Let me start by saying these following comments are simply my personal opinion and I highly value everyone else's so they are in no way meant to undermine anyone else's opinions. I will try to post "whys" the best I can without including any real spoilers as I dont want to ruin anything for anyone else. That said, I have played 7 of the stories thru Ch3. All female and mostly lightside. I found that when I tried to play straight dark chars I didnt feel right. It felt like they were being evil just to be a douche and not really for a legit reason or to have an actual effect on the story. I did play 1 char thru Ch3 with a mix of choices and I found I liked that best so I started another and am working on her as I see fit as well without gravitating towards strict light or dark. It seems more fun and legit that way story wise. Out of all the stories I have only really enjoyed 1. A couple others were "ok" but most I found lackluster and way too predictable. I am surprised to say that the story I came to this game for would prolly rank #3 for me if I had to make a list. Since it was asked for here is mine: 1) Inquisitor. Female, full light side. This was the only story I couldnt predict. Story wise it was great IMO and as a LS it was a lot of fun. I felt connected to my char and felt like she truly could effect the galaxy and bring change. It also helped that this char had my 2nd fave romance option so I had a likable companion to run around with. My only complaint would be that this char felt the most "young and reckless". She was constantly getting into trouble and doing things I felt she should have been too smart to do/fall for. I felt her companions were the smartest and most connected to the story in the game and they really shouldnt have let her do all that stupid stuff lol. 2) Smuggler. This was prolly the single most predictable story for me. I literally predicted it from beginning to end, telling my husband "watch this happen now" and sure enough lol. This is the char I played fully by choice although I regret a few choices and would have liked to see how the story would have played out with a different choice just for fun (Skavak being a big one). Why is this number 2 then? Well all the quips, that's why. The choices I made usually left me in giggles. This girl had sass and sarcasm to spare and I related to that a lot. The story also had the best flow for me despite being predictable. You followed the same bad guy and worked with the same core group. It didnt jump all over the place leaving you wondering "wait what?" like some other stories did. 3) BH. BH has Torian and Mandalorians so I am biased towards this story. But the story itself was lackluster and had a lot of missed opportunities. Aside from Torian and the stuff with Madalore etc it was a bit boring and very rinse/repeat. Throw in that it also had the only companion in game I truly HATE and it made it a bit harder for me to get into. Some other companions are lame (boring as heck), or obnoxious in ways but for me they were easier to deal with than Mako. I HATED her with a passion. And you have to drag her everywhere for the longest time before you get Gault. >.< For me the worst stories were both Jedi (boring as heck and lame to boot) and Agent. I know a lot of people love the Agent story but I didnt because I didnt feel like I had any control over the story outcome. I purposefully ESC out of most of the options to try something else to see if it would change but found ALL 3 options had the exact same result. You were FORCED to have someone control your body, mind, and actions no matter what and I really didnt like that at all. I wanted more spy and intrigue and I didnt feel that at all with that story. Just the same old boring deceit and BS of the other stories. My favorite part of that story was marrying the guy on Voss then marrying my companion and finding myself with 2 husbands at the same time lol. It was the only time in the story I felt control over my char's actions and was amused. Well that is my 2 cents and TL;DR lol I know. Im sorry.

I was wondering how long it usually takes to get your cartel coin bonus from subscribing. I subscribed for 2 months on the 8th and I still havent received the coins for the 1st month of that subscription. Is that normal or should I have gotten them already? I can understand a few day delay but well over a week? IDK if it is normal or if I should submit a ticket. >.<

Im still newish to the game and havent played much of the stories yet. Despite her being completely broken for the past month, I did manage to get all my BH's companions over a couple days in between bugs. And I have started a couple other chars to dabble etc. So ATM my list would go a bit like this since I like several: 1) Torian (Mandalorian, takes the cake) 2) Andronikos (sexy pirate, have to love him) 3) Gault (I frickin love Gault, but Torian takes the cake so ya) 4) Khem Val (he acts tough but I know he loves me) 5) Quinn (so damn cute and easy to fluster. Plays hard to get tho) 6) Blizz (he's just stinking adorable) 7) Corso (he's pretty charming to my smuggler) The absolute WORST companion for me is Mako. I HATE her so insanely much. I'd throw her out an airlock in a heartbeat. Unfort she is the BH's first and most chatty companion. >.< Since I cant kill her or duct tape her mouth shut, I turned her into a 100% cybernetic. Spiteful, but we have to take small pleasures were we can.

I have to say I am a bit annoyed now. I went back to check in on my BH real fast and noticed I had a mail. It was from Torian. Im newish to the game and havent done the companion romances before but from what Ive seen/understood trying to google this, it means the end of the romance/story line with him? I didnt even really get started in the line with him other than a couple flirts and I was really looking forward to that romance line so Im a bit annoyed that the combination of these bugs broke my character like that and I wont be able to go back and fix it. A day after I spent every cent I had on nice armor for her and Torian no less and buying him tons of gifts. It is really disappointing!!!! On top of that it is showing that I completed both him and Gualt but wont let me complete Mako, Blizz, or Skadge. it also is showing legacy unlocks which I dont fully understand but am assuming are buffs etc for all my chars in the legacy. It shows them as unlocked but I cant use them? So this char and story is now broken to all heck. I've been in a limbo since I started playing a month ago because I really dont know what I want to do (if anything) other than play BH. I've dabbled but I dont feel connected to those chars so I dont get very far. ((Part of me is also scared to fix up a different char that I like and run into the same/similar problem.)) Please fix BH Bioware.

