  1. Also, I've seen a number of Imperial Agents with a number for their name, which always makes me smile.
  2. Someone complained that you greeded, rather than passed? That's a new one on me...
  3. I ignore them, it doesn't bother me, but as far as I'm concerned people who sign up to play on a server that asks you to respect other players style of play and use sensible names have every right to complain when people sign up with every intention of doing the complete opposite. The problem is not the complainers, or the trolls, it's Bioware's inability to provide properly policed rp forums.
  4. Personally I think a bigger concern is that nowadays a person expecting others to act like a decent human being is seen as the villain, rather than the **** trying to ruin the fun for others.
  5. 1. Anything with Cunning and Endurance bonuses. For secondary stats, pumping surge and crit is useful, power is an alternative. I wouldn't worry too much about defence. 2. There is no real right or wrong, the most important thing is that they compliment eachother, speak to every trainer on the fleet without actually taking the skill, then read the Codex entries to see what catches your eye. 3. This is my first mmo, so I have even less experience than you and picked it up quickly, you'll be fine. Good luck.
  6. TBH, if it happens regularly you should be looking at your set up and trying to improve things from your end, rather than asking for the game rules to be changed.
  7. If you are playing on an rp server, it should be easy enough for you to rp that they aren't there.
  8. Yes, as Aim goes up, your heals will go up. For your secondary, it's a matter of personal taste, with power your basic attacks and heals will improve, with crit and surge (which effects the percentage increase on a crit) your crits will happen more often and do more damage. I generally go with crit and surge upgrades.
  9. Everyone has two Primary stats, these are all you need to worry about, don't take into account what the primary stats of your companions or other characters do. As A Bounty Hunter, you need only worry about Aim and Endurance. edit: To expand on that, the same goes for your companions, don't worry about what your primaries do for you, all that matters for them are their primary stats.
  10. Why should another player follow your directions, they're there to play a game, not listen to a lecture on leet gaming. Fair enough on the other points though, even if personally I very rarely have an issue with any of them happening,
  11. This simply means the ability to play with players from across the world has been deemed more important than a fair distribution of maintenance times by Bioware.
  12. Then you couldn't farm mats/create items etc for your other chars.
  13. Oh dear, I hope nobody I know dies soon....
  14. If you buff a player flagged for PVP you also become flagged, could that be your issue?
  15. So Spartanik, basically you are saying mature writing = writing with a sledgehammer?
  16. Are you sure they wear off? I'm pretty sure mine don't...
  17. Oh look, they can take the servers down by region....
  18. Nobody has insulted me, or accused me of having entitlement issues. My point was I see it used all the time, for little more reason than a differing opinion.
  19. The one that I'm beginning to find tiresome is accusing anybody with a different opinion of having "entitlement issues".
  20. Why should you have to beg to play the game the way the developers intended? Sure I will mention it's my first time before I run through, but I'm not to going to grovel for permission to watch cutscenes.
  21. Plus the very fact that the entire flowchart has decided the rules of discussion without consulting the other party surely means it would fail it's own test.
  22. It's not boring the first time, does that make sense to you?
  23. I can only go by my experience in the game so far, which is my first mmo. In pretty much every group I've been in people have only needed for items their class can use. I have only had somebody need for an item not suited to their class once, and even that was a one off in a group I did three or four quests with. With that experience behind me, I naturally assumed that only needing for items your character can use is the norm, and I don't really see the need to specify rules before grouping, especially considering the point I made earlier.
