At work and can't check, but is there anything that only require legacy exp to unlock? Not credits, finish chapter x but just legacy exp.

Legacy is a let down, currently legacy level 30 and the only thing I will probably get is the ship mail box and maybe the repair droid when I get enough credits. Everything else doesn't seem to be worth the credits to get them. Everything really worth anything is not directly related to legacy level, like buffs from finishing chapters and from companions.

I find a reduction in a CD from 18hrs to 12hrs for 600k credits, when my average playtime is only 4hrs to be useless. The most useful abilities/buffs are either below level 10 legacy or not even affected by legacy levels(class buffs/companion buffs). To me the system doesn't seem to encourage people to try to level alts and get legacy exp but instead just to farm more credits for a few perks.

Pretty much my point by the time you have 1.5mil or level 50 you would easily be Legacy level 5.

Emotes and useless cool down reductions? Global Trade in your ship? Not a single one is that exciting and worthwhile imo. I can't judge their system on what they may or may not add in future patches but by what they said their Legacy patch would have.

From what I have read about legacy unlocks it seems that by the time you have achieved the other requirements for a legacy unlock you would have far surpassed the legacy level required? For instance racial unlocks, its a lot easier to get to level 5 in Legacy than 1.5 million credits to spend on a new race or level a race to 50. It seems like this for all of the unlocks. Then on top of that the buffs and bonuses(class and companions) don't require any legacy levels. I am looking at my 28 legacy levels and realizing the last 18 are about useless and redundant.

I am a dps merc so not sure. But to me it would seem skadge or torian would be a good option.

I agree with the original poster. I play a BH that does what will likely pay the most and when money isn't involved he doesn't kill unless attacked. So I just leveled up to 50 without using artifacts since I hardly ever was above dark 1 or light 1, it would have been nice with the litle extra bonus. Imo best items for Sith should be dark 5 and Jedi light 5, and for the rest it should be not quite as good but level based. A Sith/Jedi with that play the other way can get a nice artifact on par with the rest.

You should be able to use the shuttle that takes you to dromund kaas at level 10ish. If you look at the map on the space station I belive the elevator down to the shuttle is at the top of the map.

Well thought out and reasoned post...to bad it will be buried by 30 pages of rage. I also waited till after I did a beta test weekend to pre-order, though I noticed the fine print that said up to 5 days of early access and I am glad that when bw realized the level of demand they increased it 7 days. I expect the closer we get to the weekend the larger the waves will get till everyone is in by sat or sun day at the latest.
