abilities except rapid shots, tracer missile and rail shot disappeared. They are not on his bars, they are not in the abilities menu and they are not trainable. Also, because the heavy armor proficiency has disappeared most of his armor is now deactivated. This makes it kind of difficult to play through the story with no armor and no abilities. Update: Teleporting to my stronghold brings back all my abilities, but once I leave and go back into the instanced area they disappear again. I even tried resetting the mission and starting over again, and it does the same thing. Fixed: Disabling tutorial (escape, disable tutorial) brought them all back.
  5. Hi all, Thanks for any help you can give. I am currently playing a level 60 Mercenary and I really enjoy pvp when I don't get focused by the other team and die in 2-3 seconds. For pvp I have 174 gear in every slot except my mh weapon which is still 168, but will be getting 174 very soon. I have gone with dps gear as I was specced arsenal until very recently when I decided to give IO a shot to see if it was any better. So far not as good but I equate that to the learning curve with the rotation. My normal fights go like this, I get stunned, hit determination and hopefully energy shield before the next stun. If I'm lucky enough to survive the second stun I then will try to hit emergency scan, wz medpac and if need be rapid scan. That is of course when I get attacked. If they are ignoring me I try to stand in the back and go through my normal rotation which at the moment is thermal detonator, incendiary missile, unload, mag shot, normally by this point I'm into my healing/shield rotation. People don't let me have free attacks on them. Now for the big question, would I be more beneficial to my team if I specced bodyguard even in dps (eliminator's) armor? Would I live longer, or would I continue to be a free kill to the opposing team? Is IO or arsenal better for pvp? Should I just save comms and get full combat medic's gear then switch to bodyguard? Any insight from other merc/commandos would be great! Thanks for the help.
  6. Thanks everyone for the excellent replies. There is some really great feedback in here. I only hope the dev's are listening. The only reason I am still joining wz's with my merc is because I am at 59 valor, and once I hit 60 I can finally wear my battlemaster helmet. I really love the class, dual wielding pistols is really fun. It's just kind of sad when a cloth wearing sage/sorc can survive way more damage than someone wearing heavy armor. I wouldn't mind if our damage made up for it, but it just doesn't. Traditionally the most squishy classes made up for it in firepower.

    Please help mercs

Bioware, Could you PLEASE take a look at Mercenarys vs other classes in PVP? They are absolutely useless. I spend 90% of the time stunned. I have 1 stun break on a 90s cooldown. Can you add a mechanic that when you use determination you become immune to stuns for a set amount of time? 15-20s would not be op. Or just completely nerf all stuns in warzones. Thanks.
  8. So for some basic info, I am a lvl 60 Merc using Arsenal. My utilities are jet escape, afterburners, custom enviro suit, protective field, infrared sensors, energy rebounder and thrill of the hunt. My stats are 2018 expertise unbolstered, 97.66% accuracy ranged, 107.66 tech acc, tech crit 25.77 with 74.34 multiplier, 6.3% alacrity. So for my rotation, I'm currently using: get stunned, determination, get stunned, die. What I'm wondering is should I just change my rotation to: run in the corner, cry, get stunned, die? Thanks for any help you can give me.
  9. I didn't read the 11 pages of replies, so if this has been stated my apologies. Having said that, it would be nice if you would take this same stance towards those who buy and sell credits in game for real money. When is the last time you took action against the multitudes of accounts that constantly spam my in-game male advertising their web sites for me to buy credits? I report every mail as spam, and every spam bot on the fleet as spam. When will this be addressed? Do you really think people are selling low level items on the GTN for millions of credits? I do appreciate your heads up on the chair issue, but you have bigger problems than a 99 credit turn around on a chair.
  10. Remember when WoW got rid of their skill trees and everyone quit and the game died?
