Hmm, how do I feel about SWTOR... Pretty disapointed. In fact very disapointed ! And before any short-minded idiots start flaming me, Ive already subbed for the next 3 months, I fully intend to support SWTOR for at least that long. But nobody can deny the amount of faults and bugs with the game is beyond a joke. Now with the none release of 1.1 its getting kinda embarrasing. The guys at Blizzard must be wetting themselves laughing at the moment and that really p*sses me off cause I wanted this game to be great !

Technically not so.. If you think about the letters MMO the whole concept is designed around player - player interactivity. The highest for of this is what we now refer to as PvP. Every MMO has single player content, yet when you think about it all that is for is to allow the player to level up ! Dont get me wrong, I enjoy flashpoints, Dungeons, Raids (whatever name you like) but in the end these can be beaten by simply learning the pre-programmed mechanics. NO game (or computer) yet can match the unpredictability and limitless options that another player can ! The whole PvP and MMO genre is intertwined, it always will be. Future MMO's will 'have' to continue to focus on PvP... at least until AI rivals the human brain ! ! !

Lets face it, its not the first time they have screwed the EU players ! Cheers Bio, as if all the bugs and faults weren't enough, you figure another way to flip players the bird !

lol... I am lv50. And even though Im looking forward to seeing/playing the new content. I would gladly wait if it meant myself and all the newer players could have a better gaming experience ! But I guess each has their own opinon.

@Bioware... Guys any chance we can get an official stance on the following - Gear color match option PvP warzone selection Legacy system Hi rez graphics Gear color match and hi-rez were removed prior to launch. Legacy never made it and PvP selection has been promised. BUT... everything seems to have gone quiet now. Regularily read the Dev forum but nothing said there, so whats happening with these ???

Technically not so. I can say for a fact (was there at the time) WoW didnt start adding content that soon, and despite all their faults now... nobody can deny it was (and is) the biggest MMO in history ! Futher more, I never said they shouldnt add content, I just stated that they should get the basics fixed first ! Adding content is basically just a gimmic to keep the subscribers paying !

Now dont get me wrong, its great to see Bio wanting to enhance our game experience and give us more content so early ! BUT... Wouldn't you guys be better off spending the time and man hours fixing the miriad of bugs and problems the game already has ! ! ! I mean lets face it, the game is far from polished, faults are abundant and yet you seem keen to throw more into the mix ? All this is going to do (most likely) is add even more problems and bugs and cause even more annoyance to the player ! Get yourselves focused Bio, you cant build a skyscraper on rocky foundations ! ! !

Yes Im well aware of that. That however was not my point. The point was why have Bioware decided that we are not allowed to decide for ourselves how we want to play the game. Dont get me wrong I like huttbal, but getting voidstar once in like 30 hours and alderaan 0 times in more than 48 is not what I would call 'good player experience' ! Id like, no I guess Id demand, that I should be able to play each warfront at least twice per day if I wanted too ! Its really quite insulting to say yes you can pay to play our game, BUT you are not going to be given the choice how you spend that time !

@Bioware Right, Im not normally one for complaining (my wife might disagree) BUT for 2 days now I have not been able to play the Alderaan warfront ! It was more than 24 hours before I mangaged to get voidstar ( w t f ) WHY?... because the RNG has decided not to let me ! ! ! Question to Bioware - "Do you think its acceptable that as a paying customer I am restricted from partcipating in a section of the game through no fault of my own?" Why in gods name does this game not have the ability to choose which warfront we want to join. Other MMOs have this (WoW, Rift etc) why have you chosen to omit this from the game? Other players Ive teamed or spoken with have had similar problems and like me, they would be prepared to wait 15-20mins for a warfront, if they knew they would be able to participate in one they wanted too ! Please Bio, sort this out asap

Right now Im still trying to decide if this post is a troll or the OP genuinely doesnt know what he(she) is talking about ? Gearscore does NOT allow you to check a players skill ! It simply means they are wearing decent gear. They can get that by being a cr ap player and allowing other group members to basically boost them through content ! Now... "Wipe over and over until I found a good bunch of players" ? YES.. thats exactly what you're supposed to do. ITS CALLED BUILDING A COMMUNITY ! ! Thats way you make friends, enjoy the game and share your experiences with other players ! And if you think thats not what this game is about?.... WHY the hell are you even playing an MMO ? ? ?

