  1. Title says it all.. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Edit:: Sorry, the Heroic is done on Dromund Kaas at lvl 15.
  2. It's been reported several times over. Some Companions are bugged that way right now. It's up there with being attacked while you are still in a cutscene.
  3. I do Server Support for a major smartphone OEM and I can say that balancing Server load, redundancy, test environments, and integrity is a tricky thing. Bottom line, there is no way to truly test anything concerning load balancing until it is in a live environment. That is especially going to be true here. There is no way that BW is properly prepared to support a high end roll out. There's no way that any company could support that efficiently from all angles unless they had every server in the world running their software. This is why so many people cite the fact that MMO roll outs are usually the worst in regards to load balancing. IMO, they are using a good strategy here. It's obvious because nothing has actually failed in regards to up time yet. They see an issue, they take the Servers down, implement whatever fix comes out of the test environment, and then put it live again. The queues allow them to monitor heavy traffic statistics on a bulk level instead of running the risk of rebooting the servers, which means downtime anyway. It's being done better than I have seen most roll outs, and is being approached from a Network perspective rather than a run of the mill marketing scheme. With one, the other will suffer IMO.
  4. I think the problem exists between his keyboard and chair. me < troll
  5. I dunno, play WOW for another 6 months until SWTOR get's an update?
  6. Seriously? You've got inferiority complex something fierce if you are sleep depriving yourself to be "The First" to level cap in a theme park MMO.
  7. You can right click any quippable item from your inventory and it will replace your current quipped item. If it won't quip, you will get a red warning on the screen indicating what the limitation is. If you drag and drop, you run the risk of destroying an item if you are not paying attention and then get click happy. Also, as a disclaimer on your behalf, some have found that this process lags and they are sitting there clicking clicking clicking... and then when the server catches up, the item is deleted. go to your fleet station, find your commendation vendor and buy a lightsaber. Edit:: Oh yeah - the beasts on the outskirts of the Heroic Area on Dromund Kass, like the STRONG Level 13s, drop lightsabers all day long.
  8. BW, can we can get an Amen?... Poof!.. It's done.
  9. LOL @ the current Server Status... Every Single Server is Full. Life Goes On.
  10. Play with fire and you get burned. I will say that with certain cut scenes, I've noticed that you can lag out and combat has already commenced while you are still technically in the cut scene, the cut scene ends, and you're at half health.
  11. The NPC is either in your fleet station or near the market place on your Capitol World.
  12. Did you find him? If not, then they are either on your fleet station or near the market places on the Capitol Worlds. EDIT:: Cool... ya found em.
  13. The Pre-Order timeframe and the actual Game release timeframes did not coincide because of the distribution timeframes from the retailers. This is not a perfect world. My Game Status says that I will be able to play the Game after December 27th, but it estimates that based on the actual retail order. I've been playing since day 1 of the actual early game access. BW never deviated from it's original goal, which was to allow people to play early depending on when they actually used their unlock code. They even pushed the timeframe out by 2 days to ensure this. It's not their fault, or responsibility, to make sure that every GameStop employee knows this or understands how it is supposed to work.
  14. I think the OP was one of those that originally QQ'd in regards to the differences in the social aspects of the game instead of pursuing actual combat proficiency. I've already had a run in on my server with a couple of people that have told me that I'm overpowered (BH) because I can solo certain Elite Bosses. No! I am not overpowered. I have simply played the game to a good level of progression instead of standing around talking in GenChat while not paying attention to gearing my character to compliment my play style and core attributes. Stop dilly dallying and start concentrating on actually playing the game!
  15. If you follow the basic template for your crafting profession, then 50 items will be more than enough once you've leveled your gathering, crafting, and mission skills. The idea, IMO, is to persuade you to use gathering and mission skills toward leveling your crafting. From my experience, your companion's crafting skill bonus combined with the related gathering and mission items is what you should shoot for, as they compliment each other. For instance, I went BH - Slicing, Cybertech, and Underworld Trading. I did this because Slicing and Underworld Trading both will yield specific items for Cybertech Crafting, exclusively. Mako has +5 Cybertech efficiency and +15 Slicing efficiency as of now. Eventually, I will get Gault who has +10 to Underworld Trading. I'm not trying to flood the market with misc. crap that I gathered for the time being. I'm wanting to use the items that I have gathered and have acquired through trading to bolster my Cybertech. Once I have leveled a certain time in Cybertech, I should be able to demand more credits for what I sell. This should limit the amount of items I will need to sell in the first place to get good profits. 50 items is more than enough, IMO.
