  1. Welcome to lvl 50, you've just finished the solo portion of the game and now you get to see how broken the engine really is, also they just nerfed healers so enjoy the fail!.
  2. You must be workin for them LOL this game is utter fail, and it reflects in biowares stock being down 50% since launch, investors are pissed. I hope they go bankrupt, I'll NEVER buy an EA or Bioware product again...
  3. This company is wacked, everytime they patch more problems arrise, I've never seen a game get consistently worse patch after patch. Soon your whole server will only have 5 people on it Total. Bioware shares are down over 50% since launch, wonder why ?? FAIL.
  4. The single most feature hmmmm, how about a game that performs as advertised on systems well above the system req's. Thats not too much to ask, honest system requirments. But no. This is an EA/Bioware product I should have known when I saw EA(most EA games are broken pieces of crap), oh well......
  5. ANY company can do better than this mess, this game will go down as the worst MMO blunder in history, the 1st game in all my years that performs worse months after release then the Beta did. You have to goto school to learn how to fail this bad, thats how fail Bioware is.
  6. I held in for patch 1.1.5, because they lead us to believe that turning off turrets and offering a reduced shader option was going to help us people with systems well above spec to play the game as advertised (nope it was just more BS to keep us paying). As it stands I'm having the same issues, everyone else is in the same areas. I will NEVER buy an EA or bioware product again, because I'm not going to let them rip me off ever again with crap like this, I've spent hundreds upgrading my system, because of course they blame it on our hardware, and NOTHING has improved, so I wasted not only money of this crap game and a game card but also a few hundred in hardware UG's that didn't change a thing. EVERY OTHER recently released game runs like a dream on my system both before and after upgrading. But this piece of crap runs poorly in certain areas of the game, and perfectly fine in others. So they don't give a crap about our complaints, nor can they fix this crap because they probably have to start over to fix it. I will also avoid anything related to Lucas Arts including any new movies, books, ect and I hope all of you effected do the same. 10's of thousands are effected, thats alot of lost future sales, and If i was an investor in this mess, I'd be so upset it would probably make me puke. It has become clear that bioware and more notable EA, are producers of crap games, and always will be.
  7. What I'm after is how things will be running for the effected "5%" FPS wise. Not just in Ilum but also in WZ's. My main question is has this worked for anyone effected now in 1.1.4 ? From what I can see in google, it's suggested that the removal of cannon fire is to be implemented as a sorta temp fix for those experiencing poor FPS, regardless of how new ones PC is. So has the fix made these areas playable for those effected ? As for the token changes and such I couldn't care less.
  8. I was wondering if anyone that suffers poor FPS in Ilum/WZ's 1.1.4, have tried the PTR 1.1.5, and if so hows the FPS now ?. Did they actually turn off the cannons ? did they do the same in warzones ?. If so how are the new frame rates for you in these areas. Is it going to make PvP for those effected at least playable now ?. I mean at least 20+ FPS in a large battle at least ? I'm not askin for much just trying to at least be that hopeful. Anyone who has tested please share, tyvm
  9. Well when and IF they patch whatever the FPS issue is that hit's new and old systems alike, please do PM me. I'll be leaving my account go dormant till I'm sure a solid fix has arrived. Great game just unplayable atm, and for ALOT of us too, I've tried every trick in the book to no avail. ....
  10. It has nothing to do with his PC, people with a brand new PC have issues with FPS in this game because it's still chalked full of sloppy code. Your suggestion about the new AA feature is also misguided and 100% wrong. If you took the time to mouse over the feature you'd have noticed that although it appears as an option, it is still currenty not funtioning yet. As for noticing a drop in FPS after this patch, alot of the people report the problem starts for them after they patch, even last patch people who had no issues began to have the FPS issue, and could not correct it no matter what. It's sad they did nothing again in todays patch to address this issue, and it effects by BW's own admitted estimates over 5% of players. 5% of over 2 mil people, many of which have excellent systems too.
  11. read the article it says it all, nor did I claim it was just forum posts, but the tickets don't seem to get much more than an automated response, I'd guess the forum complaints are what gets real human eyes on the issue much sooner for sure. At least the sets of eyes that make the big decisions.
  12. Exactly, but the fanboys in this forum have been attacking anyone who claims to have issues. It hasn't exactly been a receptive environment, to constructive criticism on problems. You get alot of my PC works, so your PC must suck, when in fact many of the effected systems are brand new, and all of the effected systems I've seen posted are well within system req's.
  13. huh ?? mabey your responding to another thread that made no sence, but I agree with it happening in fleet, and a well as PvP, and even on larger planets. The good news is the position has changed yesterdays position was that it only happens to low end systems, (ignoring us peope with brand new rigs having the FPS problem). The wording suggested they believed there was no problem basicly, but they have quickly changed the tune, and now admit it's a problem with the game the have identified the problem areas, and will have us a patch soon. To me that sounds ALOT more professional, and responsible that denial, or downplaying a serious problem for ALOT of people. Even if it's as low as 5% effected, thats 5% of over 2million people, no small problem at all. I believe it's alot more than 5%. Based on the fact most people won't complain, they tend to just walk away.
  14. didn't I link the article ? lemme do it again you obiously haven't looked at the brand new date on it or read it's content. http://www.gamebandits.com/news/pc/star-wars-the-old-republic-bioware-works-on-mmos-frame-rate-issues-29245/ Magazines don't speak for another company unless they have received an official response . They don't want to get sew'd .