I am normally not one to complain in games. Im pretty go with the flow. But I have to admit I am very disappointed with all the BH bugs. I came to this game 100% to play a BH with a Mandalorian companion. A couple days in I found out Torian was broken and had to bench my BH for almost a month. Torian just gets fixed this week and I get to play her a couple days and run into this new bug which will force me to bench her yet again for who knows how long. That isnt very fun or encouraging. >.< That said, I have the same bug, same circumstances. I decided to let the Chancellor go, escape pod to Tyrant, and nada. Mostly empty ship still in destruction phase. No quest objectives, no Darth Toren, no nothing. I went to Fleet and reset my mission and still nothing. Empty ship, No Darth. I do hope we can get a fix for this quicker than the companion fix. I really dont want to bench my BH any longer and I honestly want her to be the char I experience all the content/planets/expansions etc with first. >.<

Looks like Patch is tomm. Let's hope they actually fix this problem. It sucks that I actually came to this game a month ago 100% for BH/mando companion and had to bench her right away because Torian was missing. I was so excited when I came here and this rather sucked the fun out of everything for me. I wasnt even here 2 days when someone stole my candy, popped my balloon, and gave me a hard time. I joke but it really isnt funny. Im past ready to get my Torian back and enjoy the game the way it should be enjoyed....with excitement for a story and a connection to your character. Let's get this fixed already please!

Same problem with Torian on my BH. CS told me to reset my class mission and that should bring him back instantly but it does not work (at least not with Torian). If you havent tried that yet for your companions it is always worth a shot I guess. >.< Just make sure to RESET, not abandon.

So I finally got a reply to my CS ticket. While my response was less robotic it is still 100% useless. I really wish they would properly address this issue and fix it. They seem to be under the impression that they already fixed it. They told me: Fix was already deployed for missing companions but if still having an issue to reset class mission and voila! Companion should re-appear and I should be able to go on my merry way. How about no? Ive tried this 15+ times on Fleet and various planets and it DOES NOT work. Torian is still missing from companion and crew windows and now he is missing from intercom cutscenes as well when he was showing up in them before. He's 100% GONE. We seriously need a fix for this issue rather than having it brushed under the rug. Their "normal" fixes arent working for this bug. >.<

Sorry if this has been posted before. Im new to the game and I noticed that while harvesting I am currently able to harvest nodes I shouldnt be able to? I am guessing this is a bug unless it was recently changed and the numbers just not removed. I am currently on Balmorra and am able to fully extract from nodes and corpses that say I need a kill level of 50 and 80 to do so and I have a whopping 21 skill. >.< It seems to be working for all my skills (bio, arch, and I forget the other harvesting one.). Normal/meant to be or a bug?

IDK if it is really funny but I saw someone in my first couple of days in game (so about a week ago or less lol) named: Smiles'warmly. It made me smile at least.

I am just curious if any of you are powertechs? All my BH chars with this issue are mercs so I was wondering if it is a FULL BH issue or just a merc issue? I had read before just merc and power had a different issue but IDK if that is true? I always thought/assumed BH would be the first and prolly only story I would complete in this game and now I cant even do that as I really dont want to experience the game or BH story without Torian. That may sound lame, but that is pretty much what Im here and subbed for unfort. >.< Im also curious as to how long it usually takes to get a response to a ticket in this game? Mine on this issue has been sitting open for a week with no response at all. =/

There are many that are doing this. Ugh, I cant remember where all I saw them but Im new and pretty low lvl so it was on early planets. Nar Shadda being one for sure as I pointed it out to my husband there. It looked kinda silly flying thru all the buildings on an invis speeder lol. I think I may have seen some on Dromund Kaas and Balmora as well but I cant remember for sure. >.< Def something that should be looked in to as I THINK it is a patch problem (I only started playing 2 days before the early access patch so I cant be positive).

I played this game at launch for a month or 2. I didnt get very far into the story as I was waiting for my husband to have time to play back then so we could level together. I quit due to moving IRL and just never came back after that. Till now..... I just came back a week (ish) ago. I consider myself 100% a noob as so much as changed and I never got far before in the story. I came back to this game 100% for the story and to finally get Torian as a companion. So I started a BH and leveled the heck out of her. Imagine my disappointment when I finally add Torian to my crew then find out he isnt actually there. He wont show up in my companion/crew windows either and I cant pinpoint anything weird I did that could be the bug trigger. I completed my quests on Taris and he showed up in the intercom missions but as I moved on to Quesh right after I noticed I couldnt call him. He was nowhere to be found. Ive been leveling a second BH hoping it was an isolated incident but after seeing this thread, I see that is prolly a waste of time. So I guess I will start a random char I have no interest in and pray this gets fixed soon as I really want to play the BH story.

