  1. Ummm am i missing something here, does anyone know for certain an average player will only make 90 badges on average per match post 1.2? Taking into consideration the following patch information -The amount of Valor and Commendations awarded at the end of a Warzone is now based on your team's score, with a bonus for the winning team. Experience rewards are still based on the amount of time spent in the Warzone. -New medals are now awarded to the winning team based on how quickly they win (up to 6 medals for the fastest victories). -New medals are now awarded for offensive and defensive objective actions. There are now 6 offensive and 6 defensive medals awarded for performing Warzone-specific objective actions. -The Warzone reward medal cap has been increased to 8. -Rewards per medal earned have been rebalanced considering the new medals available.

I have to disagree based on my own vid in which I found carnage did very well, granted its a Q and A video to comments and mails, but if you just want to see carnage perform against everyone else in a match then feel free to check it out without the volume - That being said i think you did very well op and it showed some solid play. The music choice did ruin it quite a bit for me but thats not to say zomg dubstep, but more the actual choice of song. I don't think any song that repeats lyrics like *ginger - insert curse* would be in general well received, just my opinion and I'm well aware music is subjective, but that being said I'm also not sure what audience you were aiming at.
  3. What do you mean, my objectives where to do damage, kill and provide information on how other marauders can achieve that. Perhaps you would have preferred a 3 min fixed team play match where i get a ball from A to B with minimum amounts of effort? While that is within my power, I don't think the title of "this" thread or video would be very suiting for such.
  4. Nope, I made 1 real change per the discussion i had in the comments of that video and it was to obtain Pulverize. To do it, I took the points out of brutality and 1 from hemorrhage to complete it and i have to say it really pays off, but for it to work well, it requires you to be at a state where you are confident in damaging 2+ opponents at a time.   5. That's actually a very very good point Cempa and something I have actually unknowingly taken too much for granted in my video's. I'll put some more focus on this in the future.
  6. Unfortunately no due to the fact you are required to lvl a character from 1-50 again which is a lot of time to put in for testing. I would gladly do it if i could do a character transfer or even get the option of creating a 50 character, but i know by the time i get to a point i could viably test any of the specs, 1.2 will be out a few weeks I did however lvl to 10 to see the new WZ and some of the pvp, class, cost and talent changes I may get around to covering some of those this week
  7. Hey all, some of you may know I've made a lot of video's in regards to trying to help players bring there lvl of game play up to a competitive level in pvp and pve for this class. I've been providing alot of hints and tips as well as keybinds and spec information. This next vid is to try provide some more of that solely based around a style of play that suits the marauder very well when solo queuing. Once again its not aimed at the elite player who knows all of this but more for players frustrated with the class. Hopefully there is some info here you will find useful. Thanks for watching

I pushed just under 400k damage as carnage in this vid granted your willing to ignore the commentary The only problem with carnage is that its just not as good as annihilation spec, same can be said for rage spec, this doesn't make either of the specs bad in any way shape or form, just when one seems to out-perform the others, the general idea is, the other specs must be **** I think carnage is the most "FUN" of the specs, shiny bursty numbers on demand = fun! But fun isn't enough for alot of people
  9. Hi abaddon, i couldn't help but notice from this pic that you might actually be suffering from play style more then anything. I see you don't have any key bound in your interface and are using the default frames, have you considered switching up to keybind/macro play? Alot of people don't realize the power in using keybinds over clicking, or at least optimizing keybinds from 1-10 to using the qertfg key..etc would suggest you look into this, it can really help.

  12. I made a series or playlist on this pre and post release.. Granted its focused without the razor naga, but if you have some time, you can follow it through, there's 6 episodes in general and its designed to help manage a lot of keybinds, controls, things to look for and mouse usage. As you have a naga you can always swap out some keys your may find the most uncomfortable, for example: ctrl+(keybind) for naga 1-9 link is here Hope this helps
  13. Hey Atreyuz, this is caused by the size of the resolution you recorded on versus the size you rendered on. If you want to do 720p rendering, you'll have to set your game resolution to 1280x720 and record full, it might look crappy playing at that resolution but the video will turn out perfect.

