Hello i recently reinstalled the game after not having played since the 64 bit patch and i'm having an issue with shmering lines making the awfull to look at the issue you can see on the robe is also on all other textures and they are particularly bad on voss not one graphic setting seems to fix this and the most obvious fixes true nvdia control panel and windows graphic settings also do not seem to help for contests the marks you can see on the white part of the robe are moving even if the camera is not

  3. its like they are copying wow's homework but somehow manage to make it even worse atleast there you have the options for ui addons to fix whatever the devs mess up here we don't have that so the least and i mean the LEAST they could do is allow us to revert our ui's to other points in time like i got lucky and managed to fix about 80% of my ui but some stuff is so damaged i can't fix it especialy the map and not having an option to use the previous version and now being stuck with this utterly tiny downgraded version with like the worst contrast issues i have ever seen it legit burns my eyes having to use it for a ui update focused on accessibility it has clearly done the opposite for a decent ammount of people wich is both hilarious and sad

Please introduce an option to play with our ui from the previous patch. this joke of a ui is making it hard to just logg into the game and play everything over oversized and out of place with no options to fix or undo the damage this is torture plzzz fixx this or just scrap this entire patch cheers
  5. Keeping the current playstile for anhi is paramount to it remaining fun to play anything to change the playstile is just a bad idea
  6. like gonna repeat what i said before bioware deleted my post (twice now ) this is not only bad for pvp but pve aswel don't think this won't impact there it wil impact pve aswel as regs balace will leak into pve and certain specs will just become completly unviable for harder hm's to nims for 99.99% of the playerbase that does not have 3 of the best dps in the game to carry there meme class

  9. the thing is ling is not over preforming it is on par or slightly below io and engi and is far squishier and less mobile the thing is ling lends itself quite well to the first few fights in R4 that is without a doubt but you can't nerf a spec because it is good inside of the newest raid, look at brontes there it not where near some of the other specs even if played perfectly and it will get nerfed regardless the issue i have with the nerf especialy is the TB And crit changes as both affect the all the other possible builds Ho is a problematic and dumb skill and should never have existed same as volt rush, the fact that the devs ram these new skills inside of a spec that worked perfectly before they even joined the team and are nerfing it expansion after expansion to fit whatever there deluded idea of the spec is is just beyond irititing just to list the ammount of crap ling has to deal with (most cooldown reliant spec in the game thanks to overpowerd and badly designed legendary implants super in flexible rotation thanks to HO Dead top utility row points wasted on base line passives and usless skills getting spit up and forced in extremely bad target swapping thanks to a badly designed tactical low frame rates thanks to badly desinged tactical no mobility thanks to ho no defensive thanks to the new system) these are just some of the issues with the spec not even begin about the stupit luck needed to do actual damage the current devs have NO clue how this spec works and are acticly ruining it, Like they prolly don't even know that in 340 gear with the right set up you don't even hardcast HO anymore

If anything JUGGS need a nerf 170 k aoe DPS is balanced ?? doing 30K+ on a spec with literly nothing to **** up while having insane aoe is to mutch like there is a reason when you go into a raid with competent people you legit only see juggs pt's and mara's they are miles and i mean miles above any of the ranged specs the only ranged spec you see some what regulary , and it still underpreforms massivly is lightning and it only gets played more then engi and IO both wich both do farm more dps if played properly is because BW in there infinite wisdom with the addition OF HO and removal of key passives removed most of the skill from the spec turning it from a high skill high reward to a low skill ok reward spec that every baboon can now play aka making a ranged jugg albe it farr less powerfull also this spec is completely relieant on having a armor brake class in the raid to do its damage , and preferably a spec with the internal debuff as without both of them it again parses lower then a jugg base line as jugg always brings AB while sorc does not, so before posting something that stupit try to atleast know the basics of how damage works in this game
  11. so you belive that a 1/1000000 parse is reason to nerf a spec ? to be one of the worst in the game, also you seem to leave out the small detail that this A on a dummy when in 90% of fights this cannot be repliated and the fights where it CAN be replicated jugg can reflect stuff to easly beat a sorc add ontop of that that jug is the BEST AOE spec in the game while lightning is pure single target it literly has NO aoe and if it takes aoe its single target is similar to arsenal and marksmanship , even tho i agree killing hardcasted HO is a good thing this is COMPLETELY the wrong way to do it they are not only nerfing its single target with HO they are also nerfing cleave and aoe at the same time 2 forms of dps where ling is already among the weakest in the entire game currently only deception being weaker the goal of these nerfs is not to "balance" the spec otherwise they would have simply slightly nerfed HO damage and increased cast time and then BUFFED HO And the force storm talent and lighning bolt bye quite a substantial margin

