  1. Doing that all the time as well. Too tired of stupid hood covering my bloody face all the time.
  2. Lvl 42 Guardian Doc, both useful (without healer, we are just sooo much of a chore to play) & likeable character... (he is handsome ) Wouldn't trade him for any other companion, maybe if Lord Praven was actually possible as companion..
  3. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I love, how many topics there are here, on these forums, regarding hoods and dear Bioware adopts proverbial snail pace, when it comes to actually addressing the issue. Saw some bull-PR post somewere else on these forums, basically telling us nothing. Duh, isn't that sweet? And all we are asking to get the gear we got to see in promo pictures and even saw in beta. I personally hate to be cheated by marketing crap like that and I am certain that I am not the only one who feels that way. Paying customers, Bioware? Rings a bell?
  4. Well, I personally would prefer to have a choice between some chesty ***** and actually normal, tomboyish even look. I'd go for the second one, of course. But, it's annoying there is no such option. I don't want my Jedi female to necesarily look like some whore. So yeah, devs should fix that and also make an option for female characters to not look like star from some naughty movie for pleasure of teenage guys who have never seen a woman in RL. No offence.
  5. Might want to add, that even as femle character, I'd prefer to not have a butt with size of a horse. Same goes for chest pieces..
  6. I just died inside, seeing that armor. Seriously... what Jedi would wear this? Guess that I can as well stay away from PvP, if this is the top reward.
  7. I seriously hope that they will let female characters to romance Doc without getting Dark Side points... especially if it is possible for guys with Kira, without getting Dark Side points. It'd be totally unfair if females had it harder to romance than guys... So, if anyone knows, if it's possible, without giving out major spoilers, let us know.
  8. There's this. TOR has very little options when it comes to customization of the character as it is. I mean, I am not MMO fan either and admittedly, I am playing the game mainly because of story & because of being Star Wars fan. To the point, though - it seems that BW wanted to save up some money by cutting the variety of character customizations. At the top of all, they removed even this little variety from Guardians & from what I hear, Sentinels as well by not letting us to see faces and other features because someone felt like turning us into bunch of friggin Jawas. I hate Jawas, so I have one more reason to be cranky about this. I also want to see character I created. Double cranky. So, I'm asking myself.. where millions and millions of dollars went? Into making a huge hype campaign with pictures from the game which ultimately haven't even made it into the game? Into voice-acting? - That part is good (voice acting), not complaining, just asking probably rhetorical questions here. So, were we lied to? Being shown something, which is not in the game? as far as I am concerned, yes, I do feel like being cheated on by BW. Yes, I am cranky. It's past 4 am, I can't sleep, I am ill as hell and when logging on TOR forums, I still see that this damn hood issue is what? Ignored. Yes. Not that I expected anything else...
  9. I already do protest in a way... basically bought a moddable trooper armor for my lvl, ditched the mods from it, put my old good Jedi modifications into it... no hood. It's kinda silly that they refuse to add something, what's clearly already done. Sadly, until whole lot of us yells and screams and kicks, they have no reason to do much. After all, we already did pay the money for the game. And honestly, how man people would quit over not having an aesthetic appeasement? Not many, I think. That is why this, from business point of view, they don't need to give a damn about this issue.
  10. Totally agree... I actually got upset enough with it, so I bought first modifiable trooper heavy armor of my level I came across to, added my own modifications into it, just to get rid of that damn hood look...
  11. Going to post here, solely for the reason that I do not like this either. It is really disappointing, that we pick a character appearance in the beginning of the game, only to have their face covered for most of the game. Furthermore, we've been shown models, where the hoods are off, on the similar or even the same type of the apparel. Why bother making characters unique, when the hood on always completelly kills it? I could go on, regarding character look as well - I lack the possibility to customize the character even after you create them, even if it was by a vendor. Old SW Galaxies had that, so why a modern Star Wars game shouldn't allow that? I could also critize the quality of textures of my Jedi Knight; they are in ridiculously low-res, that they seem so awfully blurred when you look closer...and yes, I play on the highest possible graphics settings. People (yes, looking at you, devs) may think these are small things, but for me, Star Wars was always about immersion & characters. I want to make the character to my own liking and it seems I can't...
