You're in the 2nd wave, and good news for you Decemberists, seeing that they are planning 4 or more additional waves according to Stephen Reid's post. I bet the reason they decided to include more waves was to fit December in there, but don't quote me on that.

While we're waiting on invites and biting our fingernails I figured I'd share some interesting facts about TOR I found in an article. - Entered the Guinness Book of World Records in November for having the biggest voice-over cast in entertainment HISTORY. - More than 1,000 voice actors and up to 280,000 lines of dialogue - If you were to quit your job and spend your workdays playing The Old Republic, it would take you 10 months to get through all of the game's 8 full story lines that unfold across 19 planets. Challenge accepted. - The Old Republic is the largest, most expensive addition to the SW franchise since The Phantom Menace. The game's price tag for development (not even including marketing costs): $100 million. Production budget for The Phantom Menace: $115 million. - For the game to be profitable, there would need to be at least 500,000 subscribers for the first year. which is still a better statistic than what it was going to be originally, until they started EGA 2 days early yeah you're right, they should've just let everyone in first day of early access... there wouldn't have been any server overloads, crashes, long queues or lag then... no worse than it -would- have been had they stuck to the original plan of staggering launch on the 15th. actually, buried somewhere in the terms of service and disclaimer, it says specifically that they wanted to purposely choose only certain players first and give them lots of in-game credits, a crown, free mounts and lollipops to make all the other people jealous...read the fine print.. not as much enduring as reading all the posts bashing them for this
