  1. I feel i am getting much less for my buck and as such won't be inclined to purchase future packs of this style. I do like that the rare armor is in crates but that also is a downfall with the drop rate. Before one could get pieces of the rare armor from the pack and trade with others or sell parts to make money for the pieces they wanted. Now if the rng gods are angry you get zilch. After opening two hypercrates worth of packs I was unable to get a single crate of Sith Recluse armor. This compounded with the lack of a rep (which I felt added worth to my purchases) and lack of jawa scraps makes the packs seem un appealing. The short and skinny: not getting my money's worth vs the previous format of the packs.
  2. Much fun to be had in Transcendence! As we grow, our pvp and RP only get better
  3. ^ This exactly. I stated in another thread, WZs are for casual players, the rated system should use this win-loss system so its super competitive. But this is terribad for the ONLY WAY TO GET GEAR TO PVP. As others stated, such a catch-22.
  4. Agreed, this system is FINE for rated WZs, I'm for it there. That's a competitive area where wins and losses should be massive. But this is for casuals to GET GEAR and learn.
  5. Normally I won't join in on this, but I for once agree with this post. What is my incentive to pvp? Half my matches are 5-6 v 8, and when it is 8 v 8 generally the other side is a premade Imperial team. So why should I bother if I KNOW my team can't win on the basis of lack of communication? I can generally turn some WZs around, like huttball as a vanguard, but when the match is 5 v 8, it's just near impossible. Also, yah when you get royally stomped you get basically nothing for it. It was basically 5 minutes of your life gone. Revert this back to pre 1.2 reward system and I'd be happy.

  7. Let me be the bearer of good news. I too was afraid of this, but then i did some research and found, -drum roll- this is basically how it works. You buy any race for 1.5 mil and it unlocks! What you had in mind already existed, the issue is the information is very sparse. here is where you can see more http://mmo-mechanics.com/news.php?article=1-2-legacy-system-preview
  8. If the bolded were true, World of Warcraft would have died roughly 5 times or more by now. It's a gamble to do it, I'll admit, and one that most games lose, but if done right, well look at WoW.
  9. This has got the be the funniest collection of nerd rage I have seen. I mean, first many act like its completely bull they can't slice someone in half with a lightsaber in one hit. Now they can't bend their minds around the concept of players being any race they choose in a GAME. As many have said, yah why couldn't those races on the imperial side be on the republics side as defectors of sorts? the logic's there and is simple. Now if you want to argue you are THE SMUGGER or THE JEDI KNIGHT and no where in the history of star wars lore was there a Chiss in the republic then i say: You ARE REVAN in KOTOR and by your logic REVAN MUST be a mixed raced hermaphrodite. Just accept people want to be what they want to be, know that in terms of the long term lore, the classes will be represented by the Lore correct races. Now go back to crying over the spilled lightsaber milk.
  10. Low is a relative term here, yah its less than other classes, but they are just percentages. In absolute terms, probably 10 thousand people play them vs the 100k playing inquisitors? so yah, compared to them its small but still a **** ton of people playing them.
  11. QUESTION: With the legacy system allowing races not currently available to a class to become available, will those current characters, whose legacy opens up a new race, be allowed to swap to that new race during some form of grace period when this update goes live? Basically, when the legacy update hits, will we get a period to pick a race we might have unlocked for an existing character?
