  1. enrage timers are the stupidest mechanic ever invented and have been since the first time they were used in wow. The most annoying thing i hear when raiding is to stuck it because we lose one person and cant make an enrage timer anymore. Enrage timers remove the ability for the raid to recover from a disaster and make an epic comeback, which if you watch any sports is one of the most entertaining things people like to watch. Its like watching a hockey game and the other team scores, then you just give up and forfeit the bloody game. Im old so i no longer remember what my point was for this post but yeah, enrage timers should not be used as a mechanic outside of nightmare mod, anything earlier and its just lazy design
  2. i hate the new circles, i hope they either switch it back or at least make it show up as it used to on higher graphic settings
  3. all these worthless patterns are just more stuff lagging the game when you load your crafting skill. Removing them would clean up whatever database they store all that crap in
  4. i dont think it was the servers, the website went down too. Only took a min or two to get back online

  6. I never had trouble finding mats when the 30s were the top craft able ones. The grade 11 exotic mats are too rare at the moment. As for the worth of crafting gear, A lot of people seem to disagree with the assessment that 192s aren't worth crafting. I would assume most people won't get more than 1 piece of gear per run of the good stuff even with a full clear of each SM instance (which is not a guarantee as many still have trouble getting past underlurker). So for min maxing it is quicker to just buy the stuff you need instead of farming for most people. For those saying to hold them until we can make 198s it is extremely unlikely we will be able to craft 198s with patch 3.2 which means that we probably wont be able to make them before summer if not longer. So thats a minimum of 4 months which is forever in an MMO. I barely touch HM raids atm and i've killed 3/10 so far. I would not be surprised if the population of people clearing HM content is much higher by that point than it is now, which would make farming 198s equivalent to farming 192s right now. This post is too long as it is so i'm stopping here
  7. 500 basic comms would probably be enough actually. That and fixing the ability to post on the GTN would make them much more available. Most weeks i go though at least 20 of them and I am really getting sick of fleet chat.
  8. The biggest problem right now with these mats is that they cannot be posted to the GTN. There is no excuse for such stupidity. I have to pretty much spend all day on fleet just to get enough transubstantiators to keep the things i make on the GTN and some days i cannot even do that.
  9. i would expect the mats obtained from the exploit have been used up by now. I know on my server it is a pain in the *** to find purple mats for the past week or so. Sitting around in fleet looking for those is not how i want to spend my day.

  11. One of the great things about this game that set it apart from wow was having relevant endgame crafting. Removing the top tier from being craft-able completely ruins that. Being able to craft the 30s, while not useless, is no where near as useful as being able to do the 26s and 27s was. I geared up all my alts in 27s, the time and effort put into that was worth it. Took at least 4 months to get all the relevant patterns. With the 30s not even being the top gear, the mats being much harder to obtain, and the RE chance being halved why would i even bother crafting stuff for my alts?, might as well just run story mode ops and faceroll my way through. I dont mind gearing a toon or 2 through raid drops, but most of my alts will be abandoned now because there is no way im going to raid across enough of them to get them all geared up this way. This is a crappy change and in my opinion lowers the appeal of the game. In my opinion they have gone too far with the changes. If they had just reduced the RE chance, and the mat drops but left in REing 72s, that would have been fine with me, a bit annoying considering how hard it was to learn some stuff at 20% (20 skill barrel 27s) I think that would have been sufficient to keep the crafting limited for a few months even with the REing of player made components. Or if they had removed the REing of player made mods and left the rest alone i could have eventually accepted that as well. Raiding isnt fun enough to keep me interested in playing for more than a month or 2 and i fear that I will not enjoy the game enough after 2.0 to keep playing for more than a few months, certainly not 4-6 months that seems to be the time between their raid releases