So deathfields will apply the death mark stacks to a affected target but that is not the issue, under certain circumstances the dot spreading effect of the ability does not work properly sometimes only spreading a few or none at all or sometimes all, there is no real logic behind it that i can find only that it is more likely to happen on area's with a height difference
  13. np and you are not the only one altho i'm realy struggling to get to play it myself as people just prefer you play ling in pve and it is borderline unviable, the worst part is that the current changes to madness will push it even more into a glass cannon turret spec as the pleague master rotation will prolly become mandetory to do viable numbers this means playing without 25 % or 15% dr without an agro drop and no raid buff , and yet this will do less damage then practicly every other spec in the game that gets All of the above for free and in some cases also out self heal madness, after these chages we will once again be left with a spec with **** single target mehh aoe **** defensives No utility No mobility and a exremely clunky and risky rotation that gets insanely punished even more so then ANHI and this all while in pvp the spec will still be **** aside from in random warzones where sorcs will always do okay if not focused they are still a meme in ranked even now, and this is all asuming they don't acedently remove the dot damage passive since is linked if that happens you get a spec that is competing with tanks for dps instead of the other dps, and this all for a spec that has NEVER been in the top 5 specs in any form of content since closed fking alpha (BTW sorc is still the only light armor spec)

Force horrors is a hidden passive that is linked to disintigration it is the part of disintigration that holds the dot damage incease, so bye logic you can asume you lose the crit chance and get the healing in return, wich is dumb as the spec is already under preforming and removing the crit from our main hitter would be stupit, unless they you know do what they should have done ages ago and that is buff the damage from afliction and creeping terror bye about 15-25 % and make force lightning be able to be casted while moving so the spec actualy functions outside of like 3 fights in the entire game
  15. you do know that the odds of getting a parse (and only on dummy) are about as likely as winning the lotery right ? in its average dps its nowhere near them and in raids it preforms a slightly bit worse then something like anhi in dps but it also brings far less utility and that for the second least mobile ranged spec that plays pracicly like a dot spec is where it should be if not higer, i never saw anyone complain when viru could outparse anhi and that spec is far more mobile and has more utility then a sorc has currently
  16. then they should buff other parts of the spec that they actualy do damage. as that is the reason we need to hard cast. 10 years of nerfs on lightning bolt - flash - Tb - crushing - afliction has taken its tol on this spec to the point they are often not worth casting its wy it is so forgiving to pick up ling atm 80% of that do you is HO TB HO since the rest does not do anything , if they truly had any intention of "balancing" sorc they woud start bye removing ho and buffing other parts of the spec like CL And Tb bye increasing the proc chance of forked lightning to 100% and not making it interact with storm watch and instead of HO on that line give us the old bugged Insta CL and rework the force storm talent so we can spec either into single target and cleave with insta cl or go into heavy aoe for that row. And this is just ling wy is NO one talking about the massive **** they are taking all over madness, its not even a decent spec atm and its getting nerfed, without specing into all the cooldown reduction on FS this spec only SLIGHTLY out parses arsenal and marksman, and there are plenty of fights where you cannot do this because you will just die if you like do we realy want to make a spec with what 23-24 k base dps ? when it is also the least mobile and the most squishy spec in the game ? Realy ?? the tactical change is a decent start but first of all you will still NEVER USE it the only fights where its a dps gain are fighs where aoe fluff is likely to kill you because tanks are not intended to cope with that, just look at slam spam and how tanks struggle there already and this all just ignorning the fact that even if it is a dps gain it is still a **** tactical because on the fights where it could be good (grobthok, nim dxun boss 2&3 ,queen hm,) these are still primarly single target fights and what you want is cleave not dedicated aoe this is pure dedicated aoe your damage on the primary target that needs to die will be horrible bye comparision. To make this tacical even remotely usable aside from trolling your tanks, add something akin to the shatter talent. when a target under the effects of your dots dies it explodes or smthing so you can turn aoe into a single target gain, and if you are completly set on making madness the lowest parsing spec in the game for what the 4-5th expansion in a row, atleast give us the same moblilty as other low parsing specs like arsenal bye making both force lightning and storm castable while moving. so if we have to move during our 4-5 FL block we don't lose like 2k dps also Fix the deathfield not spreading dots bugg. its been in the game for well over a year and has been reported god knows howmany times
  17. Wy in the world would you nerf one of the only 3 SEMI viable ranged specs that is still among the BOTTOM 3 specs in pvp if you want to kill HO hardcast maybe just buff TB and CL and just remove this failed experiment ?

