  1. I like the space combat. Its kinda easy sure, and not much point after you hit 50 unless you need money really badly. But it's relatively well done, doesn't feel tacked on just to have space combat in there, and it seams to be the least buggy part of the game. There is no requirement to play it, but its there if you want to do it.
  2. So far Ive played a bit of Jedi, and my main is lvl 50 sith. As a sith inquisitor my main goal through the story is the accumulation of power, I do what im told when I need to but overall what I do I do for me and me alone. This I can relate to in some sense at least. As a Jedi, even picking darkside options, I do things for other people for no discernable reason other than I'm a jedi and jedi are good guys. I find this wholy and completely uninteresting, and I for one, naver having been a monk, cannot relate to this at all.
  3. The whole point of deleting your character is that you cannot get him back, ever. He is now one with the force, He i an Ex-character, he has moved on and will never come back, You have struck him down and he is now more powerful that you could ever imagine, He is sleeping with the fishes, He has a commitment to destiny that cannot be revoked... I dont know how else to put this, but if you deleted your character he's gone forever.
  4. To all the ppl saying" you can do FPs without talking, whats the problem?", your missing the point. FPs require ppl to work together, placing pressure on each team member to contribute to the group. Especially in smaller 4 man groups, the pressure to perform in optimally can be quite high since just one member under performing can lead to a wipe. This to me seams a far more intimidating prospect to someone with social anxieties than posting on a forum. To the OP, you're not really missing much TBH, i've played a Sith Assassin to lvl 50 and the vast majority of the FPs are nothing more than 3 corridors with a boss at the end and a obligatory light/dark side choice thrown in which most of the time boils down to just a "be a dick" vs. "dont be a dick" choice that has no meaningful implications on your ccharacter or the actually FP. If you want to play the FPs relevant to KOTOR just level to 50 and solo Boarding Party and The Foundry on normal.
  5. From what I can tell Nomal mode OPs and HMs have about the same gear requirements, unlike WoW where you had to do Heroics to gear up for Raids. NM OPs and HMs are about as hard, meaning more people have access to more content. That's also probably why there are 3 difficulty levels for OPs. Also D7s HM is not that bad, only really hard part is Bulwark, but as long as you have decently geared DPS that know their **** he's very killable, actually one of the few bosses where I like the enrage timer, since it fit's well into the Boss mechanics and puts pressure on the DPS to perform well. Too many times i feel just like im just filler to be able to make up a full group after the tank and healer.
  6. Tbh yes i'd love a stealth bar and I'm madness. I already have so many abilities cluttering up my bottom 2 bars that i have to keep my stealth stuff up on the sides and its just annoying. Having a stealth bar would free up some space. Also gieff proc effects like WoW, im tired of looking at the bottom of the screen all the time to watch for exploit weaknes or crushing darkness procs... also Ponies, this game could use Ponies... and Tonton mounts... and solid gold robes. Yeah, why dont I have my solid gold robes yet?
  7. I played Tankassin to lvl 20 and had a blast with it, i changed my spec madness to play with my bros Jugg since he wanted to tank. TBH Madssassins are very gear dependent, so much of the spec relies of crit procs that untill you get to around 30-40 where you can really start to pile up crit ratings your not gonna be able to play the spec at full efficiency. On top of that its a pretty hard spec to play, you have to manage unearthed knowledge buff, you maul and crushing darkness procs, refresh your dots in time, and not forget to spam death field every CD while doing all of that, but once you do get your head around it you dmg goes through the roof, especially against bosses where you have time to set everything up. I'd say madness is not a good PvP spec just because the amount of time you need to spend setting yourself up for max dmg, but if you like micro there is no better class for you.
  8. I haven't tried Deception yet, but i can give some thoughts on Madness up to lvl 30. Madness is a really weird DPS build, its pretty much a short ranged caster spec, your mostly working at the 10m range. Pve your doing very nice dmg, but PvP you just dont have the survivability or burst for 1v1's, however you can really rack up the dmg in groups when people arent paying attention to you.
  9. Wierd fix that seams to work atm: Use the high preset, press apply Then set to the low preset and apply seams to be something bugged about how the game optimises the graphic settings if you start changing them manually.
  10. From what i've seen the Merc, Sorc and Operative arent really specifically healing classes like in most MMOs, they just have the option for a healing tree. Most of their healing spells seam to come from talents as well so its not a matter of a healer that can spec for DPS but more a DPS class that can spec for Healing.
