  1. Your healing should stay roughly the same. The only ability that changed significantly was Deliverance and the fix of double-Resplendence casting. Constantly use rejuvenate and Salvation if you are spec'd for it, and then start your rotation of Rejuve --> Healing Trance or Rejuve --> Benevolence --> healing Trance. Also, if you're not putting bubbles on your DPS then you're screwing it up.
  2. You weren't very clear as to what he was doing specifically to negate you. Seems like some tricky positioning on top of cc's and knockbacks. Healers are difficult to kill by yourself in most cases, you need to put a mark on them and keep pressure on until others start doing the same. His bubble could be stunning you, his knockback could be rooting you, who knows based on the information at hand. FWIW, there's like 2 marauders that really beat me up on their own. Almost everything else solo won't kill me. 18k health is doing pretty well as a Sage, and if you think our heals are strong now then you really weren't paying attention pre-1.2, I've had 800k heal matches with 250k damage on first-door Voidstar games.
  3. I agree, if the boss died then you are deserving of loot. However, it's not the customer service representatives fault that you died on the final encounter, regardless of the circumstance. Run it again and don't die.
  4. ridiculous posts are ridiculous. If you guys actually defend the incredibly buggy launch of this game, you're absolutely delusional. I like the game and I will continue to play it, but to act like this is how a game that you paid $60.00 for and then pay a monthly fee to continue playing should launch is just stupid. Yes, this is BioWare's first MMO experience but how does that possibly forgive neglecting the known bugs and launching anyway? They had every other MMO that's been named which had buggy launches to learn from. "By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest. Confucius" The trash-talkers/clowns of the forums come around and say, "y u qq'in, just move on already brah." The OP raises a valid point, and if all these people can do is make evident their denial it's a real testament to the kind of community SWTOR is doomed to have if these things aren't addressed and fixed with the quickness.

  7. Firstly, /1 is general by default, so nobody wants you to spam their general tab with LFG options. Secondly, I've never seen anyone criticize people for using the proper avenues for looking for groups. Lastly, who cares? Spamming LFG is no better than a random group-finder anyway, the idea is to find a core group of people whom you enjoy playing with and group with on a consistent basis... I don't understand what you are trying to say.
  8. I think this is totally presumptuous and speaks volumes about your logic, sir. LFG isn't a tool for the lazy. It's a matter of convenience. That's like saying the lazy shopper goes to Wal-Mart... You need to understand that these are features that will be commonplace in practically every massively-multiplayer game henceforth, simply because it's a video game. People should not be forced to spam chat to find suitable characters with suitable specializations for their purpose. They have the freedom to do so if they choose, but it's absolutely wrong to deny that capability to others simply because you think they shouldn't have it.
  9. Why even make a new thread for this? So you can saturate the forums with yet ANOTHER? FFS, it will eventually be implemented. There's no point in expressing an opinion on the matter because the fact is, it's about freedom. If you don't want to use it, nobody is forcing you to. You're not bottlenecked into having to use a LFG tool, and the most successful groups will NEVER be random parties. NOT having it is like saying, "You know, we could do this very simply, but we'd rather force you to spam /1." I've met tons of people using LFG tools in various games that weren't totally brain-dead, and the odds are if you're being called "noob" in a random... you did something wrong.