Perhaps it is also usefull if we could get an explanation on some of these changes or the lack of them on some specs, Like for example the madness tactical makes very little sence also its one of the few specs that could use buffs, I would say Marksmanship Madness Arsenal could all use buffs, so perhaps explain wy these are not getting them and what the reasoning behind it is, some of us have not been able to main these specs for years now because of there low preformance and it is very depressing that it has come to the point that you have what 3 to 4 viable ranged specs . and then 3 practicly dead specs. so please if anything make the bottom 3 ranged spec atleast competitive for one expansion is my request

TBH carnage/combat needs a rework more then it needs a buff its problems lie in that you can buff stuff that is used during the precision window (will brake it in pvp if you do) it has no aoe to speak of and its utterly rage/focus starved, they realy either need to follow one of the reworks on the forums or revert it back to the days of masterstrike/ravage with the timed windows
  20. this does ignore the skill required for some classes like wy would some one ever play a ling sorc over lets say arsenal if they both do similar numbers while one is x100 times harder to play correctly or something like carnage vs concentration where one is extremely easy the other is one of the harder specs to play + you have the entire defensive tool kit aswell its one of the reasons you see so many mara's atm since they have some of the best mitigation ontop of utilitie meanwhile something like operative takes so mutch damage for less output, You can balance folowing burst>sustained mele>ranged its what got us in this mess in the first place where specs like engi and carnage who are both on the high end of skill requirement are getting beat bye stuff like concentration and viru respectivly wich should just not be the case, A big problem is that the pure dps classes like sniper and mara need there specs to be balanced individualy to suite a niche the problem is that to have any semblance of diversity only two of the three specs are often viable ( anhi + carnage combo for example) where you play the sustained spec everywhere you can and only take the burst when its needed imo you have to give them both similar damage but give the dot specs more in form utility and defensive tools a good example is anhi where it gets the bonus healing what they should prolly do is give anhi a bit more in terms of defensive effectiveness but compensate carnage and then differentiate the pure burst vs the hybrid that has burst and sustained in a similar way , bye my logic all 3 do the same damage but anhi is the most tanky and has the most utilty fury comes second in utlity and defensive tools and carnage the least of the three in both but then has its numbers re done so it actualy has far better burst then concentration

Yes most ranged are worse then mele atm and have always been worse altho you are incorrect in the fact that sorc is actualy the best of the ranged as it is sniper bye far (only viru tho) sorc can't even come close on either single target or aoe and is now less mobile and less tanky aswell + ling now brings less utilite then sniper only maddess can some what compete merc tho now that class has been shafted quite hard on the dps front, can't say i'm mad about it especialy for arsenal as its to easy to deal good damage imo but for io they do deserve to be way higer then where they are now
  22. Considering you are not alowing us to have multiple weapon setups per outfit i suggest you add a outfit copy feature so people don't actualy have to re-buy stuff like black black dye's when they want to swap from lets say assasin to juggernaut or give us 2 weapon sets per outfit
