LOL..Im out of analogies...Last one..You are top exec at your firm..worked Hard to get there..put in the hours..so kid who just Graduated yesterday just took the exact same position as you did..or did it in half the time...How do you feel? Same with this game. Fresh PVP'ers should not be afforded the gear and 3xValor update and should just work their way up like other b4 them...

I think we are missing the point of entire thread.. 1. Is it fair that players who chose the route of PVP in this game have to be on the same playing field as someone who just started to PVP..in terms of gear?? 2. You cannot have been PVP'ing all this time and expect to get invites to Nightmare mode based on your fresh LVL 50 gear...and they dont lower or equalize OPS for that? 3. So why should new PVP'ers be able to get a curve to be able to compete with others who have done nothing to PVP... Read all the fresh 50 WZ QQ's..I just hit 50 and im dying so fast..Flip that to PVE..but they didnt do nothing to equalize that...

In some cases yes..personally Im in Afghanistan..i work 10-12 hour days...no family..I use the other 6-7 hours for rest and refreshment..and obviously since i dont have the luxury of shooting to the mall wit the homies...play SWTOR...so if this make me Hardcore cus i spend 6 hours a day on this game then yes..And because of those 6 Hours a day spent in WZ..i do find I am significantly good at playing my class..which equates to real life..practice and time on anything will (should) make you improve

on the contrary.. Casual Doesnt paly alot..Doesnt care..cus of this lackadaisical game play is a skill level. Ie..i shoot freethrows2 times a week..I shoot Freethrows everyday..whos better? I dont understand why you people beleive what u are saying makes sense....

Yes..You are correct....thats why in terms of "gamers" there are different types..Casuals...which you might be..and Hardcores...Theres the kid that sells candy for his school by going to a few doors in his neighborhood, and theres that kid who gives the box to his mom, dad, to take to work..and sits in front of grocery stores selling his candy cus he wants the "incentive " more!!!

You contradicted yourself...earlier you said PVP for fun...Player vs Player to me is similar to Boxing or MMA fighting ..Vritually of course...and yes..for titles..yes for recognition...yes for gear..which translates as cash and prizes in the "real" world..........what are you saying

That actually would be a could Idea...it would solve alot..but in turn..noone is ever happy..people are already QQ'ing the fact Jugs get more medals than any other class..so noone will ever be happy..and they would find any excuse of why so and so shouldnt be on the top of the leaderboard..But it is a good suggestion

Then Why would we do anything in the game...just hang out..log in when the Patch comes to give it out for free....I personally Did the HWL grind back in Vanilla and was 2nd on my Server...It gave me a certain sense of accomplishment..(troll it if you like) But i had a goal..fealt the competition against the #1 guy..made it a little more fun and gave me a reason to play...and "Incentive" What are the "Incentives" to play this game if you can get everything w/out working for it in this game?

How would you feel if you raided for weeks on end to finally get what you wanted..to only have BioWare make it able for purchase with credits the next day? People who chose to go the PVP route in this game instead of PVE and grinded the Valor for the gear should stay rewarded as with those who raid..And i agree skill >Gear but..the only reason real PVP'ers pvp is for the gear, the recogition of being good...PVP is meant to be competitive..Not saying just cus you grind WZ ur good..but i would hope after 70 Valors lvls you at least know every aspect of your class..And to take that away from PVP'ers and give it away free to the casuals is a slap in the face

I agree...with you..about the War Hero set that wont require a valor level..but people thought that there was going to be some reward to it..And it wasnt announced till recently that it was all just a waste of time..As far as Elitest...Well you all know if you came from WOW what seperated Great Guilds from Crap Guilds? Progression and gear....this game every single player can do what the next guy can regardless of skill...

PVP is fun...but it should be competitive..ya its a grind to people who are competitive in nature..and want to be better than the next guy...And who shouldnt want to be better?