Agreed, I play SI and soon as a melee class gets near me Im toast. Or if in huttball, soon as a SW or BH catch us.. we're screwed ! ! (and I consider myself to be a decent PvP player) Think about this guys, the classes are pretty well fine as they are. We (you) keep QQ about OP and nerfs its going to end up like WoW where they buff and nerf every class each month. then they gonna keep making you re-spec, then you're gonna complain again, then.... get the idea ! My suggestion.. If it aint broke... don't fix it. Cause ATM its working pretty well

Hmm, so I have to play the side I don't want to. Roll a character I won't enjoy. Just so I can try to enjoy something Im paying for ??? Feck me. Im beginning to think its not the game thats at fault, its the number of self concerned players that dont give a sh*t about the SWTOR community as a whole ! !

I like huttball too. The point is I'd like to be able to enjoy the other warfronts also. Im not saying take out huttball, just allow us to choose what and how we want to play.

Nice to see there are still some idiots who care more about themselves than the game. I'd be willing to bet if it was your side that this happens to you'd be on here QQ like mad. I made a simple obsevation, backed up from like-minded players on my server (PvP server) and even those that have Reb characters agree this option should be in-game. If you thought more about the community and less about making idiotic comments I'd probably take you seriously ! (go troll elesware)

That hardly solves the problem though does it guys ? In fact, it makes it worse as that would also dictate which side you need to play as well AND even then you would still not be certain of getting a specific warfront ! ?

@Bioware Please guys, take out the random PvP selection. OR better still add an option for the player to choose which PvP warfront they want to play ! I did not subscribe to this game to have the RNG dictate to me which parts of the game I can (or can't play) It took 2 hours (very slightly over) yesterday to get something that wasn't Huttball ! ! ! Twelve times I had to que, eleven times I got huttball (I did play a few times) and I had to re-que until finally, on the twelth attempt I got into Alderaan. And after that... yep flammin Huttball again ! (didn't get voidstar at all yesterday) Its a joke that we cannot decide for ourselves which warfront we want. Other players Ive spoken too agree (like me) they would be happy to wait 10-15 mins for a warfront if they knew they would end up getting the one they want. The way you're doing it now pretty well makes it impossible for a player to be certain of doing each warfront each day ! The 'other' major MMOs (WoW, Rift ect) allow their players to decide. Why have you chosen not to give us (your paying subscribers) that option ???

For me it actually would be too, I start work around about midnight. BUT being fair and sticking to supporting the EU player base, the times Bioware are doing the EU mainenance is a freakin insult !

Yep, Bioware have managed to sh*t on the EU players again ! Off-peak ! ? ? ? They're either stupid or they need to get new batteries for their clocks, cause having a maintenance that covers mid-day certainly ISN'T off-peak !

Have to disagree there, IMO the datacron system is a massive GRATZ for Bioware. Very rarely nowdays does a company put something into a game that is so hard to achieve. The datacron system rewards those who are willing to put in the effort (and time) to go look for them. I find this rewarding and it actually gives a sense of achievement, which is something many MOs are lacking nowdays ! WELL DONE Bio, nice vid link OP

Can we please get a function that allows players to choose which PvP warfront 'they' want to play ! ? Dont get me wrong, leave in the random function for those who want it. But for those who prefer certain warfronts, or like me just enjoying doing each one once per day, give us the option to choose. Being dictated to by the RNG certainly spoils it (for me anyway) and every other MMO I know allows the fee paying player to choose how they wish to spend their subscribed game-time ! Thanks

Personally Id like to play at least one of each per day AND NOT have the RNG dictate to me what I can and can't play ! Every other MMO has the ability to choose, why doesn't SWTOR ???

Now im posting this from the viewpoint of Sith Inquisitor (it may be different for other classes) The situation is - You are on planet A and you want to go to planet B ok. So... You go to your ship - you enter your ship - you leave the planet = All good so far NOW it gets weird... You are onboard your ship - you exit your ship - you arrive on the planet ! ! You see my point? How the hell can you exit your ship WHEN YOU'RE STILL IN SPACE ! ! ! Surely BW you have some guys in continuity dept that realise you need to enter the planets atmosphere BEFORE you leave the ship ! !