I am new to the game and am missing a companion (Torian Cadera). All others are there. I am 100% PRE-expansion tho. Is this a way to get my companion to show up? Would it work for me if Im pre-content? And if so, where is this terminal located at? My main BH is only lvl 35 and has been missing Torian since the start. I started playing the Sun before the early access patch went live and "got" Torian I think a day or so later. He shows up when I do intercom missions on my ship so he is def part of my team. But he wont show up in my crew or companion windows and I have no way to call him which I'd really like to do as I'd much rather tour the galaxy with him than any other companion. I was hoping this new patch would return him to me but it did not. >.<

Still at a loss trying to get this companion to show up. I have logged out and that didnt work. Ive travelled to both Fleet and a random planet and have tried resetting my class quest multiple times and nada. This companion just wont show up for some reason. Anyone have any other ideas?

Hi, Im a lvl 35 bounty hunter and have done my class quests thru Taris and did a stint on Quesh. I am now set to track a bounty on Hoth in my story line. Torian Cadera already joined my crew but is not showing up in my companion or crew windows and I cant call him for some reason. Anyone know why not or how to fix this? When I use my intercom on my ship etc he is there in the cut scenes as part of my crew so Im a bit confused as to what is going on. >.< Any ideas or help?

I just started playing a couple days ago and I know there was a patch today with many new changes to companions and the game in general. While I dont understand all of them I am figuring many things out on my own. There are a couple things that have me a bit stumped tho. >.< First off companions. I am a BH and have Mako. Before she used a blaster and a knife. I understand that armor is cosmetic for companions now but Im assuming they still use wpns right? She is showing no knife slot now but has a blaster slot. yet her blaster (and her pants lol) is missing and it wont let me equip a new one on her. ive tried changing her from heals to DPS etc in hopes that I was missing something stupid but that didnt work either. Am I correct in assuming something is wrong here? She shouldnt be running around trying to bop people to death with a medical scanner right? She should be more useful than that? What am I missing lol? Did they change her wpn type? And if so how do you tell now what type of wpn a certain companion uses? Her char sheet is telling me nothing. >.< Also, another quick Q. I seem to have gotten rolled back. Is that normal? I believe Im the correct level and may have only lost a little XP but I am now tracking several missions I completed yesterday. I dont really mind doing them again but am curious if this is the "norm" and whether or not I should expect other stuff to have been rolled back too like datacrons? EDIT: I figured out the first Q. Not 100% but a different pistol worked. I am not sure why the first one did not when it says it is for DPS and healers but oh well. She now has a wpn again lol. And pants.

Mako IMO she is the worst companion ever and Im stuck with her because she is SUPPOSEDLY my healer. But she never heals. When she does it is like for 80 points and Im lvl 33. >.< Yet she heals herself for over 600 points. I watched this in action all day yesterday. It is ridiculous. I honestly shouldnt be dying repeatedly at lvl 33 because my healer totally sucks a**. And every word that comes out of her mouth is sooooo annoying and degrading. As a female player I find her overly whiney and offensive. She is a total wimp...really pathetic. The rest of her "story" lines etc make no sense. One minute she is whining at me not to forget we are a team and when Im mean to her and tell her we arent a team, that she works for me...she says she doesnt. She's weird. If I had the option to throw her out of the airlock, I most certainly would. Im going to die anyway whether she is with me or not since she is such a horrid healer so why not die happily without her instead of cursing at her for not doing her job? The only ways I can think for Bioware to fix her is to permanently gag her so I never have to hear her speak and to make her a much more effective healer. Honestly I'd much rather my "trophy husband" as people called him (personally I like Torian best because he is the most low key) or Gault be my healer companion.

I want to take a second to say THANK YOU to all the people that randomly buff others. It is one thing to say to do it...it is another to thank those that do and I dont think people get thanked enough for it. I know I get buffed a lot when Im running around. Usually while Im AFK for a couple mins or in the middle of a killing spree for a quest so I dont notice and when I do and look around there is no one there to buff back. >.< I have seen a few that buff and run away making it hard to chase them down to buff them back lol but the gesture is never un-appreciated and I hope people realize that. That being said, I try to buff any random people I see standing around or running by if Im able to target them. I'll stop running if I see someone in combat and go up and buff them. It is a nice thing to do and some people may be too nooby to realize what is going on or why and some might be those few that just dont care but I try to do it anyway. You just never know when that one extra buff may mean someone stays on their feet a little longer while questing.

I'd give anything to be able to kill Mako. It truely would be the happiest moment of my gaming history. I HATE that horrid, whiney little companion. I love BH...it is my favorite class or would be if I werent forced to take Mako everywhere. It would be much better if we could pick our companions. Or if you are going to force us with a certain set then let us choose who does what job. I'd rather take Gault around everywhere and have him be my healer. Anything would be better than Mako. She's usless and obnoxious.
