  1. Thats a loaded question for 2 or 3 sentences... but I'll try. 1. How do you think your Mercenary spec is perceived by other classes? DPS is either weak or easy to counter in pvp and average in pve, Healer is harder to kill than a sorc easier than a op and heals less than both. 2. How do you perceive your own spec? I feel it's much harder to succeed in pvp than most classes as either a healer or a dps merc due to no interupt and 1 fairly weak strictly defensive ability. I also feel weak in pve but pve doesn't feel as demanding. Suggestions. DPS: Give us an interrupt and a jump. Make powershot/tracer unstoppable while shield is up if talented(much like a snipers entrench but we'd have to spend points). Healing: Make supercharged gas more meaningful... imo an aoe heal around us that moves with us while active that tics for a little less than the sorcs aoe(as it's mobile). This would lets us bring a very balanced yet unique and useful skillset to both pvp and pve.
  2. They are taunt-able so if your friend had his wookie doing his aoe taunt then that's probably why Kaliyo was stuck on him.
  3. 1. 8 2. 2 3. 8 4. 8 5. 8 To me, everyone generally is gonna have the same experience up to 50 for everything but pvp IMHO. But right now merc isn't the funnest for dps or heals on pvp.

    If you don't think that power techs need an adjustment to their sustained damage, you are either trolling or oblivious. If you don't think maras need an adjustment to their survivability... again you are either trolling or oblivious. There is ALWAYS gonna be fotm classes. That's not the question. The question is how fast a company can react and implement changes that curve player interest away from fotm and offer the fail classes things to grab player interest. This is one of the many things that promote re-rolling new classes and keeps the game fresh. FOTM: op Nerfed Month into FOTM status (End of December - Beginning of feb RIP) FOTM: Tracer Spam Nerfed 2 Months into FOTM status (End of Feb-Patch1.2 in May RIP) good track record so far... but one sorta sees how it's developing FOTM: Power Tech/Maras Going strong 2 months in with no indication of changes to day. So we're probably looking at 3 months or so.... if it keeps getting longer and longer to me it indicates they are getting tired of messing with pvp mechanics and are just gonna start focusing on pve gameplay. To each their own, but I don't like playing against the same classes over and over, which is what will happen if they leave things as is. People will either get tired of getting owned and just roll fotm or healer. Hopefully they just have things a little more balanced by the time they actually start offering some valid rewards for ranks instead of just purty colored uniforms...
  5. To me what I hope for with pvp in mmo's is about epic battles with lots of variation/skill sets. This is sorta what I would except from having 12+ moves and 3 different talent trees and paying a monthly fee. But it's all seemed very lacking lately. With classes that hit for 1/4th your health while you have ~1300 expertise(full warhero) it just seems kinda like oh... it's the op build again... oh well... And almost everyone of each class is the same build... It's not so much that fact that led me to cancel as much as it's BW's reaction to it... just seems kinda slow honestly. Player base has known for quite some classes are op and evidently people already know who the next class is going to be op. Most guys I've had serious talks with both on reddit/ingame and the forums knew this as early as 2days out of 1.2 and a good bit of them rolled these fotm classes. You would think BW would know this too. Is it a lack of coders? Lack of ideas on how to adjust it any better? Either way it's led to my cancellation. Even with the awesome transfers(best server transfer I've ever seen) Who knows, maybe if they make some cool adjustments prior to 8man ques I'll come back... How'd would they fix this? $hit man who knows... I don't get payed to come up with answers . But whatever you do play the game more before you do it, and us test the pvp changes next time without requiring so much crap to move guys over to test it! Prior to 1.2 was like having to get an act of congress to get on the test center! And 1.3 isn't doing much to pvp that I've heard :-/
  6. Ha, It's cool to see it's fairly obvious to the majority of people who needs buffs and and who needs nerfs.
