  1. So while I was making anew outfit for my female chiss consular I wanted a very specific dye and it would appear to not be in the game, and I was a little surprised by this. You should add a White and Gold dye, or a white and yellow dye either would work and lead to some really great looking armor combinations.
  2. Yes, but I recall it being said, those who kept Zash, would get Zash back.

I do not recall this ever being stated anywhere. I might have missed it but until you posted that I have never heard that bit of information. I went back and looked at Dulfy's notes and in it it says Khem is only available if you sided with Khem.

  3. Well your question does seem to be a silly one. All you would have to do is see all the threads asking for past sub comps to be released again. Now are they worth it? Depends on what someone would consider "worth". To be safe you might as well sub for a month and get the comp.

Exactly right. Based off of all the "Its not fair I missed so and so" threads we see I am going to say it is worth it to a lot of people. But what value something has is subjective.

  4. Fleet population is no indication of server population. People may very well be on other planets/bases/strongholds/warzones/flashpoints/etc. I am hardly on fleet anymore. No reason for me to be there. Do I not count as part of the server population due to not being on fleet a that time?

Exactly right, not everybody wants to hang out on fleet and just run laps. When I go to fleet I am there for as short amount of time as possible before going somewhere else.

  5. Thanks for all of the suggestions, but I am looking for just the goggles sitting up on the head. I am thinking it is not in the game, which is irritating. Seems like an obvious thing to have already.
  6. Does anybody know of any goggles that will sit up on your toons forehead I want it for a look on a sniper or gunslinger I am going to make. I am not having any luck finding any. Are these even in the game? Any help here is appreciated.
  7. Personal opinion but I think May / June at the latest. No way they release Ossus a year out from the actual expansion. Unless they plan some sort of Forged Alliances type of intro before the actual expansion I will stick with May / June otherwise it is just to big of a content drought,
  8. I did hardcore progression raiding in WoW for years before I played SWTOR. When I started played SWTOR I didn't care for the raiding as much but got really into the PvP, so I ended up staying for that and the story. I later went back with a smaller core group of people I used to raid with in WoW to do some mythic raids, but ended up just wanting to come back to SWTOR.

I've done plenty of raiding. I don't want to do it anymore. Not because I'm not capable, but because it's a massive time and scheduling commitment. Also saying anyone can do NiM Ops is absolutely not true and it has nothing to do with whether or not they can hit buttons correctly. Lots of people have small kids they have to take care of or have on call jobs where they can't make the commitment to be on and fully paying attention for 3+ hours several times a week. They might have to leave at any moment. And every serious raid group I've been apart of, unless it's a close knit group of real life friends, won't be bringing that person to raids for long if they keep having to leave or go afk. Plus there are plenty of people who can only play at non-primetime hours which would make finding a raid group very difficult.

In comparison a PvP match only requires your attention for 15-20 minutes and you can pretty much play whenever you want. The exception being sometimes you won't get ranked pops at certain times of the day. But ranked still requires BiS gear if you really want to be competitive.

Totally agree with you. I used to do a lot of raiding and I just do not want to make the time commitment anymore. This is also why I like CXP and how they have things set up right now. I have a path to the best gear, it is slower, as it should be, but I have a path to get it in time. I usually do the pvp daily and weekly on one toon and maybe two toons and I have several very well geared toons. In fairness I stay out of ranked, I am not that into pvp and I would only be a hinderance to those who are serious about their ranked score.

Might want to double check your dates, I think you are off a little bit

  10. 1. Many PvPers don't do PvE. Obtaining the means to gear up through a PvE gearing system is forcing people to participate in an aspect of the game they may not enjoy in order to grind gear.

This is really the one issue I have with your post. Many of us that PVE were basically forced into pvp to get crafting mats to make augments. While I understand the point you are making, and I agree with you. As a PVE person who chocked down a lot of pvp I did not want to do in order to get those mats now it is your turn to choke down content you do not want to do in order to get matts.

On a side note crafting the top tier of gear is dangerously close to pay to win. I could buy an insta 70, sell cartel packs on the GTN and then buy top tier gear without ever leaving fleet. Top tier gear should only be obtainable by playing the game and doing content. If you want to make 248 craftable I do not have an issue, but how it is now is uncomfortably close to pay to win.

  11. I really wonder why are they desperately trying to avoid making anything with heavy focus on force users and the philosophy of the Sith and Jedi which is the most interesting part of star wars, the adventures of Darth bane and Zhana and the later duos is an excellent example but no, we need another generic action tv series

I suspect the budget for a live action show featuring lots of force users would be out of control. I suspect that budget might have something to do with it.

  12. Sadly, I don't think we will ever see another full planet in this game. With that being said, I'd love to see Kashyyyk (along with a nice wookiee stronghold lol). Another choice for me is Dathomir.

Agree with you on Dathomir, I would add Naboo, a sith history to the planet would be cool since that is where Palpatine comes from.

  13. I didn't know about this book, but I will order it right away. If it's just half as interesting as Daniel's quoted Reddit-thread, it's worth the money.

A quote from Daniel from the Reddit-thread:

:D:D:D:D I lol'd heavily. This describes this board here so much.

I have the book you are talking about, it is a good read with lots of details that are really interesting, bits of lore you can't find anywhere else.