From what i've read accuracy isn't remotely that powerful over 100% As for Malice, DoTs are Internal Damage, based on Force Power and there for utilize Force Crit, so its not really just for force scream and force choke which makes it very useful for annihilation more so then accuracy. With pulvurize talented its rng based which may or may not reset the timer, and should it reset after the use of annihilate/vicious slash? Then there's a very high chance I'll just be re-applying it over an existing rupture, wasting rage and losing damage.. I generally try to avoid RNG based talents.

  18. I wouldn't say I'm being offensive at all, just stating what i see. And i don't exactly see the point your trying to prove? 3:34-3:41 shows just how powerful this is with the use of OOC mechanics, because without it he would have had to hide and recover, or risk 1-2 hit death no? All I'm saying is that stating the class is perfectly fine while using niches designed to give an upper hand rather then a necessary crutch just appears wrong. you can believe what ever keeps you the most happy.
  19. Little defensive aren't we now.. Check your own end specs in the vid @4:22.. 81k healing done, second one @6:35.. 77k healing done and your carnage spec.. basic math states your chugging pots and hogging in game heal boxes to than allow you to state the class is ok and tmk the ingame boxes don't count towards actual healing done... so your 75k badges are preety obvious. Each of those total amounts = equivalent to 5 additional deaths.. its a very very big difference.
  20. Its not a bad video, my only issue with it is that you pop stims and med packs like a junkie.. This completely negates your title... as your video kinda states marauders are fine, if your companion skill is biochem with infinite pots and additional pvp medpacks In fact i see that with nearly all the video's and screenshots from people who think marauders are fine and dandy.. drop your biochem and rely solely on class ability, make a live stream showing this without a heal buddy and see how strong you really are. Niches like these shouldn't make you believe the class is okay.
  21. Yeah one, if your in full champ gear, why do you take narrowed hatred? Is going well over 100% accuracy really that powerful? over say deep wounds and malice/ravager..etc

  23. Well thanks for the feedback, always interesting to read. And you are right, i'm an anni speced pvper so some immediate habits are hard to break, probably should have just moved rupture off the bar, lesson learned. Have to disagree with the afker bit though, I think this class is ridiculous in how easily it can be killed and I want to break that rule becuase i don't think its "ok" to just be a sacrificial lamb and die for the sake of a KB, I was in position and scored after a few attempts, which secured the game ontop of boosting and keep people of the ball, i was also assisting damage on every target with this play and by the end i had what? 43 kills, i wouldn't say that too bad, remember it a live commented entertainment video to show how well you can use the spec in mid gear, not a high end heavily edited check my epic damage vid.
  24. Yeah I don't quite understand what's with this talent, but for argument's purpose i've just unspec'd as i'll be focusing on rage spec this evening, time granted. I agree about the bug reasons with using ravager but for me a small bug isn't enough reason not to take 10 seconds on force choke, would come down to which would actually be more beneficial from the remaining 1st tiers. Also on the note of malice, i was under the impression, choke, scream, smash and ataru form hits were affected by this 3 of which I use quite a lot, but again open for thought. The accuracy talent is actually bugged as it applies 6% to melee instead of 3 to force..etc, I have 5 pieces of champ gear and without talents I'm only 97%, can try this yourself if you have time The only other difference i see in your spec is your being forced to pop pointed into defensive roll, which I don't personally feel the need to as I see this as a pure pve mechanic to help healers, but if you are however capped in accuracy, your either forced to spend the points to tier up, or alternatively put the accuracy in anyway for your OH damage which again open for thought Finally please be aware i don't generally pvp as carnage, it was for video purposes, so i have some old annihilation habits
