Well you did just that and then you claimed how you don;t want this game to become WoW which is a bit odd to say the least. And arena, seriously? I don't pay subscription here in order to fish, cook, sit in chairs and visit barbers, these things aren't exactly giving me a huge Star Wars vibe. So yeah, some of the things you mentioned are great like Pazaak and a better space combat system but they most certainly won't be here in 1.7, as for the rest it, i don't really see any reason whatsoever why they should even bother when they can focus on more important stuff.

As soon as i saw "sitting in chairs" as one of the OP's important quality of life features i stopped reading. So yeah, more content and Ilum in 1.7 and less chairs and barbers please.

I agree that the odds of winning something good seem to be rather low, i mean don't get me wrong i am perfectly aware that the odds should be low indeed and in favor of the house, but they seem even lower than that. I also noticed that some of my characters are much luckier than some others when opening these packs, doesn't matter how weird that sounds. lol But still i'm not complaining too much because i haven't opened nearly as much packs as you have, but if i have i would probably get pissed off and opened 20 more knowing that my luck is bound to change, and it most probably would have. That aside, the invisible chest piece is hilarious!

Haha yeah they got steamrolled indeed because two of our Commandos were Combat Medics with really good gear and they generally knew what they are doing so we basically weren't dying , their team was composed of force users only, juggernaut, marauder and the rest of them were lightning based sorcerers, jugg was really good and held his ground, but sorcs were dropping like flies. Back on topic: I think you have a point about lack of imagination, my first character back during the early access was that Commando and he is the only 50 i have, had a blast with him and now i really enjoy leveling my Smuggler, my force user characters are all in the 20-40 level range not because i don't like them, they are great and the stories are excellent but it annoys me sometimes that there are so bloody many of them, so they will wait until Smuggler hits 50. But everyone has a different taste, i can't argue with that, my friend for example who tried f2p a few days ago, liked the game a lot and subbed, immediately made like 6 force user character saying "this is what SW is all about"!

Cancelling....i don't think so, just dramatizing and whining too much. Personally i don't mind these items at all mostly because i really don't like them, the speeder is hilarious to say the least, the tree is maybe the only cool thing for me. Even if we could obtain these items via some event i really wouldn't bother, again because aside that holo tree the rest is not worth it in my opinion.

Correct. Although i have to say that on ToFN there is a bit more variety, for example the other day in the warzone i have participated, our team was composed of Commandos only. Also what other posters here have said about new f2p players rolling strictly force user classes is also true.

Since no one is forcing you to pay ergo you can obtain all of those ship items via regular means in game there isn't much of a problem really. Not to mention the fact that the space oriented part of the game is not competitive in any way whatsoever and that no one actually gives a damn what you, me or anyone else is achieving over there.

What did you expect, to buy a set of armor (hypothetically) which will then magically appear on all 12 of your characters?

SWTOR rocks, as in the game is fantastic with a huge amount of potential for future updates. Edit: Will be even better once they fix the annoying companion lightsabre bug.

Of course you are not the only on OP. Personally i like the Cartel Shop, and the fact that us subs get our share of monthly coins is good, it's excellent for the game overall because people are spending lots of money there which will ensure quality future content.
