I agree with a purge of names for peeps that have been sitting on characters for a certain amount of time without logging in. Some people are more attached to names they have used in other MMO's for years and other players could give a care less about that. For the players that want to keep their names, log in and play some SWTOR!!!! Yes, it is easy to create new names, no argument there but some players want to connect to the characters they create and a name can make a huge difference. For me I think that a name is just as important as the gear. If you like all aspects of your toon than you are more apt to play more and want to progress that same toon. This is just how I feel.

Just pay for the sub if you want all the bells and whistles. If $15 a month is too much for you to pay than you have other issues in life that you should be looking at other than playing a video game and than complaining about it when you didn't spend a dime in the first place.

I know there are guilds out there that do not want to join a large guild for various reasons and our guild members are of that mindset (we currently have 14 members). Recruiting the right people for your guild can be a tricky thing due to many reasons. Some of them are: Do they fit your guild personality? When can they run Ops? What classes are you looking for? and the list can go on and on. For us small guilds I was wondering if any out there would like to form an alliance of some sort for those that want to push end game progression but still want to keep our identity of our guilds. We would have to sit and talk as how to work it out but I think we all could help each other out and who knows where it can go from there. Help each other out with Ops that need maybe only one or two people of various classes, Flash points, World Bosses or just to socailize. I think it would be a great way to reach out to the guilds that are struggling with personnel issues for what ever they want to do. Insulting and getting mad at players that have the time to play more than you is not the solution to your problem man. Find a group of people to play with (usually called guilds) that are like minded on what you need out of the game.

I have not had this problem myself but have met more than a few people out in the game and a few joined our guild. I guess it comes down to what kinda person you are. Some can play alone and be totally content and others are playing for the social aspect as well as the game exp. I know you said you were not looking for guild but I feel that is the best way to meet people and fight the boredom of lone wolfing it. I feel the game is sooo much better when you can enjoy it with friends new and old.

Midnight is an adult guild that was formed pre-release of the game and was forced to change servers a few times (like many of you as well) and continued into the SWTOR galaxy. Most members are longtime MMO players (and friends) that have left WoW and others behind to enjoy SWTOR. After a whole year of playing and subbing to this game and we get fireworks...bioware don't put yourselves out too much for this we wouldn't want you all to strain yourselves.

I really enjoy playing this game but it did fall short of my expectations on different areas but I still will be playing this game for a long long time. I hope BW continues to improve on thier ideas and bring us good stuffs. The patches (in my opinion) haven't been ground breaking in any way but they did add to it and each one has made the game a little better with each patch so that is a good sign:) I am not saying SWTOR is a bad game at all, but I think it could be SOOOOOO much more!

I can understand the frustration on the augments install cost, I am one of the frustrated, there is no reason for that at all. As well as the cost of removing mods is just plain wrong and yet a waste credits. BW has created some pretty hideous gear and than punished us for wanting to keep our characters not looking like total galactic rejects by having a mod removal fee so we can keep gear that we actually worked for and like! The legacy fees really don't bother me at all due to I feel that too many people want everything handed to them with no work at all. Plus no one is forcing you to purchase the perks anyways so complaining about the cost of legacy perks is just saying "give me everything because I don't want to work for it!" However, I do agree with that legacy perks should be LEGACY wide not this individual perk stuff...what makes this legacy if it is not shared by your Legacy Tree? nothing...

I hit legacy lvl 50 about 3 or 4 weeks ago. I have three 50's and most of the legacy was attained during dailies.
