Color me impressed. Not only are you bring back my favorite event but you're making gear accessable to starters and alts as well. Gsf will be accessabile and hopefully more fun, but my favorite part is that you gain influence with companions as they do tasks. That should have always been in place. I look forward to see what else happens in the future and more of what the roadmap has on it. RL happens and should always be put first. Enjoy whatever time you get with him.

I for one am neither for or against this Nerf. Fact is when they did it, they went too far and now companions are worthless. 1/3rd was all that was necessary. The reward fo a 50 influence companion is worthless as it is now. I play this game casually. Before this update it's grind was comfortable for all, casual and hardcore alike. Now it feels like every other grind in every other mmo...long , tedious, and boring. I came back for 4.0 and was pleasantly surprised by the companions. I had a reason to want to get their influence up. That motivation has been lost with he last patch. And I tried it in all types of play. The thing was there wasn't a feeling of want to level them. What they were able to do just felt far harder then what they could do in 3.0.

The idea reminds me of Battlefront, which I must add seems like a really good idea given the wartime status of both factions.

I love the star wars universe and I get it's a time of war, but even in wartime nothing would stop the events like swoop and pod races. I think this would be an amazing thing for players to bring their own pod that they can tune and upgrade to do. I loved star wars racer back on the 64 and this game adds everything you need to have decent multiplayer vs npc races. I would certainly invest in this venture as well as it was my favorite pastime of any star wars game. whats more players should be able to bet on the podraces with feeds in local and galactic cantina's. This would give the universe a new layer of depth for those of us who enjoy racing. the idea of races could be expanded also to space races that players could test their skill on. The mechanics needed were introduced in galactic starfighter, I beg you expand upon it.

Nice and cryptic state of the game. Free to play was a flop in my eyes. Sure more accounts have been created but what about actual player activity? Notice there wasn't any mention of that! Many F2P players I directed to this game like its visuals, but that's about it. F2P players really don't get anything. I can understand the restricted access but more or less F2P only gets to do the storyline content with very limited everything else. Can't trade, next to no gtn slots, and one profession? I'm only going by what my mates told me as I still pay for this game. As much as they like this game with the restrictions as they are and the only way around them being subscribing or buying them off the cartel market (which costs more then a sub greatly) they dont care to play and when I heard all the "I can't do this?!" from them I can't say that I blame them. This game never went F2P, this game has an "extended trial" based on something WoW did awhile ago only you can take your toon all the way up...but then what? Sub? Dish out way more then a sub for monthly access from the CM? It's more about show me the money then the how can we improve the overall exp for all players. I have to say after playing successful F2P titles that run strong this games free to play is a joke. Look at Aion, Star Trek Online (as much as it pains me to say that one), GuildWars 2, and Planetside 2... this names a few that I play. With the slew that's out there I tend to look at my game list andalmost never find myself looking at this game, and its sad because I love this game. there could be so much more If you stop the penny pinching and start making F2P players want to play instead of "I cant do this without subbing?!" I'm hoping that after RotHC expansion hits I will see dev's take a vested second look and redo of the F2P-P2W archatecture they have put in place. I don't mind a store, I don't mind the prices in it, what I mind is having all my friends leave the game after a week saying I cant do anything without a sub lets move on to a better F2P game where I can do something!
