  1. I've been saying this all day. All indicators point to this. <3 you.
  2. The idea to stop waves was stupid/over-cautious. My guess: tons get in tomorrow.
  3. Bumpity-bump for happiness' sake.
  4. No trolling, no complaining in this thread. Just take these facts into account: 1. The beta stress showed what their servers are capable of. 2. Today showed obviously that more people should have been let in (both in-game and out-of-game people complaining, some rightfully so). 3. They said they'd be letting larger volumes of waves in tomorrow. Conclude: A lot of people will get in tomorrow. I'd (optimistically) say that most (even December) pre-orders will be in by the end of the 15th. Bottom Line: Don't worry. Be happy.
  5. Grumzz, check out the image posted in this thread for actual in-game server pops. The one on this website isn't functioning and, as someone else mentioned, I don't think it's worked properly since beta.
  6. Exactly. So, basically my message to everyone wigging out over EGA is... A whole lot of people are probably going to get in tomorrow to remedy this. ... Am I wrong?
  7. Thanks. I wasn't gonna bother trying to explain that the server page we see on the forums in no way represents the in-game. I'm not trolling or complaining that I'm not in. Like I said, I don't really care when I get in. I'm just looking at BioWare's strategy. Someone mentioned they forgive them for this -- I don't even think they need forgiving, I'm <3 BioWare, and having played in beta I know this is a terrific game. I'm just talking about EGA, and again, for clarifications sake, really not complaining about it. The only thing that seems wrong now is that people who are actually in game are now complaining, too, about not enough people being let in. I didn't see this coming with all the mega-talk of massive pre-orders in July. I'm a long-time BioWare fan and am confident everything will be handled, but it does seem they were a bit over-cautious today. Or they were just trying to please the people who did pre-order immediately. Either way it's admirable, I suppose. Learning lesson for then next EGA MMo: if your servers kick ***, don't underestimate them.
  8. As I said I don't really care when I get in (... maybe just a little bit), but I wouldn't be surprised if by "larger waves" tomorrow they mean much larger. And the whole "people who have jobs" argument doesn't make any sense, think it through and account for the stress tests.
  9. I'm optimistic and don't really care when I get in, to say first of all. But, I am questioning whether BioWare has handled this whole thing properly. At first it was just the rage over not getting to play. That I laughed at. But now I'm seeing threads from people in-game complaining they can't get groups together for BT (first flashpoint) because there's so few people. And there's the PVP thing (not really a big deal in my opinion, so I was hesitant to even mention it). The simple solution does seem to be let more people in ... And hopefully tomorrow they do just that. A lot more, hehe. ;P
  10. Thanks for the bumps peeps. Any info on any additions to character creation (if any) would be <3'd.
  11. Bump. Forums are set to Ludicrous Speed...
  12. ... I might be the only one here, but as long as they fix it soon, I don't see a problem. When I get into the game, I think it will be cool that there are a few exploiting noobs way higher level than me. I'm an immersion fan, and seeing some level 50 players will add to that... More powerful Sith, etc. Just my 2c.
  13. I recall there being some rumors/speculation that between beta and now they were redoing Body Type 4 -- "The Fatty." I personally don't mind (but would never play as) the Fatty, but think the game would definitely benefit from a Body Type 2.5. Just curious as to whether any changes were implemented on that front/character creation as a whole. Thanks to anyone who pries away from the game long enough to brave these forums.
  14. Dear Bioware, I love you. Keep up the good work.
  15. I didn't want to post a breakdown like this because it isn't worth the potential nerdrage backlash, but I think you're pretty much right. Their 'Cartmanland' strategy thus far has worked well: promise less, deliver more. They promise at least one day of early access for everyone who preordered... I'd bet money that most, if not all, will be in by the 16th.
  16. I wasn't going to lower myself to post in this thread. Then I took an arrow to the knee.
  17. I can feel your anger ... It gives you focus, makes you stronger... ... qq.
  18. My very young apprentice, learn to use (and read) the resources available to you. There's TONS of information regarding early access/waves/etc. between posts on this site, Twitter, etc... Look around. And chill out.
  19. /signed for positivity! Gogo Bioware, among the vocal trolls there are many of us who love you.
