  1. They may be trying to complete their speeder quest and not need the FP that gets selected for them.
  2. Unsurprisingly, for good PvP gear you have to PvP. I am on the wrong timezone server, get to PvP on 50s for an hour or 2 at any one time and I'm about to hit 70. It's easy to get the gear.
  3. Will be Armormech, Imp Side, Medium armour. Anyone seen an Orange version of this headgear? Could be from a Flashpoint, Heroic, whatever but anyone know of one? http://assets-cloud.enjin.com/wall_embed_images/1338242931_Screenshot_2012-05-28_17_08_34_622139.jpg
  4. In terms of PVP? Nope. There's a strong PVP community on ICE Breaker with DrunkenJediMasters, House AE and Treachery. We can't wait for server merges/cross server though because our overall server population isn't high.
  5. Anyone managed to crit War Hero gear since the last update? I've been making bodies all day today and yesterday.... and can't. I've done it before on a head piece...
  6. Just wanted to post that the active server population on the Republic side at least on ICE Breaker is getting incredibly low. Whilst I play on a PVE EST server (to be with friends) my playtime does mean I have to play Afternoon/Early Evening during the week. I appreciate this is not the best time to play however at weekends I can play during prime time. Planet/Fleet/Republic numbers are dropping alarmingly fast. A few people I know have started characters on other servers. I don't want to lose my Legacy and Valor Rank so am reluctant to do that. Also, I do have some friends on this server. Is there anyway that servers could be closed and transfers to other light servers be encouraged? Could new accounts be prevented from being created on the Heavy servers and free transfers allowed so that groups are encouraged to migrated to lighter servers? There is still enough to do, if you have the people but I see my friends logging in less and less and it's depressing. Looking forward to hearing about how server populations are going to be actively managed in the future.
  7. I think we need something to be done about server populations. The longer the quieter servers stay quiet, the more likely those people on those servers quit. I'm on ICE Breaker and it's getting quieter and quieter. Many people are start characters on Fatman just because they don't know what else to do. This week has been especially bad. People are logging in less and less. Close some servers, give people free transfers to some of the lighter servers where accounts are being actively played and see where things are then. I'd stop people being able to create characters on the busiest servers for a while. I appreciate that some people will be locked out from playing with friends but perhaps then whole groups might be encouraged to move to lighter servers. Especially if they get free transfers.
  8. Anyone found the body or headpieces yet?
  9. I just wanted to say how AWESOME today has been ingame. Announcements kicked off on fleet, then the newscast thing popped. All these new NPCs popped. Hints of a disaster. We went down to Tatooine, found a bunch of new stuff. Killed a new world boss, did a bunch of disaster-related dailies and then kicked butt in PVP a ton and infected loads of people there. I now own a Rakghoul pet and it was a complete surprise of a day which went down a storm with about 30 people I know across a couple of guilds. Awesome! Please do NOT stop doing this kind of thing. It's easy to lose the plague status. Either buy the med or just wait til you die... The reason why people are infecting others is that there's a quest. Also, every time you die from the plague, you get 5 more DNA towards the amount you need for the new items. Including teh Rakghoul pet and the black/green crystals.
  10. Here's my new friend! http://i370.photobucket.com/albums/oo149/eldelphia/Screenshot_2012-04-16_00_50_03_985019.jpg
  11. Screenshot of vendor. Rak pet from here http://i370.photobucket.com/albums/oo149/eldelphia/Screenshot_2012-04-15_16_55_55_581863.jpg Getting co-ords now

  13. Found it! New area 'Wreck of the Stardream'. Dune Sea dailies. New Jawa vendor there sells it.
  14. Yep I think so. Also you can buy it from the Jawa vendor and get it as a reward from the quests. So far gotten 4x samples and the rewards go up to 83ish in price. This is where you get the rakghoul pet from too.
  15. New Daily area is called 'Wreck of the Stardream'
  16. Just found an infected Bantha, level 50 heroic world Boss in the PVP area called Urtagh
  17. We've had an announcement on fleet and a load of new NPCs have popped. Republic announcer just said plague has spread and to report to medical personnel if you see anyone acting weird...
  18. Change is not the end of the world. It's harder but not tough. Honestly. Drama much?
  19. I haven't been hit very badly at all and I agree with the peeps who talk about the bubble and HoT. I just don't stand there casting long heals, with the exception of our AoE. I PvP'd for ages after the update and was fine. /shrug I don't see the problem. I noticed the changes and yeah felt a little more vulnerable but meh, did fine.
  20. The game is new. Everything is not perfect. Too many people came to SWTOR with the hope it would replace a fully-fledged and content-heavy aging MMO. It simply can't. It is not perfect. I think it's hard to keep up with the speed at which players consume content. However I am pleased that continue to fix things, continue to implement content and are at least attempting NOT to overwhelm new or slower-levelling customers. Would I as a level 50 like a little more to do? Sure. I now have another Warzone (LOVE PVP warzones), another FP, new daily quests and another Op. Is it tons to do? No... but it will keep me happy for a while. There's a lot of change to crafting too all of which seems interesting. I've played 7 years of FFXI. I led an endgame group which did everything. I don't want the same sort of demands on my time. In a year from now there will probably be more warzones, more quests, more class quests, more Ops, FPs and openworld PVP. Who knows what else... We probably won't be 50 anymore. I can wait a little longer. What 1.2 has done for me is convince me that whilst content progress is not as fast as I'd like, it's steady and that BW is working its way through a ton of tweak which improve our gaming experience intensely. I swore up and down as a healer in Directive 7 I was getting targetted too much... what do I see? BW admitting it was messed up and them fixing it. FFXI could take years to fix glitches. Gaming isn't the same anymore. People don't always want to commit the same time they may have done in the past. Hardcore MMOs only appeal to a small percentage of the potential gaming population out there. Do I want content that will stretch me? Yes. Am I worried that it's not all there yet? No. It's a good game with great potential. Sit back, enjoy the ride and be proud in a year from now that you were there from the beginning.
  21. I never see more than 15 people on the Republic Fleet at once...
  22. I hate the jumping. I come from an MMO where there was none. I am learning but I agree that it's not the best environment in which to platform. I love the fact that they exist and that you have to explore to get them. I think there could be a passing mention by an NPC in your class quest line about the datacrons once you hit Coruscant or something but I don't think it needs to be a quest. I really have a hard time with the jumping, don't know whether it's latency or w/e but I can never predict when I'm going to make jumps. I nearly threw my mouse across the room on Coruscant. I've managed to get my relic done and am working through endurance, willpower and presence ones where I can. I found the Jawa balloon fine but it didn't dump me early. But there are some I probably won't get without help. Tip for those who are struggling: find a high level Sage who is good at jumping. Have them go ahead and (if like me you struggle with invisible walls or issues jumping) make the hard jump then have them 'Rescue' you. I actually had to ask a fellow 50 Sage friend to come do that for me.
  23. It's you. SWTOR is not perfect but I'm sick to death of entitled teenagers whining.
