  1. Hood up, hood down toggle should be in the game. Hoods and down hoods are already separate geo, the system already exists. I have a feeling that the twi'lek lekku are modeled right onto the twi's head. Its all one mesh, so toggling them around or off will require remodels of the head (a lot more work). I hope you get it though! but that is probably why it is being avoided.
  2. Oh that is good to know, I was sure I read that legacy names were unique. How about guild names? The option to create a guy works too, but a checker would be simpler, especially if you are in game, looking at the cartel shop, mulling it over.
  3. Hello, I am glad to see that the option to change a name or legacy name is here now. It is marred however by the lack of being able to find out if the name you want is open. Yes I can log into Imp/Pub toons and do a "add friend" and see if a name is open. This method is tedious though. I cannot, however, check a legacy name and at 1000 CC or a million creds, I want to know for sure it is worth my while. Please add a tool to the ESC menu that opens a simple dialogue box to check name / guild name / legacy name. The system already does this check when you try and name yourself, just give us access to it Cheers EDIT: Ok, good news, I read some old info and TheBBP is correct, legacy names are not unique. Sorry for the confusion.
  4. /signed I like the double xp, I hope it keeps happening. It helps me power through the doldrums of the 30s.. but I am totally for this option. It is silly how fast you plow past a pile of game design elements with super xp. It definitely changes the dynamic of the game. Also an option to freeze your xp could be kind of fun. I really enjoy pvp pre 30.. be cool to have a character in that bracket forever. More options are always good
  5. As the title says, it looks too big and goofy on body type 2. (I haven't looked at it on other body types but I read it looks nice on BT3). Any chance it can be scaled down a bit? I realize it extends down, that's not what i mean. It is too large all around. Perhaps scale it closer to the revan mask? That one looks nice under a hood. Cheers.
  6. too bad expertise removes all fun from the world pvp. Any good fights, or skill based combat is completely trivialized by expertise, it provides such a stupidly overwhelming advantage. The free for all aspect also screws everything up. We got a nice force together and took on the imps in a massive battle.. and it quickly turned to a mess because outside my group of 4 I could hurt my friends.. I kept having to second guess my targets and carefully click through the battle field. It was dumb and didn't last long. I just avoid the pvp area because nothing is sporting, nothing is fun. Its just stealthers ganking singles at the pylon. woopdee-doo.
  7. /signed. The dyes available to artifice are too few. Simple colors/tones should have been the crafted ones - black is a rare cartel item... really? Collections sounded awesome and turned out to be trash. Full sets to add them? Who thinks this stuff up? If this all didn't seem so damn greedy I could overlook some of it. It just feels like a sell out for stuff that should be in the game anyway. It makes me think being a subscriber just isn't worth it at all.
  8. You are 100% right OP. It looks way too big. The eye holes are also too far apart. be nice if they could rescale it. Edit: I did some more reading and it seems to scale well to body type 3 but looks wrong on body type 1 and 2. Fix please!
  9. actually, you can take points out of saber strength, and put them into gather strength. Slash isnt one I use all the time, but its my go to if the others are on CD.
  10. I use: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#500cZIbMRMudzMZGd0rz.1 it gives utility and pretty steady dps. Momentum and zealot leap are great together. I also suspect zealot leap hits as hard as plasma brand. Not of a fan of plasma brand or that it has a sunder pre-req. ZL also is a range closer which is great. The nice thing here is that you are rarely focus starved, even without defiance. No big hits here though, biggest ive seen is 3k. (thats with a modded normal saber, never did get a champ saber) usually floats between 2-3k for each hit but you can chain: Force leap, OH slash, Blade storm (usually always a crit due to force rush), zealot leap next to make your next Blade storm free, force sweep. You can then force stasis, force push and do the chain all over again. This will usually put any 1v1 player down, or close to death. The unremitting is great for pvp leaping and not getting punted all the time. Its one of the reasons I dont like focus spec, esp for pvp. It might be good to trade burning blade for gather strength... the dot is so pitiful, but blade storm is used as soon as its off CD so I figured it couldn't hurt.
  11. Its about progression. If you treat pvp as a progression game then you need the gear incentive. Personally I think pvp should make everyone equal so you need SKILL to win, anyone can que and contribute. It doesn't come down to one team have 4 battle masters. The 4 battlemasters should win because of all the time and effort they put in. One would hope they are BETTER players, not better geared. The problem is, you don't NEED pvp gear to play pvp. The objectives don't change, its simply how you stack against the other players. Gear breaks the games. If one team is both experienced AND has pvp gear piled on, they will win. The fun of the game is removed and it becomes a 10 minute waste of time. PvE =/= PvP. They are entirely different games. A clever game designer would offer prestige rewards, things that make the dedicated PVPers stand out and be recognized without making them unkillable and ruining pvp. What kind of a game is this if I need to "pay my dues" and suffer for 2 months until i finally am geared up. And after that the matches are entirely up to chance because under geared people will que and break the game again.
  12. Most likely because gear didn't decide the outcome, Ive heard getting the pvp set in that game was easy so everyone was on the same playing field. If not, it should be that way anyway.
  13. Alright I guess im lucky, again untracked the quests, qued and all my wins have counted, 100%. They need to fix this crap though, wins aren't easy to come by. Its infuriating.
  14. Hey, If your wins are not counting, Untrack the quests in your log. I have heard its not 100%, but it has worked perfectly for me. Every win I get counts, and counted before the so called "fix". Give it a try and post back here. Hopefully if the results are good we can get people some wins for now.
  15. untrack it. it doesn't always work, but it helps.
