  1. Nice to see someone is doing well with the changes. What Utilities are you running currently?
  2. Crippling Slice is for Conc only and this thread is for Lethality. Having the root has been nice for me in that I can use it to gain distance or close distance. Pretty fun, actually.
  3. Well I do only play regs because the 8 man matches are so much better than the arenas, IMO. I would definitely pick ES and EI if I was concealment, but I don't see the need for them in Lethality since I am rarely in stealth or trying to get back in stealth. Might drop Sedatives for that reason, too. Thanks for the reply!
  4. I hear ya. The loss of those animations is why I chose to level my operative to 60 ahead of my scoundrel. Both were cool animations, but FR was just so super cool!
  5. For PvP. So what Utilities are you picking? I am pretty upset by the point restrictions to access masterful and heroic utilites. I picked Nanotech Suit, Infiltrator, and Slip Away for Skillful utilities. I am having to decide between Pin Down, Advanced Cloaking and Sedatives in Masterful. Currently I have skipped AC because I loved Pin Down when I was Concealment. Sedatives just seems to powerful to pass up. Will have to play a bit to see how much it helps as Lethality. In Heroic I am torn between Imperial Tactics, Evasive Screen, Evasive Imperative and Revitalizers. Using Imperial Tactics currently because the 10m TA is nice, but at 60 I have no idea which of the other 3 I will pick. How are you guys faring and what choices did you make?
  6. I'm assuming you mean for pvp... I use it occasionally to pop a stealther back out when he vanishes in group fights. It is also a hilarious finishing move, as I kind of feel like Scarface every time I use it. I believe it is getting some love in 3.0, as well.
  7. You got it right. If you run a spec without the 9% boost to aim, then go with Power augments.
  8. Nice guide Akilis! Wouldn't mind seeing some more games. I have dusted off my lowbie VG and having a good time with Tactics. Apparently I am drawn to the oddball AC/specs (concealment OP main). I must like punishing myself, heh.
  9. I think you are confusing Scamper with Hightail It (the Gunslinger roll). Scamper (Scoundrel) - Roll forward 12 meters. When slowed, you only roll forward 6 meters. While rolling, your chance to dodge melee and ranged attacks is increased by 30%. Does not break stealth. Cannot be used while immobilized. Scamper has a chance to stop white attacks. Hightail It (Gunslinger) - Roll forward 18 meters, freeing yourself from movement-impairing effects and landing crouched behind cover. While rolling, your chance to dodge attacks is increased by 100%. Hightail It blocks all attacks.
  10. I use this setup, as well. The extra tick on OS is nice for holding objectives.
  11. Looks like an intended bottleneck to throttle in the min/max gearing speed of players with more free time. Unfortunately, they crushed crit rating and power reigns supreme so everyone who can just gets the bracers. Prices will lower "soon". *edit* But yes, of course, please fix the pricing in this coming patch.
  12. High crits were also coming from using a Conq/Part Serendipitous Assault combo to double stack the power buffs. Now that you can't stack the relics we'll have to see how that effects our high end hits. I haven't tested on mine yet, but I am hoping we can still get separate procs from dmg and heals.
  13. Snipers can do this, as well, and their's travels a larger distance. Middle tree gets two in row. Sorcs and Sins have always been able to time a force speed jump to take advantage of game physics to leap farther off ledges, too.
  14. Not true, Sorcs and Sins both have been force speed jumping past the fires since release and both can force speed straight thru the fire with a sorc bubble on. Hell, a PT with his shield and a wz adrenal can HO run through and pop a medpack on the other side to get back to full health. Mercs can probably do this now with those same abilites. I bet Snipers can get through with no problems, too. Middle tree snipers can do it twice in a row. The only class that might have problems strolling throught the fire are Juggs, but hey they never worry about the traps anyway with two leaps.
  15. Thanks for starting that. I posted over there, as well. So annoying, especially when it's a close game!
