Makes me think of Portal, spend a lot of time on one level until you realize just how easy and obvious the solution is.

I usually only fight back in self defense, and win or lose I move on if I can. I like the idea of switching phases to get away from campers, that's brilliant.

I find it much easier to get a flash point group if you go to the questing planet of your level. Not sure about level 50, but the planets I've been to even have shuttles back to the flash point. I'm against the lfg tool myself, I prefer to physically form a group and even physically enter the dungeon compared to being teleported from anywhere in the game. But if they do add it, I hope it's just a server wide system, before Rift went cross server it was fun to group with familiar names and even see them later on while questing or in a city.

Roll Republic, on my server at least the General chat on the Republic side isn't bad at all. Though that's probably due to the low Republic population.

That's what I do for Flashpoints, just go to the planet I'm questing at and it makes it really easy to find a group. We needed two more for Athiss the other day, the party leader went to Taris and we had a full group in a few minutes.

I didn't read the entire OP or replies, but for me the story is extremely important. I was always the guy falling behind in a group in other mmo's because I would stop and read the quest text. I love how they have dialogue for every quest, I haven't spaced through any of it and don't plan to. If any mmo could keep my attention long enough to hit the max level, this would be it, and story would be the reason. I made it to 48 on Rift but just couldn't push myself to finish the final 2 levels. For me the fun is enjoying the story on the way to 50.

I'm pretty sure its been an mmo from the very beginning.
