  1. I believe 12 months of time is too low. In my opinion it should be 24 months on inactivity on the account. Also I think there should be a safeguard against stuff like: Someone creates new F2P account, checks the names. Pays 500 CC for someone elses name. Plays for 3 weeks and drops the game. Result: Previous guy lost his name to someone playing for 3 weeks. And the name is blocked again for another period of time (be it 1 or 2 years). Might be fixable by something along the lines of: To get the name, you have to be subscriber for at least 6 months (either to the past, or pre-pay for 6 months to the future).

  3. Another problem - this time PvE problem is, that I have to watch when I am loading my missiles before the Boss fight starts. Otherwise I might i) Load missiles ii) Ops gets sorted out for 5 mins (someone goes for bio, some explanations are made for boss mechanics) iii) Fight starts - screw me, the Shoulder Cannon is on 1 min CD.
  4. First, I believe this post is written in a well established manner. I can see why the first few sentences "I am etc." are off-putting to some, but I can also see why you wrote them. I would personally add a following: The way your company handles Q&A on the SWTOR product is simply disastrous. Simple bugs which impact EVERY SINGLE ONE of your customers get published on live. FACTS: 1) Achievements, one of taunted features of the expansion PvP achievements broken (crits do not count as one example), lore achievements broken (Tarantatek on Tython) - here you obviously used in many instances old codex tables DESPITE the fact that it was known that those are broken, achievements not counted despite the fact user has the codex entries (hello Xenoanalyst II) - if I would be betting here, I would say naming convention on your internal codex entries IDs is the culprint here. 2) Crafting. Incorrect times on some missions, mats that are not useful at the moment are being dropped from missions (Archeology), incorrect amounts are coming out from missions (Slicing), RE problems... x) The bolster system. All has been said about this one elsewhere. My opinion: I would bet large sum of money that if you try to keep in its complexity you will NOT completely fix it at least 4 weeks from now. CONCLUSION: The first 2 issues should be easy to fix. Because of that, they cause a great deal of pain to consumer. Since, they should be AT MOST 5 MD of work for any decent Q&A analyst to find they are even more painful. At the same time: You managed to create some new stunning in-game cinematic (Makeb intro). The new quest lines on Makeb are not broken. The new abilities pretty much work (Scamper aside). This leads me to conclusion that your Q&A exists, but you probably did not have enough time/resources to test the whole expansion. I have an understanding for this, but this is HUGE MANAGEMENT ISSUE. Somebody at the top is wholly responsible for that. Someone from the management should take responsibility and either resign or explain exactly HOW he plans to make sure those hickups do not happen again. And frankly not to us, as much as we would care for such explanation, we do not deserve it. The employees in Development and Q&A however do, since they look like they are doing crappy job. LAST NOTE: As a consumer I feel that either a) You don't have what it takes to run the SWTOR or b) You just don't give a damn.
  5. As description says. The Shoulder Cannon goes on the 90sec cooldown even when you DO NOT fire all the missiles, but they just perish through time (I believe that is 4 min 30 secs). It gives any stealth attacker a 90 second windows of opportunity to stealthcap the door we are guarding (Against which I assume the shoulder cannon should protect). Is this intended ?
  6. Aside from an in-game bug ticket I think this issue deserve a post on the forums as well, since there is some discussion around the Scamper/Exfiltrate ability and the possible counters. Scenario: Huttball game. My character: Vanguard Target: Operative using the Exfiltrate ability. Skill used by me: Harpoon. When I try to Harpoon an Operative who AT THE SAME MOMENT as I pressed harpoon used the Exfiltrate, his new location appears to be calculated as follows: The location where harpoon would put him + vector where his Exfiltrate would take him. At that location he appears to get to the highest possible zone on the Z axis. Scenario 1: While defending, I stand on the central ramp leading up. I see an operative on the left-most ramp, rolling over the fire. I jump to the pit and mi-air press harpoon (my standard tactic that leads, in every other case, to the target + me ending in the pit). I end up in the pit, but the operative ended up on the central ramp above me. Scenario 2: Again, I am defending, this time right before the acid pit on our side (right where the ramp ends). I see an operative going via our left ramp, using exfiltrate. I run up the ramp a bit (it ain't really high, there, but I need to get LoS) and use harpoon. This time the operative ends up ABOVE me right on the top of the central ramp. In neither cases did I notice any sorcerers which could use their "Rescue" (don't remember how it's called on Sorc) ability. Anybody else (Vanguards/Powertechs, Shadows/Assasins) noticed this and can confirm/deny ? And possible provide a workaround how to stop those rolling hamsters ?
  7. Currently full Assault (7/3/31) mostly doing PvP 1. How do you think your Vanguard spec is perceived by other classes? Perceived as currently being overpowered in terms of short term burst damage. 2. How do you perceive your own spec? Pros: Great pure DPS, especially single target. Cons: No "big" utility abilities (no stealth, no speed, no "oh-****" CDs like one-with-the-force). Probably sitting right in the middle - not OP, not UP. Personally I would trade some of the damage for some survival ability (but then I could roll a Shadow :-) ).
