  1. I agree that we need them. I guarantee you they're coming.
  2. http://www.twitch.tv/decembercrew Join us! Decembrists, D-Crew, whatever you want to call us... unite here! Livestream and chat while we wait.
  3. Waves start at 7:00 PST. They've been pretty vague as to "how many/how big" regarding the waves.
  4. ... For clarity's sake, the quote: 'Cmon, Stu, don't you get the game yet?' Phone Booth. Fun, short little movie.
  5. The subject is a random movie quote that I didn't expect anyone to get. But regarding BioWare policy: it's obviously been a major focus of their marketing strategy all along (notice all of the people on the boards referencing 'Cartmanland'), and it's worked out well for them. I say kudos to them, even if not everyone gets in tomorrow. Any reasonable logic suggests that if anyone was left out after tomorrow, they'd for sure be in by the next day.
  6. I'd take that bet. But the decimal leads me to believe you're a Euro player, so we won't be on the same server. ;P
  7. No nerdrage here. Just observations. Honestly, the "omg nerdrage" on these forums is being replaced by the sort of trolls who have responded in this thread so far. ... Surprised to see a thread that isn't a bunch of complaining or going bonkers, I guess? If anyone with something worth saying wants to weigh in, please do.
  8. The game: under-promise, over-deliver. BioWare/EA have been using this like crazy for this game, even when it came to release date discussion (remember the 'might not be out 'til 2012?'?). Also, just take a look at how the EGA has been handled in general: it exemplifies this principal. In addition, they've shown that, from a technical standpoint, they have the ability to get most EGAs in tomorrow (save perhaps mid/late December as I'd imagine there was a spike in preorders there). They promised to get to the last week of November in tomorrow. They'll deliver a lot more than that. I don't feel that this is blind fanboy White Knighting for BioWare, but an informed guess based on their very deliberate movements, posts, etc. throughout beta, EGA, and so on.
  9. I think they'll finish November tomorrow despite the spike in sales that month. If they finish November, the Number of December pre-orders (especially early December) are significantly less, so (again, especially for early December) I feel the odds are good.
  10. While I hope you're right and I do think this is what BioWare is playing at (getting just about everyone in tomorrow), SR is very careful about how he phrases things. "Letting even more in tomorrow" is very vague -- he could mean just more people let in, in a general sense, or specifically that on Friday more will be let in than Thursday. Read some of his other, more recent posts. He's equally as cautious there. But I still get the feeling that tomorrow's the day... Edit: If that was confusing, let me rephrase: he could mean that on Friday more players are being let in, period. Or he could mean more people are being let in than were let in on Thursday.
  11. My only gripe based on what I played in beta is specifically the body types in character creation. They need a 2.5.
  12. I'm so glad this thread is still going strong. 12/5!
  13. Pretty much how I feel feel, but a little optimism doesn't hurt*(edit). I mean... It's one day. Or two days. No biggie either way haha.
  14. Have MORE hope. I'm 12/5, too, and we're gettin' in tomorrow! Optimism wins.
  15. Ahh, my procrastinating brethren. I've been following this game for years and even played in general beta, but didn't preorder 'til... the 5th. Go December! Long live procrastination!
  16. Maybe they're listening to the angry mobs and waiting to see how the servers handle the LARGE amount of people they already let in. Maybe they haven't said "Final Wave" so that the option of more waves depending on server load is available... Maybe.
  17. Austin, Texas, USA. Nicest city in Texas, in my opinion.
  18. This has been my interpretation all day. Don't understand all the fuss.
  19. Was doing Skyrim with lightning magic, but now I'm just starting to lose my mind.
  20. Yeah, not the best day for the TOR forums... If anything, this will go down in history as the most *****ed-about-for-real-legitimate-reason launch in history.
  21. This is probably the smartest thread I've seen on these forums in... Ever.
  22. Didn't read any of the thread, just read the subject. Agree. It's launch. BioWare called it launch today. Accept the truth, naysayers.
